I have seen a few overly dramatic people on Twitter and Reddit going on about how they are "literally shaking" from the recent spree of mass shooting attacks.
While those attacks are worth a long in depth civil discussion by itself, if you aren't directly affiliated with the victims, you need to get a grip with yourself and stop making everything about you.
Like you are taking national tragedies, and making it about yourself. If it bothers you that much, get off your ass and speak to your local lawmakers.
It just really annoys the shit out of me. Like I may like guns, BUT at least I respect anyone calling for action against guns. That's action. You're voicing a stance, and that's good.
You saying "omg, I'm literally shaking" is just fucking worthless reaction to tell anyone.

Otherwise, thank you for the mostly civil discussion, even if you really disagree with me. Only a few people grossly misunderstood me. I also do have empathy for innocent people getting slaughtered minding their own business, but I don't have room for people seeking attention over something that has little to do with them.

Someone made a burner account to tell me to die, yet I "don't have empathy" and I'm the "psycho"? The irony is so thick, I could scoop it up and spread it on a peice of bread. Also, hypothetically speaking, what if I was a nutbar with no empathy and ready to go off. Wouldn't harassing me with nasty messages just confirm my delusional bias with society at large? The "no affiliation" tag is the most underused and underrated tag in the game. I feel like we should have more of these mobs in our regular pve modes so units with that killer won't be useless. You have great units like SS grimmjow wasting in your box because of his affiliation killer. It's really sad seeing how the tag is used. Also, "no affiliation" shouldn't just be another affiliation. It should mean exactly what it says. Such units should be given a cheat-code like function, where they can be used in any mode regardless of the requirements of said mode. That's what "no affiliation" should mean, imo. Not just make it another affiliation. But what do you guys think?

I grew up in Wisconsin where we have no team. I’ve never been to a hockey game but was recently in the Ducks arena for a concert and got really excited to see a game(plus I live in SD and can root for the Gulls). I don’t know any hockey players anymore so I have to start completely fresh.

However, don't let yourself be cut out by failing to update your party affiliation to 'Democratic Party' before your state's deadline. Most states won't allow you to change your party affiliation last minute and in most, if you're not affiliated you cant vote in the primaries. I don't normally register with any party but this year it really matters. Tiffany Caban's situation in Queens highlights that 1) Individual districts can be won or lost by literally a handful of votes 2) every one of our registrations need to be iron-clad or we risk the 'Machine' trying to disenfranchise us by throwing away our votes.
Bernie will win the generals but we have to get him there first!

US centric opinion I’m not sure if this is the same way in other countries.
You shouldn’t be able to use your religion to get clout or to disparage other people when it comes to politics. Your religious beliefs have no influence on your ability to be a politician or to lead and all it is is a cheap manipulation tactic to pander to religious leaning people that want to see someone similar to them in office.
Religion has absolutely no place in politics or the political sphere and you should be able to win on your charisma and be able to state your beliefs and defend them based on factual evidence instead of pathos based religious speaking points.
Also it will eliminate the issue of people not voting for someone because they don’t hold the same religious values when they would have voted for them otherwise just based on their platform.

Heyyyyy so, distributor is asking for a music cue sheet for a film we made.
We had a composer write some songs for us that we used in the film, which are available on iTunes as the film's official soundtrack.
Also I'm lame and used Apple's "royalty-free" jingles at a couple parts in the film.
I understand how to fill out the rest of the music cue sheet except for the "Composer Affiliation %" and "Publisher Affiliation %" for our friend who wrote the songs, and especially for Apple's music which I believe is fair game.
Maybe I'm not using the right search terms but I can't find nearly enough examples online to give me a clear idea on what to do here. I feel like this is super basic, but here I am, helpless.
Just wanted to give a heads up! A lot of states have these rules where you can only vote for a specific candidate if you're affiliated with that party, and each state has its own deadline. New Hampshire's is tomorrow!

I am not usually one for sentimental posts but I am grateful for this sub. Its refreshing to read the posts on here from time to time. In todays world of social media where were are constantly inundated with negativity and division through media. Its refreshing that the typical political, racial, sexual, gender, and every other difference under the sun that makes us different isn't on the radar here. I feel this sub is one of the positive aspects of technology. I'ts great to hear people support each other without the dividing lines based on all the things you hear about these days. Its become so bad that I refuse to watch the news anymore, but I don't have to worry about that on this thread. This support group has been instrumental in my progresss and continues to be so. So I will keep fighting the good fight, heres to another battle won, peace be to you all. Heres to the sober revolution!
People always say moderation is key. Wouldn’t a liberal help their spouse from becoming too conservative and wouldn’t a conservative help their spouse from becoming too liberal. Like a checks and balance.

I always believed my vote never really made a difference or mattered, i'm done believing that. Bernie makes me hopeful and willing to get out of my comfort zone to help in whatever ways I can. This was the first year I have donated to a campaign and i'm proud to be a part of this movement for real change!
I asked via modmail why I was banned and didnt get an answer yet. But here's the context:
I frequent a sub called r/AgainstHateSubreddits. As the name would suggest, the sub is dedicated to finding and rooting out subs or the userbase of subs that promote hate, violence, etc.
On a post someone made about r/The_Donald users promoting white supremacy, I found a comment (now deleted) that essentially said something to the effect of "we should throw milkshakes and eggs at WASPs (white Christians) so that when the military rebels theyll know who to shoot and kill, because all white Christians are Nazis." The comment was decently upvoted. This struck me as very odd for two reasons: first, because the commentor was conflating all white Christians with Nazis, which seems patently absurd to me (i.e. it would have been one thing to say "egg and shake all Nazis so we can kill them," but the user essentially said "egg and shake all white Christians do we can kill them because they're all Nazis."); second, because the user was calling for hate and violence against people on the basis of their racial and religious group membership, which seemed wholly antithetical to the purpose of the sub where they made the comment.
I said as much to the user. This resulted in a spat with both the OP of the comment and another user who also supported the use of violence against white Christians. The OP in particular was very hostile with me (lots of insults and profanity, to which I did not respond to in kind). The various replies to me took three basic forms, often flipping back and forth between them in the same thread: 1) they doubled down on their support of violence against white Christians, 2) they alleged that it was just a "joke," and 3) that I need to chill out.
My replies back were basically just outlining that its not okay, especially on that particular sub, to call for hate and violence on the basis of religious/racial identity. Even if it's just a "joke," saying we should physically assault, humiliate, taunt, and later kill all white Christians in order to deal with Nazism isnt acceptable anymore than saying or "joking" that we should physically assault, humiliate, taunt, and later kill all Arab Muslims in order to deal with ISIS. To the other who joined in to the discussion I drew a distinction between using retaliatory or preemptive violence against specific individuals who have threatened you personally vs advocating for violence against all members on the
