A list of puns related to "Oasis (band)"
Do you like any band as much as Oasis? I would also love to know if there are other bands that make you feel similar to what Oasis makes you feel?
Looking forward to you answers!
Best!
For me I would say The Courteeners and Blossoms. Bonus points if you recommend one or two particular songs from the band.
The Courtneers: You Overdid it Doll, Van der Graff.
Blossoms: Thereβs a Reason Why (acoustic), Honey Sweet
I learnt the strumming pattern and the first two chords of About A Girl in last couple of days and damn it's very hard to change chords.
I want to see if there's any, in your opinion.
Look forward to your responses!
Looked on Google. They started in 91π¬π¬
LetΒ΄s predict that the members of both bands are the same (eventough I know that the band with Boenehead and Guiggsy would have never begin with Noel because they didnΒ΄t know each other) but letΒ΄s say itΒ΄s possible.

Title says it all. I've heard the demos and seen enough interviews to know that Owen Morris was to oasis what George Martin was to the Beatles. Without him they would have been another forgotten band.
Oasis became greater than the sum of their parts as they had some truly outstanding people of the era but, Morris was the mastermind.
What do you think?
I Saw this on r/TheKillers so i'll try it here. I'll Start
My 2nd Favourite Band Is Weezer. They Likely Didn't Influence Oasis. It's More Likely The Other Way Around
So, Iβve got an English essay coming up, Iβve been told to argue for something for it. My teacher said I should do it on something that Iβm passionate about, so I thought Iβd do it on Oasis. However, Iβve only got a couple of ideas for it, so I thought Iβd ask you guys for some help. What makes Oasis the best band of all time? Even if you donβt actually believe it, try and give some reasons as to why theyβre the best. Also give me examples of songs, gigs, albums etc. so I can back up all of our suggestions. Hope you guys can help out, would be much appreciated!!
Edit: wow! I wasnβt expecting that many comments from people. Thanks so much for the ideas that youβve given, I will do my best to put them together into a solid essay. I believe Iβm going to change the title of the essay a little bit as many of you have recommended, and Iβm going to go away and do some research in preparation for writing. Thanks again and stay young everyone

Down memory lane we go!
When I was a kiddo back in the mid to late 90's, I used to pedal my bike down the road into a rough neighborhood where a friend lived. We would smoke reefer and trade CD's and tapes.
I had a copy of a Smashing Pumpkins album and this guy loved Smashing Pumpkins. So he traded me a copy of Morning Glory for this Smashing Pumpkins CD. I can't remember which one.
I remember playing Champagne Supernova and Wonderwall quite a bit and then setting the album to the side. At the time, I was more into older hard rock like AC/DC and Rolling Stones.
Years go by and I'm at a tough point in my life, and I remember it was in 2017. I was going through relationship problems and quite a bit of substance abuse. I kick back on the couch one day and put on Wonderwall. I think to myself "I could listen to this guy play guitar over and over all day". So I did. I listened to the guitar track from Wonderwall on repeat in pure admiration of it's simplicity and catchyness.
Then I moved on, I discovered Definitely Maybe. I listen to the whole album and think "these guys are BRILLIANT! How did I miss this???".
Now I'm full in. I love Oasis, I love the solo careers. I can't get enough.
Change my mind. There is no band with better quality songs per album than oasis.
So tickets are on sale for definitely oasis coming to Melbourne and theyβre $50 which is kinda steep for a tribute bandβ¦but has anyone seen them and can recommend or should I just wait till Liam comes next
If everyone who has been in oasis agreed to reunite, how the band composition should be? Will it be the classic members or late members? Who should be the drummer?
I'm looking for British Rock bands similar to Oasis, which were successful between the 90s and 2000s. Some of my favorites apart from Oasis are Blur, The Verve, The Libertines, Radiohead, Codplay, Arctic Monkeys ...
That's the kind of band I'm looking for. What other bands do you recommend?
Thanks.
EDIT: I'm looking for bands that appeared between the 90s and 2000s like the ones I mentioned. Sorry for the confusion, I don't speak English
I've double booked myself. First person that says yes will get a screenshot of the ticket
