Hi guys,

I have an original box edition with a cd of MS office for home users - 2007. Inside the box there is the key.

On my new msi laptop I have no cd drive.

How do I install it then?

Before I install it on my new MSI, do I have to unistall it from the old one...the one that still had the CD drive ;)

I am not very computer literate, hence me asking ;)

Deleting residual Microsoft Office 2007 files

Hi All,

I've made the shift to Ubuntu very recently from being a hardcore Windows user and am still currently settling down with the new workflow.

I had previously installed Microsoft Office 2007 with PlayonLinux but to some reason even after uninstalling playonlinux, a few of these icons although non functional are still there. How do I get rid of them completely?

Move Microsoft Office 2007 from Old Laptop to a New Laptop?

No idea if this is the right spot to post this so I truly apologize if this is inappropriate.

I recently got a new laptop to replace the laptop I have been using for over a decade. I am not interested in buying another microsoft office when I already own Microsoft Office 2007 ( i'm not cheap,,,,i'm trying to save up for my first car. ) My new laptop does not have a disc port to download MS 2007, though. What are my options?

Can I connect the laptops with a double-sided USB to transfer MS 2007? Or with ethernet cable?

Can I transfer MS 2007 onto a USB stick WITHOUT burning it from the disc?

I have the case & key code for MS 2007 but I cannot find the disc in my house, ahahaha. I need to look more. But, I am wondering if I can transfer it from the old laptop to my new laptop.

TIL because of Calibri's status as the default font in MS Office, there has been many instances of forged documents being identified because this font was used. A Canadian business owner facing bankruptcy typed 2 trust documents dated before Calibri's release in 2007, exposing them as forged. arstechnica.com/gadgets/2…
