I asked in /r/Europe already but I'm still confused, what's the best way to get to the Lofotr Viking Museum? Look's like its only by bus twice a day maybe.
I'm going to be going to be stopping over in Iceland for a week from Edmonton, and then starting my Europe journey in Norway. I've been trying to figure out the best way to get there from Evenes, since that's the closest I can get a flight to. From what I read it looks like there is a bus that goes from Evenes to there twice a day? By the time I finally get to Norway that museum will only be open wednesdays and saturdays so it looks like I've got a pretty limited window to get there. Is it also still possible to sail on a Viking ship in MosjΓΈen? I'm just not really sure what to do without this getting super expensive and doing some backtracking.
I was thinking fly to Evenes, hopefully somehow manage to get the bus to the museum, or stay the night somewhere, somehow get to the museum in its 3 hour window, and then go to Leknes and either fly or take the ferry to Bodo and either go for a ride on that viking ship or I guess start taking the train south and maybe visiting Trondheim or somewhere else before I go to Oslo.

British museums are full of stuff we stole from other nations, which is bad. However if I went to a Viking or Pirate exhibition and it wasn't full of stolen stuff I'd be very disappointed.
