A list of puns related to "List of Empire ships (ThโTy)"
I mean, apart of the current shenanigans with material requirements or the fact they are LP store related. it feels like their lack of performance (except for a few outliners) is more of the result of having an outdated design philosophy.
We got a rebalance of these ships as part of the 2010-2012 or so tiericides which brought the end of ships being based on tiers and instead tried to give a significant role to fullfill to them.
the end result was the whole T2 = specialized, T3 = generalist, Faction = upgrade over T1 thingy but Faction in particular seems to have gotten into polar oposites. Whereas Navy ships ended feeling subpar in at least half of the ship classes of their roster, Pirates ships just wen sky high in popularity because of their gimmicks.
I didnt really bother thinking about that in the past but now that take a look at it, the way these ships were handled feel really off to be honest. like they got all these different traits when implemented just for the sake of being different when it would have been miles better to just make them an upgraded version of their T1 counterparts with an included shared bonus with all the other ships in their respective military origin.
Same applies to Pirate and Non Empire hulls, all of them got these out of the hat gimmicks that feel out ot touch with the feel of the NPCs. you dont see Serpentis rats applying OP webs on your ship, you see them applying Sensor Dampening but somehow the playable Serpentis ships have this weird fetish about 90% strength webs. if anything they should have been reworked for being a hybrid of Combat + EWAR with an approach different to T3Cs or EAFs/Recons.
it doesnt make sense lore and gameplay wise, if the Pirates make heavy use of Electronic Warfare and Movility Disruption then their ships should reflect that. On the other side of the coin the military might of the empires should have some kind of strat that makes them shine on the battlefield and all their ships should reflect that design doctrine instead of being each one a sort of special snowflake. its kind of inmersion breaking.
I never fly the Reaper, Inq Tie, and only flew the bombers on 1 list. I put them all on a list and I think it could have potential.
Any feedback or tweaks appreciated, thanks.

Ok so I just got in to Star Wars: Edge of the Empire and me and my friends are at the point were we are trying to decide what type of ship we want and have come to the conclusion that we need something we can live in long term but not to big as we need to keep a low profile we need room for 6 people and an astral mech.
I'm fairly new an want to use what I have. I'm also looking at getting a sk Striker soon.

In the time I've been playing this game I've seen and heard many reasons why people claim I shouldn't have sank them, and that the act of sinking them was toxic. I feel it necessary to provide a comprehensive list of reasons why I might sink a ship.
Please feel free to comment your own reasons why you might sink a ship.
Edit: It seems some people somewhat misread my intent with this post. This was essentially a post intent on saying one thing. You can sink anyone you want for any reason you want. Playing the game and using the tools Rare has laid out to us is not toxic. The literal only reason I might find sinking someone toxic is if you're fully aware they're on a tall tale with no loot and you've went out of your way to target them.
Additionally, it's been brought to my attention a similar format to this post has been used before in AbsolutePixel's video. Worth a watch.
Other than the ISD.
And Iโm not counting the Nebulon B since the Rebels pretty much hijacked them so much to where itโs more recognized under their service.
Museum ships are a bit easier to look up and so are memorials, but artifacts and exhibits are a bit harder to look up. For example, I didn't know about Hood's bell or Prinz Eugen's propeller until late last year, so I'm counting on your help to help make the list as complete as possible. My only requirement is that you include he link to an official site as part of the submission (Wikipedia submissions and links to other Reddit posts are not automatically rejected but they need an official source).
Here's what we have so far...

If your defense is ahead of your offense, if you haveย anythingย at all that was not maxed before upping your town hall or caught up since,ย including all heroes troops and spells, please join the Sheer Force (below) to "war while fixing" where we can get to know you. This is for fair war matching at our flag ship location where we love exciting wars matching skilled enemy clans!
We love frustrated recruits, because that means you care!
We are a nice crew that are crazy about war, are serious about our fun, and know we can rely on each other to work together.
Our clans are super friendly, supportive and fun, but very casual players would not enjoy it and should look for a better fit. But if you have the war bug and appreciate a few insanely effective rules, you found good company!!!
Many of us have worked together for years and came up with a few rules that really work and we believe in! We have active Cos who work with anyone who will work with us. Several used to lead clans.
We finish clan games every time, often the first day... And just... keep... going. Because we are really into maxing just everything. War maps, Offense, Walls, Clan Games, everything (except maybe builder base ๐)
Clan War League options (for our warriors only)
We have clans in Champs Masters Crystal Gold & Silver.
We don't like just leaving out lower accounts that want CWL so we have teams with TH size matched to league.
Don't expect to CWL with us if you want to just farm and take up space causing us to have smaller wars.
We CWL with people who have proved they are dependable in war.
We arent making hay here
Farmers & Casual players would enjoy a better fit some where else.
We have no farm clan anywhere in our group.
We are all constant war lovers who do everything we can to not have to sit out of war. We reserve magic for things that would keep us out of war like spell factories and even upgrade heroes between wars.

What special edition ships are out there that I'm missing from the list below?
Note that I'm interested in standalone ships, meaning they can have a separate build profile (ship mods, commander, camo) that is distinct from the "regular" version (e.g. Atlanta and Atlanta B), such that you essentially own 2 of the same ship. In contrast, I'm not counting skins like Hot Racer, Freedom Fighter, Urashima, or Space Gearing because they're just permacamos rather than ship models.
Alpha (A)
Founder's Edition (FE)
Blue Sky (BS)
Black Ships (B)
Godzilla vs Kong
Azur Lane (AL) (Are these all distinct ships or are some of them just permacamos?)
Warhammer (I know the models are based off of ships, but seems like the stats make them different enough to be more than just reskins, right?)
Arpeggio (Assume these are similar to Warhammer in that they're based off current ships but have significant enough stat differences to be considered more than reskins?)
Transformers (These are all camos/skins; there aren't any actual ships, right?)
