A list of puns related to "Massive Attack discography"
Really love that song, and potentially like others, thought that song wouldn't be a standout black sheep compared to the euro trip hop that comprised their first 3 CD's (haven't listened past Mezzanine). Their music is good, however it was not what I was looking for in regards to something like Teardrop.
Based on a post by u/wavesoftheocean sharing someoneβs elseβs advice to put more into the church to get more out of it, I thought Iβd share an experience of where that kind of thinking gets you.
My BIL was called as the fist councilor of his ward a year or so ago. The timing aligned with a new job that he took. He also has four kids, two of which are really hyperactive. Naturally, his stress built up as time progressed with his professional responsibilities and his church responsibilities. This was further compounded by a major strain in his marriage because he was never home and his wife is burned out.
He went to the bishop and said the demands in his life are just too much. The bishop promised him if heβd put his calling first heβd be blessed and everything else would take care of itself.
Well, it hasnβt. Yesterday he had a complete panic attack/mental breakdown. Heβs not doing well at work, and despite his wife being a TBM, sheβs struggling at home and desperately needs help with the kids.
The idea of getting blessed through more loyalty is toxic. This poor guy thinks heβs doing something wrong and likely wonβt abandon his calling. Heβs also getting praise from his parents because he attained this calling at such a young age and heβll have big leadership roles in the future.
The only thing that will give is his job. Heβll have to find something else that is more flexible, but that could stress them financially. Itβs so, so sad.
...what other artists might I like?
I've been feeling quite stressed, and burnt out, so... I need some nice, grounding music. I'm looking for cruisy, relaxing funk, so, as much as I do like BjΓΆrk, I'm going to rule her out.
Editing to add that I'm going to slowly work my way through everyone's suggestions, and apologise in advance for taking time to reply... So far, Fila Brazillia are pretty bang on!
Second edit: Wow! So many suggestions!! Thanks, everyone!!!
It's probably going to take me a while to get through everything... I've woken up feeling like absolute garbage today, so have gotten tested for the plague. I'm probably going to spend the rest of the day chilling out, watching anime with my doggo, in between naps!
I did listen to a few of the suggestions yesterday... It was great rediscovering Zero 7, especially! I can't believe that I'd forgotten about them!!
I used to listen to Zero 7, Groove Armada and Moloko YEARS ago...!
30 million hits against Saitamask per second is what people are now reporting. This is definitely a large scale coordinated attack. And these people behind this are messing with all of our money.
Hang tight wolf pack. This will end and Saitama will be ok.
Here is the twitter post I made calling him out:

I have sold over 400 records locally in the last couple years and have yet to receive a complaint or refund request. I use the Goldmine Standard, with one caveat; Near Mint albums were purchased new by me and may not have been played. As you may know, not all pressings are as flawless as we would hope. I am happy to play test upon request and report back.
Pressing details/pics available upon request. The only bootleg in my collection is noted so please do not ask about the others. PRICES IN CAD. PayPal deducts 3.7% for US -> Canada transactions, + 30c. These fees will be added to every sale price.
Shipping from Vancouver, Canada with proper mailers. Local pick-ups more than welcome. If you pay in advance I can also hold them for as long as you like.
In Canada rates have been about $15 - $35 for regular post (~8 days) depending where you are. Can also ship Xpresspost (3 day guarantee) starting around $35. Note: "Guarantees" from Canada Post have supposedly not been met consistently during the pandemic so I strongly advise regular post at this time.
US shipping appears to be $25 minimum, up to $40 or so depending where youΒ΄re located. $100 insurance included, 2 week ETA. Tracking $5 extra. Through Canada Post.
International rates will have to be discussed (hoping that is OK per sub guidelines). Canada Post will be rather expensive and I have not yet shipped using courier companies. If/when the border reopens (without COVID testing requirements) I may be able to hop over and ship using USPS, but be prepared to wait if you choose this option.

It took MONTHS for apes to realise that DRS was the way and to overcome the FUD around DRS. Now most every ape agrees that DRS plays an important part for apes in the quest to destroy the shorts once and for all.
Options have gone through a very similar cycle albeit longer but the truth always gets out, especially when it comes to GME. The truth finds a way.
Now the tide is turning for options, the past week the Charles Gradante vid seemed to be a tipping point and the FUD around options has been realised by more and more apes to be extremely flawed. Common sense is prevailing, more and more apes are realising that Options are not simply something to write off as something negative for apes. It isn't BLACK and WHITE like the anti options shills and people who don't properly understand options make out. Calls bought at ATM and near ITM for dates Far enough after KNOWN FTD covering periods that are approaching are a super POWERFUL weapon for the apes that have the know how or are willing to learn.
For me it has been a slow build up over the past few months of learning more and more about options to where I now see their importance and understand them to a good level. The GRadante vid solidified everything for me. This is what makes being an ape over the last year so awesome besides the potential of MOASS and the incredible community, the learning. I can confidently say I have learned more from the DD here in the last year than you would in most 4 year college degrees that cost 10s of thousands. Probably multiple degrees.
Dispelling options as too hard or difficult for apes to learn is one of the most common anti options FUD. Think how much we've already learned about the market and its mechanics, options are just another chapter to read. Don't sell your selves short apes, take your time and don't jump into anything until you understand what you're doing and the risks, but don't write such a big market component off as too hard to learn after all you've learned in the past year.
And if you don't want to learn and are happy Buying, Holding and DRSing that's completely cool too, that is still extremely important. Just don't shit on options if you don't know what you're talking about, scaring off other apes who might want to learn and unwittingly helping the anti options shills.
Make no mistake, the swell in positive, common sense options talk is real and it is terrifying the shorts and their shills. More apes buying calls at smart dates like feb 18 and Ma
