A list of puns related to "List of Sony Ericsson products"
So my friends and family are calling me out and hating me for quitting the smartphone life but I'm gonna carry on. I'm buying a lot(7) of Sony Ericssons. One of them is the k800i. The legendary phone that gives me tears of nostalgia when I think about it.
There's actually 2 of them in the set, and a k810i. I will have enough phones for the upcoming 30+ years :D.
I still have an old f305 aswell. It was such an awesome device, and it still is.
Is anyone else here obsessed with the looks of thse old phones? I love talking about them too much haha!
Hello my good people, i come here to hopefully find some help with this device. Its a sony ericsson sk17i that was in the shelve for some years, i tinkered with it long time ago and i remember that the flash process went wrong (now i cant even enter in the recovery mode)... now i tried to boot it but its hardbricked im afraid, I cant flash anything... it just boots, says sony and goes to a white triangle with a exclamation mark in the middle and the phone laying down beneath it. Can you help me please? I pretend to use it as a mp3 player since its small and has a headphone jack. Thanks in advance and i wish you all a nice week.
I genuinely think that Sony Ericsson phones never received the credit they deserved. They were first to many things, and they made some amazing phones back then. I started my phone journey from a used W350i and I kept using many of the Sony Ericsson phones until I got my first iPhone. Some of those amazing phones I used were:
W350i
Yari (u100i) (one of the finest feature phones I ever used)
Hazel (yes, with WiFi)
Xperia Active (yes, that waterproof wonder coconut)
Xperia Ray (slim design like the new sony phones)
I always wanted to try w950i and k850.
I am sure not all changes in phone industry were good, and some of the best are still in the past. Apart from their slightly less battery life, Sony Ericsson phones were a bliss to use!
Edit: thank you stranger for the award!
I can remember there may have also have been a version of pong that came pre-installed too. And one other game I canβt remember.
Still looks great and works perfectly, but you know...older tech, so I would love to know what I could do with it, as it is just so adorable! Any ideas?
I bought this used W995 in an okay condition because i was really looking forward to playing some j2me games again, and i specifically went for this model because it has a large screen, and at one point, was the flagship phone for the walkman series of phones.
Pretty much every game i tried has lackluster performance, even in some 2d games, and everything tanks once the sound is enabled, however even with it disabled, most 3D games lag, and some 2d ones, games like brick breaker revolution 3D are completely unplayable, the visuals have from what it seems, garbled colors, and under 5 fps gameplay at all times, regardless of sound setting.
I tried making some research and someone told me that it perhaps might be a faulty or glitched firmware of sorts, but going down the rabbit hole of firmware flashing is a nightmare as all sites i've found are shady as all hell, and some require you to pay them a sum to flash your phone, or have you downloading weird software that often seems to trigger false positives just to reinstall my firmware.
I'm completely at a loss, and i'm thinking i've gotten a completely useless w995
