A list of puns related to "Michael Kiske"
I just tried Spotify though. But the only way to listen to this record is buying an old copy on ebay or via Youtube.
Does anyone have any insight on this former Helloween vocalist?
In this interview he calls himself a christian, but also makes an off comment about βthatβs just what the church saysβ when responding to the interviewerβs comment about Jesus being alive 2000 years ago. https://www.metalblast.net/interviews/michael-kiske-interview-of-gods-and-metal/
Some of his lyrics seem very christian, such as the ones you can see towards the end of this page (not all these songs written by Kiske) https://www.metalreviews.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6124&start=40
And then thereβs this YouTube video. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yn0woaWVRHw
The person who posted it seemingly believes themself to be a reptilian shapeshifter, and it appears they have a crush on Kiske, so theyβre biased towards defending him. Thereβs a lot of weird nonsensical commentary the video poster throws in, but the video clips presented are very insightful. It seems a strong case could be made for post-Kiske era Helloween being satanic.
However, recently Kiske returned to Helloween and they used a pagan, 7-pointed star as their main symbol when touring.
It almost seems to me like Kiske wanted to make the band christian, but met a lot of resistance and was forced to leave the band. His lyrics were never really that boldly christian (not like Stryper or Theocracy), but maybe he wasnβt allowed to make them stronger? In one of his songs he almost dares to say βJesus Christβ but just says βJ.C.β
My theory is that heβs like one of the many modern βchristians of convenienceβ whose idea of god is not necessarily based on gospel.
