I see a lot of potential in the Shortcut Guide Overlay feature. Just make it customizable, so that we can create, share and load in custom shortcuts.
The tool could recognize which application is active (like it already does I guess) and show the associated overlay for Photoshop, Chrome, Gmail/Outlook, Visual Studio Code etc.
It also would be nice to be able to change it up to different windows shortcuts (navigating the file explorer, renaming files etc.) and to remove shortcuts we already know by heart or wouldnt use at all.
Im on the search for such a tool for ages now.
I'm looking for a distro using either of those DEs where I can optionally tile my windows in a simple way. I quite like FancyZones, and I like the PopOS tiling, but I don't really like Gnome very much. I want to switch to a KDE-based distro or Lubuntu, and tiling would be a major plus
Is there some utility or even an inbuilt function in either DE whereby I would be able to tile my windows?
Specs - Windows 11 Version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.282)
Whenever I try to install apps like Discord, PowerToys or Adobe Reader from the Microsoft Store it says "We can't install this app right now. In the Library, check for updates from the Microsoft Store, then try again." Clicking on show details reads "Reporting this problem will help us understand better . You can wait a bit and try again or restart your device. That might help. Code: 0x8D050002 "
Tried restarting, WSreset, cleared data and cache, reset the app; didn't work.
It had no error for a friend of mine who has Adobe Reader from the Store.
Edit - When I click on retry a small message says "Something happened on our end." located at the bottom of the Retry button and goes behind the button and disappears.

I have seen posts in the past of other people transitioning to Ubuntu from Windows 10. I personally have a multiscreen/orientation set up to have multiple code editors open at once. I use to use a really cool tool called PowerToys on Windows more specifically because of their Fancy Zones.
After months of searching, I found a good alternative called "gTile" https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/28/gtile/
It is very similar in that you just use a hotkey combination and get an interface that allows you to manage your window size.
Hi guys! So I use PowerToys to change key mapping on my keyboard but for some reason it stops working the moment I launch Red Dead Redemption 2 via Steam and starts working again when I quit the game. Not sure why this is happening but would appreciate some help. Thanks!

- You might be prompted to install .NET core, do it.
- Open "PowerToys" from Start Menu.
Goto \"Keyboard Manager\" then \"Remap keys\"
Click on \"+\" symbol under \"Key:\".
Click NitroSense key on your keyboard, which will be shown as \"Undefined\". Click \"OK\"
press \"backspace\" key on your keyboard, then pressed \"OK\"
we are done. Click on blue \"OK\" button on top.
click \"Continue Anyway\". We can access NitroSense from start menu.
We are done, check by pressing NitroSense key.
We can edit/modify or remove this mapping anytime.
