A list of puns related to "Montenegrin Federalist Party"
President Webster is seeking re-election. After wining in 1836. The abolitionist moment has gained steam and so has the expansionist movement.
Background:
The Economy: after a brief recovery period in 1838 the economy feel hard again in 1839. In July of 1839 the bank of New York declared bankruptcy and soon after many more state banks feel apart. This sent the economy going down hill afterwards. By January of 1840 six state banks had declared bankruptcy. Webster came up with the recovery act. Which included the national bank absorbing state banks and putting a checks and balance system on the national bank. it inflated the currency. Webster had tighten land regulations on the western territoryโs and has raised the price of land in the west. Webster has also pick up internal improvements after they where stalled by Clay. Webster believes this will combat unemployment. With the bill having passed largely in the house and by a smaller margin in the senate. The Federalist and national Republican dominance seems unbreakable.
Foreign affairs: the main issue has continued to be the Texas revolution. With Webster having refused any annexation attempts this has given rise to the annexation movement mostly seen in the south. However it also feeds the abolitionist movement. During this Webster has tried to smooth over Mexican relations and promises that American will not encroach on its land or in Texas and that Webster has assured peace with Mexico. In 1837 Canadian rebels crossed into America and rallied men to there side. It escalated quickly into a major controversy and Webster send Winfield Scott to sort out the issue. Scott did and the rebel didnโt come back to the nation. Webster meanwhile assured the Canadians that he nor anyone in the government was involved in the issue. Webster has had a foreign policy centered around peace and anti expansionist redirect.
State of the union:
What Webster and most American for that matter thought was a dead issue came back in the aftermath of the battle of lake Okeechobee. Where now southerns wish for Indian removal again and call for it on a national sene. It eventually resulted in a war in the south, the Alabama war where Alabama settlers and native Americans fired at each other and bruins village like the town of Huntsville Alabama. General Taylor was dispatched to solve the issue however the war still carryโs on after failed peace negotiations. With Alabamaโs governor refusing Websterโs plead for peace and h

Background;
The Economy: with things still going up in the economy with business functioning and thriving especially in urban areas. Although the south is in a more difficult situation with the tariff hurting there trade economy and it being a agricultural based society as opposed to the north which Adams policyโs favor. In 1830 Adams passed the tariff of 1830 which raised tariffs by 15 percent and to a total of a 40 percent tariff. Cussed much backlash in the south and many states talked about nullification. Adams in 1832 lowers taxis by 8 percent fulfilling his promise to do so. Adams has continued his public works programs and his support of internal improvements. Adams has also made more federal appointment of bank members and has taken more control over the issue of bank appointments. Trade has picked up in the Caribbean and Adams policy of North American trade seems to be working very well. Adams also managed to pass a bill to build a naval academy which is under construction by the time of the election.
Foreign affairs: Adams second term foreign affairs where generally uneventful. Adams did not send any new foreign mission out past 1830 and has consolidated the ones he has sent out. However Adams in 1831 approved a Mexican American trade treaty. Which brought the two nations closer together. Trans Atlantic trade is increased despite the tariff as American goods are being shipped cross the Atlantic more then ever before. But imports have fallen and it has hurt the nation economy but Adams argues it is ultimately a good thing. The tariff still remains hugely controversial and a divisive issue especially between north and south.
State of the union:
The American colonization society has lost most of its popularity in the Deep South and has retained popularity in the upper and border south but many now grow suspicious of it and believe it to be supported to much by abolitionist and donโt support it out of hate of president Adams. But itโs overall influence in slowing. The national is becoming more and more partisan especially with the ongoing nullification crisis. Congress becomes more deadlocked because of it and more hard to get much done. Adams has done much to protect voting rights and to stop new anti voting laws from emerging although this has cussed South Carolina to believe Adams is abusing his federal power against the state. I

Background:
The Economy: in the middle to late period of clays term the economy begun to sink and steadily decline. The boom of the Adams presidency begun to slowly decline and Clay as president got the blame for it however many argue that it is a natural downturn and that Clay has helped stabilize the nation economy and help further downturn. Security of the treasury Crittenden has also helped defend his own record saying that centralized banking will help stabilize inflation and regulate goods and the prices of said goods. Clay has also stated that the stagnation will not last and is merely a fluke and it will pick up soon enough. Clay and Crittenden have defended there views on protective tariffs saying that a free market system will help the economy get worse and that European merchants will suck the profits from Americans. Clay also lowered taxis twice while in office. Clay also cut back on internal improvements to save federal revenue. Clay also passed two big economic bills being
The banking act which allowed the national-bank to have control and regulate the foreign trade being passed
The coinage act, which slightly inflated the currency to modernize the currency as it had not been updated since the 1790s.
Clay also begun talks with Crittenden and the treasury department of regulation of land selling in the west.
Foreign affairs: while mostly uneventful but in the last year of clays term a new issue emerged and a major one at that. The issue of the Texas revolution. Many mainly southerns wanted to send arms and aid to the Texans rebels or even fight Mexico as they argued that โthey are brothers in revolution, just as France helped us we should help Texasโ. Said one representative from Missouri. Many didnโt want to go to war or even have the possibility of war with Mexico saying that the troops would die of attrition and of dehydration. Clay has taken a peace stance on the issues and a non intervention stance.
Clay cut back on the missions system imposed by Clinton and Adams. As well as Marshall to a lesser degree. Clay says they where needlessly expensive. Clay has been anti imperialist on Latin American policy and has proven to take anti British encroachment stance making American a regional power. Just as Cl

Background
The Economy: after complete recovery from the 1819 panic the economy begun to go up and boom with wages going up and manufacturing and other industries expanding. President Adams has tried to crack down on corruption of the national-bank to some success having arrested many of its members and working closely with Nicholas biddle. Adams attempted to raise tariffs with the 1825 tariff bill but congress shut it down. But Adams then raised taxis in 1826 to pay for internal improvements. This lead to more backlash against internal improvements. Adams then rises taxis further in 1827. Causing a small riot in New Orleans over the tax. Adams has increased forging trade and brought in trade relations with Mexico especially. Adams then made free access for the post system on federal highways.
Foreign affairs: Adams foreign policy has largely revolved around expanding trade and prestige of the nation with European powers. With New Orleans-Veracruz being one of most busy in the nation. Adams has sent ministers to Holland Austria the ottomans Hawaii as well as Denmark and Brazil. However many argue the missions are to expensive and the us should be isolationist Adams believes it will help the nation in the long term. Adams also outlawed the slave trade in us territoryโs hurting Caribbean trade and trade with Cuba and other nations. Adams sent Edward Livingston to the congress of Panama and was a leading figure there in giving the us a good reputation. Adams officially recognized the Mexican American border improving relations with Mexico.
State of the union: the Independence Party has gained momentum since 1826 and it is largely seen as replacing the National-Liberty party. It is most popular in the south but has western supports as well. Itโs first election was the governor election in Tennessee which Andrew Jackson won. Itโs first representative to the house was a Georgia man George R. Gilmore. Populist ideas are growing more and more popular as many want voting rights expansion. Adams has played to this passing the โtax actโ which set a very low limit for how much states could tax polls. Adams also named new states from putting property requirements on there voting laws. The economy: while the panic for 1819 is still in effect it is largely died down and recovery under president Clinton has occurred Clinton did remain a fairly popular president with many especially northern support do to his economic policy. Clinton has passed several economic bills meant to help slow the panic such as the โregulation actโ which limited the national bank drastically and elevated state banks to regulate the economy and make it less centralized. Clinton has also rises tariffs since the 1821 tariff which was very low 8 percent. Clinton has passed the 1824 tax act which increased taxes on most goods which has remained unpopular. Clinton has invested large amounts of money into expansionist industry and American industrial capacity. This has helped especially with ship building industryโs and the city of Norfolk Virginia having grown by 13 percent since 1821. Clintonโs own internal improvements project has also been in progress although is set to be done before March 4th 1825 as the last of the Baltimore Cannel is set to be completed in December as is the NYC cannel. While the industrial projects and tarries have slowed the panic of 1819 the recovery has occurred it is still slow and not complete many expect the winer in 1824 the get the credit of ending the panic and finishing the recovery.
Foreign affairs: Former Secretary of State Adams and currently Secretary of State Crawford have both done large amounts of work in Europe to promote America as a strong nation and as a new power. In 1823 a treaty was signed with Russia and it normalized and made friendly relations with the Russian empire with free trade in Alaska and low coast for Russians to trade in American establishing a free trade agreement with Russia. In 1822-1824 Clinton sent out 4 major diplomatic mission to Europe with a few more going to secondary powers like Austria, Spain and Holland. Clinton has also sent missions to former Spanish America to establish a good reputation in the new nations and maybe trade with them so far Mexico and American relations are very good and Veracruz and New Orleans have become trade partnered cityโs. After a rough second term Marshall has declined to run for a third term and now the positions runs open in 1820. With no clear party o wining as the federalist still have a strong support base the the national-Liberal party having gained popular momentum it could have a grass routs moment and swing the election towards them.
Background:1815-1820
The panic of 1819 runs strong in the nation and after European trade feel in values as the post Napoleonic economyโs slowly recovered the south feel into economic turmoil and cotton exports collapsed and some traders in the south especially from Virginia and North Carolina have begun sending there extra cotton up north fueling a industrial revolution however the north trade actually increased as England bought more northern manufacturing goods but the collapse of trade was only one factor of the panic as the national bank and president Marshall spending caused the panic as a result Marshallโs pet project the national wide internal improvements slowed and by 1820 stoped completely. Marshall also limited federal spending and vetoed the banking regulations act. But this angered many republicans who want to pass it to regulate the bank so it canโt created another nation wide panic. Marshall orders the security of the treasury to put into effect a inflation bill that would curve handouts and stop the banks form giving out loans to investors. This is set to take effect in March 1821.
Foreign affairs:
With the slow in trade relations with European powers have strained especially France. However security of state John Quincy Adams repaired relations with France and signed off on a new trade agreement. Anglo American relations are odd right now as the fallout from the war of 1812 died down and relations resume as normal but some hostility still remains.
While not major diplomatic incidents have occurred in Marshall second term it is still a difficult time for foreign affairs as the post Napoleonic European is one with a power vacuum and the new nations of Latin America are still determining there national borders and identity.

But the treaty of Gent promoted American nationalism and expansion is territory while not greatly the us has gained full access to the Caribbean with Florida and the Bahamas. The war still remains a controversial issue even after it has ended as many republicans sys Marshall took peace before true victory could be established. But the federalist say the war was pointless anyway and only killed Americans.
The economy soon recovered quickly after the war as new trade flowed in and president Marshall was quick to act. With Marshall establishing a very low tariff to improve trade and lowering taxis right at the wars end. Marshall also established internal improvements and the postal system. A trade war over southern cotton is going on in post Napoleonic Europe as the south trades with more nations then England now as the bad blood between the two has caused trade impacts but now higher cotton prices has grown the southern economy but it has also grown the power of the planter. The north while going tore its own economy building due to national investment in urban manufacturing it has not grown as quickly or as suddenly.
After Napoleons rain over Europe came crashing down and the war in America ended. American foreign policy is in ruins as after the attack on Monroeโs life Franco American relations are in a tense spot and Anglo American relations are recovering although slowly. Thomas Pinckney: current Attorney general Pinckney is hoping to advance his political future with the vice presidency and wants to work with Marshall to become a adviser which he already serves the role as being a trusted cabinet member. I'm looking for bigger parties that officially endorse EU federalism or at least advocate for further integration. If some list like this already exists then it would be great if you linked it in the comments. I did some surface level research and constructed two lists. The first shows parties that openly advocate for federalism, the second shows the biggest and most pro-EU parties in each member state. During my research I stumbled upon europeelects.com, which has an overview of all parties represented in parliament in EU member states and EU neighbour states.
Overview of the parties: [https://europeelects.eu) Political compass for all parties in the EU: [https://europeelects.eu/european-union/)
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
First some notes:
1)The format is going to be as follows for the two lists First list: Country: party(% of votes in last election)(reps parliament/total reps parliament) (reps senate/total reps senate)
Second list: Country(total reps parliament/ total reps senate): party_1(reps parliament/reps senate), party_2(reps parliament/reps senate)
If there is no senate in that country it will be left out
I will generally aim to add only two parties in the second list, but occasionally I will add more. For example: In Spain I showed both parties from the current coalition, but the conservative PP is also pro-EU.
I will attempt to order the parties in the second list by level of EU support.
This list inherently runs on what parties claim themselves. I have done no research to find out how trustworthy or reliable their claims are.
Continuing on point 4. This is a good time as any to say that this is not an endorsement of any of these parties. It more of an inquiry of how popular pro-EU parties are around the member states. In this spirit I will also disclose my personal biases when constructing this list. I am a young university student from a middle class background. I would gauge myself economically centrist, but supportive of strong social polices, aimed at keeping a population healthy and productive, as well as supportive of taxation of goods producing negative externalities. Socially I am a liberal through and through. I tried keeping this objective, with the notable exception of Imperium Europa, but I am sure my bias has had a great effect on this list.

As Jeffersonโs second term came to a close many now compete for the 1808 election which is expected to be bitter and divided give the precarious state of the nation and the republican split.
Jeffersonโs second term having not gone to manyโs likening the nation is now meet with the possibility of war with England which has become a sharp diving line in the nations factions. The economy spiraling down due to panic of 1807 which has only gotten much worse.
Although Jefferson hasnโt been a complete failure as the Lewis and Clark exploration finished in 1806 and the west saw a massive upheaval in industry and a population boom. Republican expansion has also occurred although more minor then in his first term.
As well as a stronger national army and a more inter connected nation with more highways and river ways being built.
There are now 5 factions fighting for the presidency in 1808 and Jefferson believes that only a miracle would unite the nation and that has prompted many to want war with England as a way to unite the nation with vengeance for taking sailors. Although many believe the nation is not ready which has prompted war hawks to demand military expansion Although it has happened no one is satisfied with it.
John Marshall: The giant of the Supreme Court and a former representative from Virginia. Marshal is a strong federalist candidate and believes fully in Hamiltonian economics and increasing powers of the national bank. As well as internal improvements and a lower tariff. However Marshall is not opposed to Jeffersonian democracy and is in favor of โexpanding civic virtueโ as Jefferson puts it. Marshal hopes to unite the Federalist Party and stop Tory and republican control over congress. Many believe this election to decide wether or not the federalist will continue. Marshal runs a campaign on fixing the economy and undoing the de-centralization of the nation bank and โradicalโ. Jeffersonian expansion. Marshal also wants to expand the army and prepare for a possible conflict with England although he is opposed to war with England and wants to find a way out but has also said he will fight if necessary. Marshal wants to do many internal improvements and gather up national infrastructure which he believes will also help the economy recover.

Although the us is holding off at sea and holding back a potential invasion of the east coast. The economy has also gone into a uptick due partly from war production and recover from 1807. This has been a boost for Madison who needs any boast given his current unpopularity.
The banking act of 1810 was passed and it solidified control and powers of the national bank. It has the national bank have control of the state banks and monitor and control currency and inter state trade. While Madison and the republicans want to modify the act to be more moderate the Torys and federalist want to expand it. Believing it helped the recovery hasten. Madison has also removed the embargo act which was easily passed by both houses. Madison then lowered tariffs to help rebound trade which it did work although the war of 1812 hit trade hard hit although not completely and trade has increased with France and America. Madison has lowered taxis briefly but to found the war Madison has made a 6 percent alcohol tax and other taxis have increased to pay for soldiers needs and pay there wages. Madison has also relayed largely on his cabinet and commander of the army Dearborn for military matters.
In the war the us has not made very many gains, while the natives have been pushed out of Indiana and Illinois they still harass Harrisonโs supply rotes treating his survival. With large parts of his army under siege or flanked by milta Harrison is trying desperately to keep his supplyโs open and rebound on Detroit and take the river back. The us has also been pushed out of Canada after the battle of Quebec City. Which now William Hull is likely to loss his job as commander and be replaced. As the Americans have now been beaten by a smaller Canadian milta force. However success has been made in taking the Niagara river and securing Buffalo and Erie plus the us has held the Royal Navy off at sea. Jefferson also limited the army with the โarms act of 1801โ Jefferson however has maintained the current order for the frontier and native relations. With Harrison being president of the north west territory some however has liken him to the king of the north west due to a lack of power balance in the territory.
Mississippi territory was also created under Jefferson after splint off from Georgia it also included the new Yazoo county. Jeffersonโs has also vetoed many internal improvements however some federalist and Torys over got it passed without the presidents approval but Jeffersonโs still hopes that improvements can be state matter and that mass improvements will be leading to to strong a government.
Jefferson also took down the Barbary pirates in north Africa making it the first us show of might. Overseas it was a easy victory however it has made the navy overconfident.
Jeffersonโs security of state Arron Burr and French foreign Munster Talleyrand negotiated the Louisiana purchase which rubbles the size of the nation and the prestige of the Democratic-Republicans. But it comes with the problem of controlling the territory as well which Jefferson has not fully worked out.

The democratic republicans have overwhelming supported Jeffersonโs and renominated him unanimously. With no one in the Republican Party running against him and extreme popularity most believe Jefferson with easily win a second term.
