A list of puns related to "Montenegrin nationalism"
Like the history of it, maybe the different types if there are any? Etc, etc. Maybe it can be a video too, if there's something like that. I found some myself but I'm not really sure if it's truly accurate, so I figured I'll ask here :)
It can be written in Montenegrin, I'm slavic so I shouldn't have too much problem reading it.
I know that Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks and Montenegrins speak the same language with minor variations. But while Serbs, Bosniaks and Croats have different religions from each other, what makes Montenegrins distinct from them, especially Serbs?
Hey everybody, today I will attempt to piece together all my thoughts and recommendations for Serbia in TNO, both gameplay and lorewise. Note that I'm just a fan and don't have any deeper information, I'll just try to not contradict what official information we have while making up a good part of the story.
Serbia up to 1962
Kingdom of Yugoslavia, founded in 1918 and officially named so in 1929, has in principle been in opposition to the Axis in the interwar period, especially to Italy, with whom it had territorial disputes in Dalmatia. However, with the French, Yugoslavia's traditional ally, falling to German invasion in 1940, pro-German options in Yugoslavia gained more traction. As a result of this and increasing German pressure, Yugoslavia agreed to enter the Tripartite Pact on March 25th, 1941. However, only two days later, army generals led by Dusan Simovic led the coup d'etat which ousted the regency and gave still underage king Petar II full royal powers. The coup was in direct defiance of Hitler's will, which made Fuhrer furious. Invasion of Yugoslavia began on April 6th, 1941, and ended eleven days later with total German victory. The victorious invaders divided Yugoslavia amongst themselves, leaving Serbia as a shell of it's former self under Comissary Government of Milan Acimovic. The legitimate government fled to London, vowing to continue the fight.
This didn't sit right with the Serbian people, who across Yugoslavia divided themselves into two resistance groups against Germans and their lackeys - the nationalist monarchist Chetniks of general Dragoljub Mihajlovic, and multinational communist partisans of Josip Broz Tito. Initial advent of the uprising forced Germans to replace incompetent Acimovic with an old general Milan Nedic, who was despite his hesitation, finally coerced into assisting the occupator with his large popular authority. Nedic's right-hand man was Dimitrije Ljotic, leader of the ultranationalist and antisemite movement ZBOR. While Ljotic lacked Nedic's popularity, he in turn was more fanatic and loyal to Berlin than him.
The uprising soon lost it's momentum, and partisans and Chetniks broke their uneasy alliance to enter an open civil war, both (albeit Chetniks significantly more) willing to enter arrangements with Germans to defeat the other side. But their chances were quickly declining. USSR, the rolemodel and ideological supporter of partisans, was crushed in 1942, and the British, who provided support to Chetn

My goal is to play all those tags at least once and get as much power on the world as humanly possible.Today i did Albania, one of the tags with the oldest content of the mod and most likely also one of the most painful to play.Do you want to be Bulgaria's bitch, "helping" them against the Belgrade Pact and then go insane because of how weak this country is? then Albania is for you.
As Albania, you have nothing: No god generals, No pp generation to get shit out, 1 civ, 1 mil, a embarassingly small core pop and only one claim/core outside of your country.Makes sense for what it is, but it truly is painful.
if you manage to not Capitulate during the first 2 months of the balkan war, thats already a great achievment, as the most you can pump out will be 5 divisions with 8width, which are not enough to cover both your fronts with the Serbs and Greeks, as such you will have to rely on bulgaria to do well, and oh boy, good luck.In my case the war lasted until mid 1939, because bulgaria kept switching division around from a front to another, but thanks to that i was able to prepare and justify on both Montenegro and what remained of Serbia, and take them over (although serbia was particularly difficult to break since they didnt capitulate in the balkan war unlike greece and bulgaria.
As for paths, i didnt want to feel guilty for putting the albanian, montenegrin and serbian people under the leadership of literal neo-feudalists (which are funnily enough named the "progressive party"), so i went with the Bashkimi SocDems.

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
I'm an American who knows very little about your country, and I've been trying to learn about Balkan politics. I had some questions (which are likely to be fairly contentious) that I thought you might be able to help with. Please also let me know if there are any misconceptions built into my questions, and feel free to tell me anything else you think an ignorant foreigner should know.
Demographics:
What is the relationship between ethnic Montenegrins and ethnic Serbs in Montenegro like?
Some sources seem to suggest that there is a dispute over whether or not Montenegrin is even a separate ethnicity from Serbian. Does this mean that there is a dispute about whether the 45%* of citizens of Montenegro who identify as Montenegrins and the 29%* who identify as Serbs are the same ethnicity, with everyone agreeing that Serbs in Montenegro and Serbs in Serbia are the same ethnicity? Or does it mean that there's a dispute over whether the Serbs/Montenegrins in Montenegro are the same ethnicity as the Serbs in Serbia, and those who identify as Serbs are just those who think that they are the same ethnicity (and hence call themselves Serbian), with everyone agreeing that Serbs in Montenegro and Montenegrins are the same ethnicity?
Similarly, there appears to be some disagreement over whether or not the Montenegrin language is a separate language from Serbian (or Serbo-Croatian?). Do the 43%* of people in Montenegro whose primary language is Serbian and the 37%* whose primary language is Montenegrin have consistent differences in how they speak, or is the difference between them just what they think the language should be called?
Does language correlate with politics when controlling for ethnicity? That is, how do the political views of Serbian-speaking Montenegrins compare to the political views of Montenegrin-speaking Montenegrins, and to Serbians?

NATO:
If I understand correctly, the current ruling coalition in parliament was supported mainly by people who oppose NATO, but the government has expressed commitment to NATO since getting elected. Are supporters of the new government upset about this? Is NATO gaining acceptance in Montenegro?
Leadership and the coup:
I understand Milo Đukanović has corruption scandals and links to organized crime. He's been accused of selling state industrial assets for far less than they're worth, attacking journalists, and using police brutality. Despite this, he remains president of the Democratic Party of Soci

Social democracy is thought of to be a progressive, pragmatic, forward-thinking ideology, and the parties associated with them, such as the UK Labour, German SPD and Swedish SAP, are often viewed as great parties, slightly mythologized even - they have a long tradition and a history of standing up for working men and women and of support for civil liberties and an open, tolerant society, as well as a dedicated commitment towards the causes of social justice, equality and solidarity.
Sadly, however, most of the major Central and Eastern European self-professed social democratic parties have no such tradition and no such history - it is much darker and they have very different origins from their Western counterparts - and, in the case of many of those parties, their present-day commitment towards working people, as well as towards liberal democracy and the values social democracy had stood for throughout history, is highly questionable. However, it is not just their own flaws that are problematic with those parties - it is also one thing they have little control over, and that’s the fact that the terms “left” and “socialism”, and to a degree “social democracy” too even, are highly tainted, associated with 20th century Marxism-Leninism, which is highly unpopular among younger, urban and more educated demographics (in contrast to older, rural and less educated demographics that often might even look back at communism positively).
I am writing this post, as a Central and Eastern European (from Serbia), for the purpose of exposing how numerous formerly communist parties of this half of the continent had co-opted or otherwise tainted the term “social democracy” generally viewed incredibly positively in the West, as well as how people should make sure that they aren’t deceived by their names, red colour, red rose logos and references to social democracy or democratic socialism in their party constitutions and documents; I will expose those among them that hold highly social conservative stances, the repeated betrayal of working people and their mind-boggling corruption characteristic of many of them, and also analyze some voter demographics, commenting on the general demographic trends in Eastern European countries with regards to party affiliation and ideology; finally, I will also mention the rare beacons of hope among European left-wing parties, including which ones among the major Central and Eastern European social democratic parties are not
