Was the 2005-15 Mitsubishi L200/Triton the last extended cab pickup with only 2 doors?

Or were there other global mid-size trucks that still had a doorless cab design after it?

2015 Mitsubishi Triton (Rural Australia) - white paint- can't get brown/yellow dots off during a wash. On paint and windows. Please help.

I don't have covered parking for my truck so it's permanently outside. I've recently moved to Central West NSW and since then, I've had these dots appear on my car. They're only on the upward facing surfaces, mainly bonnet, windscreen and roof. I have tried bug&tar remover but that only made it stain, I tried car wash soap, dish soap, baking soda. The dots are incredibly hard and stubborn. I can scratch it off with my nail but obv I don't want to do that to my whole car.

Any suggestions on what can remove the brown/yellow dots?

Mitsubishi Triton - Dealership cannot fix the issue (and are charging me constantly!)

Hi all - this has been an incredibly stressful situation and any advice would be much appreciative.

In July 2020 I bought a second hand Mitsubishi Triton (2012, 123***kms, great condition, 16,000) in a private sale. I had stateroads check the car completely and it came back fine.

A month and a half later the car went into limp mode and the engine light came on. This happened a few more times so I took it to my local Auto Electrician, who replaced a part (Camshaft Sensor), but the fault was still there. My mechanic replaced another part (Crankshaft sensor) but the fault remained, so I took it to the local Mitsubishi Dealership.

  1. They were given the car for a week in February. They returned the car stating "your car is in perfect working order, and we can't find any issues, but we tightened some harnesses so it should be okay." It faulted after driving it less than 500m the following day.
  2. Mitsubishi had this car in for work intermittently between Feb and the start of April. During this time they refused to offer me a hire car, even after they put a hole in my radiator (they replaced this) and still couldn't fix the issue. After charging me close to $1000 and with no fix in sight, I spoke to the service manager after it faulted again. They took the car back on the 6th of April.
  3. I called them twice a week (which my calls were never returned, or rarely) and they gave me no information. I went through consumer protection and finally found out that a new manager had started and they had found the solution to my car. I had told Consumer Protection I just wanted my car fixed and I didn't want to pay any more money (as I was out $1000), which they agreed I was being reasonable. Finally, this week (7th of May) I was told my car was ready to pick up. I spoke to the new manager who said I still had to pay (another $250) but that he was confident my car was fine. As he was driving my car out for me, it stalled (its an automatic), which was one of the issues I had it in for. He claimed that he may have stalled it and he was absolutely sure it was not the car faulting again as "the check engine light wasn't on". It stalled once on my way home and then faulted AGAIN before I made it home (the dealership is roughly 12km from my house."

I'm at my wits end. Am I entitled to compensation from Mitsubishi if they can't fix the issue? Do I still have to pay them for more "attempts to fix it" and am I entitled for a full reimbursement of the money I have paid?
