I’ve tried smushing as many as I can, but I can’t get them all, and from past experience growing cakes, they won’t go away if I kill them all. Is there some sort of natural remedy or treatment for the tub I can try?
I understand that the first living beings were unicellular organisms, prokaryotes, which reproduce asexually. If DNA was only "cloned" from one organism to form an offsrping, how did different species appeared? I'm guessing it has to do with some kind of genetic mutation, but even then I can't wrap my mind around how sexual reproduction started.

Hello. The reason why I have this point of view is I view freedom to be limited only by not allowing to harm other people. If anparent with dominant genetic disirder,especially debilitating illness that might cause suffering for the offspring to not be allowed to reproduced. As for the method perhaps using videos explaining why it will be harmful for him/her offspring to pass his/herbgenetic disease. Of course not all illnesses will require this. Only illnesses that will cause hard to manage pain and /or sickness. The same apply for recessive disease if both parents are affected or one is affected and the other is carrier. Also abortion should benoffered to the parents if a child is affected if the parents are not both affected.

As far as we know, spectating the evil eye while it is firing can cause a crash. This is very much an issue as this hinders the spectator significantly. The good thing is that since it is reproducible, it shouldn't be that hard to fix

I have a rather naive question. If I were to use one of the popular automatic differentiation packages to train a deep neural net, how reproducible would my results be? Assuming I've set the seed and controlled for any other obvious gotchas, would I be able to reproduce the weights in a deep neural net exactly (to machine precision) on two successive training runs?
In a traditional ML algorithm, the answer to that would be "yes, obviously". But for deep neural nets, the computations are orders of magnitude bigger, and run in parallel. I don't know enough about low-level programming or the ISO float standard to guarantee that 1/ truncation errors don't get propagated in a non-deterministic manner, and 2/ that race conditions in a graphics card won't cause non-deterministic behaviour in my training batch.

Idk what button I pressed but now in my session the midi notes don't show up in the pattern/piano roll, can't reproduce them in the pattern and I can't edit them in the piano roll either, though can be reproduced nice as always in the playlist. How do I solve this?

I got into an argument, which turned into a shouting match, which turned into a crying match with my father, who claimed that no man would want to marry me if I only wanted to adopt kids and that there’s no point to marriage if I don’t get pregnant and give birth.
Since 2006, I have been diagnosed with an unpleasant endrocrine condition, and more importantly, with PTSD and Depression. At times, these illnesses make my life a living hell., even though mild/moderate (I’ve only had outpatient treatment, never been involuntarily committed or anything) Although my father is a doctor, he claims that these illnesses are not heritable, which contradicts reams and reams of peer reviewed studies. 🙄
As a practicing Buddhist, one of the parts of the noble eightfold path is “Right Action”. Mental illnesses cost society billions of dollars a year in lost productivity, not to mention billions in insurance costs. I don’t feel right bringing a child into the world who is fettered with horrible psychiatric illnesses that limit his or her life. In addition, the endocrine disorder I mentioned carries a fourfold higher chance of miscarriage, which would cause emotional anguish to me and my future life partner. I want to do whatever I can in this lifetime to alleviate dukkha.
Am I in the wrong here? I feel like it’s profoundly unethical for me to reproduce. Esp. when there are millions of kids languishing in foster care looking for loving homes. The human race won’t go extinct if I don’t give birth lol.
