A list of puns related to "Mediacorp"
I wonder what the last few days will bring.
The BBC is known for its coverage of the Olympics by providing live streams for every event. Due to broadcast rights, the BBC had to strip back on coverage and were not able to cover every event live.
This makes Mediacorpβs coverage of the 2020 Olympics this year exceptional. There were 14 live streams available on MeWatch, Singtel and StarHub to allow people to catch every event live for free. If anyone missed an event, people can catch up on MeWatch.
The Paralympics will start Tuesday. I expected the coverage of the Olympics will be as extensive as the Paralympics. However, the coverage of the Paralympics will be much more limited than the Olympics. While there were 14 live streams for the Olympics, only Channel 5 will carry the Paralympics live.
This is the FAQ answer for the Olympics
> Viewers can catch Β Opening and Closing Ceremonies and the sporting action from Tokyo 2020 LIVE and on-demand across up to 14 dedicated channels on meWATCH.
This is the FAQ answer for the Paralympics
> The Opening and Closing Ceremonies and selected coverage of Team Singapore events will also be available Β on Channel 5.
Limiting the number of live streams available will significantly reduce the number of events one can watch live. When there is a stark difference in terms of coverage, it sends a strong message that disabled athletes donβt deserve as much media attention as non-disabled athletes.
It is also extremely hypocritical for a media company that claims to support disabled people through initiatives such as the Enable fund, they canβt even be bothered to provide disabled athletes the same media coverage as normal athletes.
CBC in Canada plans to provide up to 12 events every day. Meanwhile, this is what Channel 4, the broadcaster of the Paralympics in the UK said
> Every sport that is available live will be shown live
At this stage, it will not be possible to increase coverage. But as Mediacorp looks towards Paris 2024, I hope they will reevaluate their position on covering the Paralympics.
I used to watch a tamil horror shorts series in mediacorp vasantham central. I cant remember what is the name of the show but i do remember one of episode's story.
It will be about a couple who live in a old house right next to each other(neighbors) and they will be playing knocking everyday π (thin wall I guess). Then the lady will pass away due to some issue but the guy still receive the knocking every night or something like that.
Did my research couldn't find it. Help me out folks.
Appreciate the help.
Just say MediaCorp decides to remake one of their old shows (they have to be off air for quite some time now) but with new actors and changing up the premise a little bit. Which show would you pick and why?
Was watching Netflix recently and really feeling a sense of nostalgia watching stuff like the Unbeatables.
Interested to know everyone's opinions...
Does anyone still watch channel 8 dramas now? Just wondering or is everyone watching netflix haha

Interview Transcript
Chris Mark: Any goals that you've set out for yourselves?
Josh Dun: Probably three billion views.
CM: I'm pretty sure it's going to hit three billion at some point.
Josh Dun: Well, then I wonder how many of those views are from youβ¦
CM: Josh, first of all, thank you so much for being here, Iβm a huge fan. Shy Away, came out not too long ago. Can you share the writing process about this track? Like how did you guys come about to write this one?
Josh Dun: The technical process - I would have a little stand, put my phone on there and have Tyler on FaceTime, and then we would Zoom, kind of screen share each other's screens, and kind of just have conversations about the song. And then I would just record drums at my studio, at my house. And we really were just, you know, it was him alone in a room working and me alone in my room working and it actually was a lot of fun doing it that way.
CM: I'm sure you're aware that your music video for Stressed Out is at two billion views. I mean, joining the Billion Club on YouTube is already an elite club, but you guys are at TWO BILLION. How do you feel about that?
Josh Dun: I can't really believe it and I've been on the viewing end of it. I learned how to play drums on YouTube, like, I literally would just watch performances of my favorite drummers and then kind of learn how to play from that. Understanding the power of that website and the reach, it kind of makes it even more special and important for me. Realizing that many people have been involved in being a part of this band in one way or another, the fans of this band, the power that they hold, it's pretty special.
CM: Now you guys are Grammy Award winners, you've been topping the charts all around the world. What is next for you guys? I mean, it seems like you've already accomplished what most artists out there would want to accomplish in their careers.
Josh Dun: When Tyler and I first met and we started having conversations and kind of shared our own personal goals and visions for ourselves, as musicians, as artists, and as a band we were on the same page about everything. From the beginning, we had pretty big dreams and for a while, I felt maybe a little
