A list of puns related to "Men in nursing"
. . . To keep them from rolling over and falling off the bed. Kick stand.
It is a shared room with dividers but the other patient still doesn't want me in there.
Edit: Jesus this blew up. Just an update, we complained to the head nurse on our way to a different hospital. We are only going back there if our son is born <35 weeks as he would most likely be transferred there.
Also to clarify I didn't want to take it out on the nurses as they were paused outside the door for a couple of minutes and I'm guessing the lady was being a thorn in her side. The job is probably hard enough without 2 thorns lol.
Also also as you may have figured out I'm not a doctor but my girlfriend is not in labor. From what I understand early contractions are a semi common problem and the other Hospital gave her a couple of shots to stop the contractions and let our son cook for a little bit longer.
It's so disheartening. The ones they are making fun of the most are a couple homeless people who came in with burns. Before they even brought them back here they were saying it must be a Breaking Bad situation. They were seriously like a group of mean girls in high school laughing and mocking. I'm so disgusted...and triggered.
I understand that it is a ruthless job and nurses need to vent...but do it in private where patients can't hear!
Updates:
Apparently the lady in room 1a doesn't like being called "sweetie" and thus she deserves to be made fun of. They even admitted to dismissing her in the room by answering her with, "Most people like to be called sweetie." I've heard the stupid story three times now as it was retold to various people.
Two rooms down from me has "gross, smelly, frizzy hair".
The homeless folks with burns have tested positive for COVID.
There is seriously no patient privacy in this hospital.
Just a quick question for nursing students - is it extremely hard to get a 4.0 in nursing or can it be done with hard work. Want to use it as a premed and Iβm seeing everywhere that itβs pretty to keep a good gpa throughout the degree. Any help is appreciated
