A list of puns related to "Mr. Bean (character)"
I don't know why so many people like him, I've not laughed at a single clip, video, or episode of this show even when I was younger. Never understood how anybody could laugh at it, never will.
He has no outside help. And just say the character he has to defeat is near his house so he can only use whatever household items he has to defeat the character. Who is the strongest character he can hold off with these conditions in mind?
There're are many beans, Baked beans, String beans, Kidney beans etc but the worst bean is Mr Bean, I love Rowan Atkinson but Mr Bean is his one character that i really don't like. He's great for 10 minutes and then becomes infuriatingly annoying and i have no idea how they managed to squeeze TWO 90 minute films out of a character who takes 10 minutes of slapstick to get on a train
After my near two-decade protest that B is far superior than the blue label, and her asking why I didn't get Heinz when I go shopping, it appears she's finally turned the corner. This calls for a celebration.
Edit: I moved to the U.K. in June 2004 and was aware of Branston beans by July 2004. How some y'all never heard of it is astounding.
Edit 2: my timeline is a bit off...apparently apparently Branston Beans didn't even exist until late 2005. I was, however aware of them.
Hello all!
I am just finishing up Impel Down when, upon seeing the most heinous of criminals, recalled the strongest villain I've ever witnessed: Mr. BEANS, the Baroque Works agent.
Now, I'm not caught up at all with the anime or the Manga. But one thing is for certain: Oda cannot possibly create a stronger character than Mr. Beans. I've seen God, a poisonous man and Whitebeard himself. Yet they all seem like secondary opponents. Here's my reasoning:
He has a picture of Pandaman on his shirt. That means that he has the reflexes to take a frame perfect picture of one of the most elusive creatures known to man. Thus, we can rightfully assume he moves at the speed of light, maybe faster.
He snuck up on Zoro. Zoro is so in tune with his enemies that he is capable of such deft movement and absolute perception that he is able to avoid Kuma's lasers. Yet, Mr. Beans was able to take him by surprise. He only lost because his partner was incompetent, and the nun costume was ostentatious.
He can shape shift at will. His devil fruit, the God God no mi allows him to take any form he wants, as in the colored Manga he displays himself as a blonde, in the anime he has brown hair when the Straw Hats make it to Whiskey Peak, and he has grayish hair in his fight with Zoro. I would not be surprised if every antagonist wasn't actually just Mr. Beans incognito.
He is immune to tranquilizers and poison gas. Because Miss Catherina is a user of gas techniques, Mr. Beans is forced to be in constant close proximity to toxins. Like Luffy, he has then built up a strong immunity toward them.
At a young age, he has achieved proficiency with both guns and swords. This one is the most self explanatory and obvious, but still worth mentioning. He has mastered all material weapons.
Now, Oda might refuse to admit it, but he went crazy with the scaling. Glad Mr. Beans is the anomaly that he is, otherwise the known universe might collapse in on itself.
They're two very funny, very, in their own way, socially inept people. Larry is more well adjusted to society than Mr Bean is, but he often encounters havoc in his personal life and gets into all kinds of predicaments because of his divergent kind of personality.
"Awww Teddy." β€
Mr Bean just happens to find the six of them lying in the street. Once word gets out he's got the stones, characters start showing up to try and kill him. Mr Bean doesn't know why they're attacking him, but he will, of course, defend himself.
What is the Socionics type of Mr. Bean (the character, not Rowan Atkinson)? Iβve seen ILE, SLI, LII, and ILI all been suggested for him. He is considered to be an INTP in MBTI and generally either a 5 or 9 in Enneagram.
Just something that occurred to me, and this has probably been posted or mentioned somewhere before, but I do believe Mr. Bean (as a character) could be on the spectrum... my reasoning?
He is awkward and clumsy.
He often does things in ways that most would perceive as odd.
He has routines he follows.
He barely speaks more than a few words at a time, and often repeats certain words a few times.
He has a plush bear toy he carries with him almost everywhere, and he even calls it "Teddy" .
Related to the mention of the toy bear, Mr. Bean gets upset if he loses his bear, and angry if he has it stolen from him (which did happen in an episode of the animated series).
Takes things at face value, such as when he was tasked with getting his "girlfriend" a gift for Christmas, she had pointed to a store display of a diamond ring... and he got her the picture of the ring from the display, and a hook to hang it on.
He is easily startled by things around him.
I could go on, but I need to dig out my DVD set and watch Mr. Bean again.
