A list of puns related to "Monta Loma, Mountain View"
Edit: I have been snooping around in this sub for a while and finally wanted to make a post after realizing my anger and sadness for my uncle was valid. This was in August of 2020. He got his diagnosis January of that year and continued working until mid 2020 even after getting surgery because he wanted to do his best to provide for his wife (my aunt-in-law) and their son (my cousin). He was on FMLA and his condition continued to worsen and deteriorated as his cancer has began to metastasize to everywhere in his body including his brain. He was in a lot of pain in the hospital and just two days before he passed, Kroger let him know he was fired and it made him pretty sad. Rest in peace Bac Tam, we will always love and remember you.
Edit 2: I did not expect this to blow up as it did and Iβm very grateful for all the support I received and feel less alone. From reading the comments, Iβm starting to feel really bad for not clarifying things further. He worked as a machine operator in Kroger Mountain View foodsβs milk plant. He did get fired when his vacation, sick leave, FMLA had been used up; which had been used so that he can get surgery as well as chemotherapy. He got surgery towards the beginning of finding out his diagnosis but returned to work as soon as he was able to so that he could maintain his job. That was only until the extent where he could no longer go to work because he started to be in a lot of pain and started getting blurry vision while commuting to his workplace. He was hospitalized shortly after. His termination was on the basis that he didnβt return to work when his FMLA expired as he was laying on his deathbed. The reason why I am angry and sad is because he dedicated a lot of years and worked really hard to finally realize on his deathbed, that his job did not give a single flying fuck about him. He was devastated and cried when he found out they had fired him. He even had held off taking morphine even though he was in massive amounts of pain (until he found out he got fired), in hopes he would somehow get better and be able to work again and take care of his family. But him getting fired - to him, it was like the final nail in the coffin and he gave up his will to live. I may be biased because this was my only maternal uncle but this was the nicest dude in the world. I loved him and it hurt seeing him so sad because of what happened. He got fired on a Monday and died that Wednesday. I wanted to make this post because I wanted everyo
... keep reading on reddit β‘Looking to take some peaceful trips this year to some US locations where we can find 420 friendly Airbnbs or similar (indoor or outdoor). Trick is Iβd like water or mountain views. I visualize smoking a bowl and curling up in a cozy chair to wonder at the view out the window.
I feel like Iβve exhausted my search!
Also, if anyone has other tips on 420 travel leave them here! Iβll start with comments from my first trip to a 420 Friendly resort in Jamaica last month.
