A list of puns related to "Native Indonesians"
Hi all -
I lived in Jordan for about a year and I want to keep up my Palestinian/Jordanian Arabic and am more than willing to help others practice English.
I also lived in Indonesia for a long time but haven't practiced it in over 10 years and am trying to pick it back up again.
Reach out if you would be interested. I'm slow at getting back so if I don't reply for awhile that doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, just means I haven't had the chance to sit on my computer for non-work things.
Itโs for a project, I want to have a short list of phrases and such to create a library online for people to find resources of any language they want to find, directly from natives so that there will be no inaccuracies.

i just went thru dozens of threads in this sub and i am left kinda sad koz so few are seeking Chinese Mandarin, a language that has been struggling to gain its popularity, as to speak, in vain, by whatever reasons. anyway i'll put an end to my sentimental reflections now.
i'm planning to take TOEFL 120 point exam this December. i need a native "vibe" to lead me down that point where i can be immersed in the native wording, expressions etc for 0.5 hour twice a week. in return, i 'd like to give a 0.5 hour mandarin tutoring which is my 10-year-experience profession. thank you guys for your time reading my post. DM me if you are interested.
23F looking for either a tandem partner for any of the above mentioned languages or a study partner to learn Japanese together :)
Hello! Iโm a 22 year old from the United States, hoping to learn Indonesian Bahasa and perhaps make a friend as well! (:
The idea is that itโs a place for learners to write everyday and have native speakers correct them. Writing everyday, even if itโs a little bit, can massively accelerate your learning. Not to mention talking to native speakers can introduce you to slang and syntax you may not find in books.
Anyway. The link is bellow, feel free to check us out!

Hi, I made a subreddit for learning Indonesian. Itโs called write streak, a lot of different languages have them really successfully, the point is to write in the language everyday and if any native speaker ever felt like dropping by and helping us out, that would be really kind of you!

Im a young chindo that has been told many times by my native friend that chindo are rich and cannot be poor. And in my whole life i had only seen 1 - 2 lower middle class chindo and 1 poor chindo.
Apa kabar?
I (f19) have been trying to take language learning seriously for some time so here I am. I've picked up some broken, conversational Indonesian (probably worked because of the supplementary, yet essential, elaborate sign language and gestures) during my trips. I would like to learn Indonesian to connect with my heritage and relatives and blend in with the locals. I've also already created similar posts seeking German and French, so don't freak out if you see them lol.
Offering
My mother tongue is Hijazi Saudi Arabic. Tell me what your language learning goals, expectations, etc. are as well as your hobbies and what you want to talk about, and I'll see if I can help.
I also know English (C1). Again, tell me about your trying to achieve, and I'll tell you if I'll be any help.
Seeking
I would love to have a language buddy who I can learn Indonesian with. I would love it if I had a structured lesson plan to track my progress and not lose focus, but I don't. I do have German- and French-specific lesson plans, so maybe we can alter the topics and grammar lessons in a way that'll work out for Indonesian. I thought of making up scenarios and acting them out (roleplaying), like talking to a cashier or ordering food at a restaurant. I hope to become at least an A1.1 at least in the next 3 months. :)
Also, if you know Banjar or Palembang Indonesian Bahasa, it would the cherry on top. I would like to learn more about their cultures, traditions, people, stereotypes (lol), etc. and, most importantly of course, their dialects.
We can go on Zoom, Meet, Teams, or Discord. We can go over our agendas together to schedule our calls. My timezone is UTC+3.
Hi Everyone,
I'm a 26 year old guy who wants to improve his English skills and finally reach the C2 level! I feel I still have much to learn and would love to learn more about real English as it is spoken. I'm not living in an English-speaking country, so it'd be good to have someone who I can speak English with on a regular basis.
A little bit about me, I'm into video games (particularly single-player story-driven experiences), photography, cooking and I'm currently learning to play guitar as well! Regarding my Indonesian, I am a native speaker who can help you practice the language and can provide you some perspectives on the culture :)
So if you are interested in having me as your language-learning partner, feel free to send me a PM!
Thank you!
Iโve got an Indonesian background and use Indonesian every day and estimate myself to be a C1.5 level. I really want to push myself over to C2 within the next year. If youโre a native Indonesian speaker who wants that push in English and if you want someone to ask random, small questions to, then I can definitely help with that.
Hi all,
I am 30 yo male, and I am seeking to gain conversational skills in German. My interests are environment, culture, (sometimes) games, and cooking. I know Indonesian is not a common language to learn, but I can also help you with English too :)
Feel free to send me a message!
So I'm a native speaker of the Philippines' Bisaya (Cebuano) language, and I keep on hearing that my language is closer to Bahasa than Tagalog/Filipino.
The only proof I have right now is that the word for duck in Bisaya is itik and in Tagalog/Filipino it's bibe/pato. Would anyone be interested in maybe swapping Discord usernames and chatting about this? I'd love to learn Indonesian in a language exchange style.
Hi! 21F, native English speaker with a standard American accent. I'm looking for help improving my Spanish (intermediate) and Indonesian (beginner). Texting and calling are ok with me.
I'm interested in talking about politics, culture, books, tv shows, and gaming. It'd be fun to play Among Us or Minecraft together. I'd prefer to get in contact over Discord but I'm open to other platforms like Whatsapp too. If anyone can help or anyone needs help/practice with English feel free to reach out to me!
Hi! Im a 21 (F) living in the UK & iโm originally from Malaysia. I went to Italy & lived with a host family for 4 weeks last year to improve my italian & learn the culture. Im looking for someone who can speak with me regularly as I achieved level A2-B1 in the 4 weeks i was there & I have no one to practice it with here. My reading & listening skills are better than my speaking skills so I would love to articulate better Italian. Thank you!
I'm a 16M from the Netherlands eager to learn. I love learning languages and linguistics. I studied French and German in school, but never felt like I could truly speak them, so I need some more practice and experience. Indonesian I'm more or less a beginner at.

Hello guys. I'm currently looking for Japanese speakers (preferably native) to help me improve my language abilities. I like anime and manga but we can talk about anything else. I love Japanese music and I've been listening to lots of them since I was in school. I prefer written chat over voice chat if that's okay since I'm pretty shy. If you have any trouble regarding English or Indonesian, I'd be more than happy to help you. Looking forward to be friends with you, please kindly message me! :D
