The kidnapping phase of this should have been a bigger deal than it was. Iβve tried to look into and there is lots of conspiracies and dead links. I donβt want to get into those. Iβm just making an observation.
If this kidnapping was believed IMO the following would have happened:
The Ramseys would have been under armed guard at a secret location. Yes that means Burke also. John interrogated immediately.
Lockheed Martin executives and their families would be under lockdown.
The FBI would have taken over by 6:15 am.
The neighbors would have been woken up, questioned. Dogs, helicopters with searchlights. And search the house obviously. Fingerprints. The βkidnappersβ already knew the police were involved so that wasnβt hidden. Or not so obvious but under the guidance of trained FBI.
No friends or victim advocates obviously.
Any response but having a lone detective manning the phone.
BPD should have been sent away. The body was not found for hours.
This was a potential terror threat. I think this was never believed to be a real kidnapping. This is a wealthy family - this could been real.
All very suspicious.
EDIT TO ADD: for those who donβt already know Lockheed Martin is a defense contractor. Access Graphics is owned by them

New York Giants
Out: GM Dave Gettleman, OC Freddie Kitchens (Interim)
In: GM Dave Ziegler, OC Adam Stenavich
Fans have been unhappy with Gettleman for years, and it seems like ownership is finally catching up. The Maras also seem content with holding on to former Patriots ST Coach Joe Judge as their locker room leader. If that is the case, it makes sense to bring in somebody Judge is already familiar with in Ziegler, the current Patriots' Director of Player Personnel. The 44-year-old is a Patriot through and through. He was college teammates with Nick Caserio (who he replaced following Caserio's move to Houston) and Josh McDaniels (under whom he was a scout in Denver). He has cut his teeth under Belichick, spending the last 9 years in the scouting department in New England. In his first year without the "assistant" being tagged onto his job title, Ziegler added key free agents in Kendrick Bourne, Matt Judon, and Hunter Henry. He also oversaw one of the best draft classes in recent Patriot history with Mac Jones a favorite to win ROTY on top of inspiring play from Christian Barmore and Rhamondre Stevenson.
In addition to Ziegler, Packers' OL Coach Adam Stenavich joins as the new offensive coordinator. A bit of an unknown name, Stenavich is a former NFL player that has really made the most of his coaching opportunities. With Green Bay, he has overseen a revolving door of elite late round picks at OL, from Corey Linsley to David Bakhtiari to Yosh Nijman. In 2021, the Packers have seen countless injury along the line yet still have maintained an elite unit. Prior to Green Bay, Stenavich was on Shanahan's staff in San Francisco, coaching the likes of Joe Staley, Mike McGlinchey, and Weston Richburg. While Stenavich is unproven as a playcaller, he has worked under two of the best young offensive minds in the game. On top of his promising resume, his area of expertise is one the Giants desperately need help with. Other than Andrew Thomas, the Giants' OL has been an endless pile of poop covered garbage.
Chicago Bears
Out: GM Ryan Pace, HC Matt Nagy, OC Bill Lazor, DC Sean DeSai
In: GM Ed Dodds, HC Leslie Frazier, OC Darrell Bevell, DC Jeff Howard

With the buzz that guys like Leslie Frazier (21-32-1 in MIN), Dan Quinn (44-42 in ATL), and Todd Bowles (24-40 in NYJ) have gotten, I thought I'd take a look at how retreads of previous failures perform in new environments. A narrative is often painted negatively on these coaches: "Why would I want Leslie Frazier when he was terrible with the Vikings?". Just as much so, a positive narrative is also told: "Todd Bowles has been through this before. He has learned a lot since his days with the Jets". Which of these narratives holds more true?
I took a look at every man that has held a non-interim HC job since 2000 and determined whether that coach was a retread of a failure. That is, before this coach was hired here, was he fired from another NFL HC job where he went .500 or worse? This is every coach from best to worst record with their second/third teams.
Bill Belichick: 36-44 with CLE (1991-95), 254-98 with NE (2000-Present)
Let's start with the cream of the crop. Billy B had a rough go in Cleveland. He was hired after 6 years under Parcells as the DC, a stretch that saw the Giants never dip below a top 10 defense and concluded with back to back top 2 scoring units. He did have a playoff win in his 4th season as HC, but Belichick was fired after a 5-11 season that saw the Browns go on a 1-7 run to close out the year. It was his 4th losing season in 5 years. The Browns then moved to Baltimore.
Of course, all of that is fairly forgotten in the Belichick narrative. Belichick did have two separate stints as the Jets' HC, but compiled a 0-0 record after coaching a grand total of 0 games for the team. He would go on to win 6 Superbowls with the Patriots and become a pretty decent coach.
Gary Kubiak: 61-64 with HOU (2006-13), 21-11 with DEN (2015-16)
From one great to another, Kubiak was always respected as a HC, even in the bad times. He brought stability to a young Texans team that knew nothing of a winning culture. He made a franchise QB out of Matt Schaub. He inherited a HoFer in Andre Johnson and found more incredible talent guys like Watt, Jonathan Joseph, and Arian Foster. Unfortunately, his time in Houston concluded with a tumultuous 2-11 season that gave Houston the 1st overall pick. He was fired before the end of the season and moved into an OC role with Baltimore.
He found his calling when the Broncos came knocking. Anxious to win a Superbowl before the end of Peyton Manning's career, the team came to Kubiak -- who had led a t

Interested in how the Bills roster stacks up against their opponents? Me too, and because of that I spend a significant amount of my time analyzing five key matchups for every Bills game; Bills Pass Offense vs. Opponents Pass Defense, Bills Rush Offense vs. Opponents Rush Defense, Bills Pass Defense vs. Opponents Pass Offense, Bills Rush Defense vs. Opponents Rush Offense, and Bills Special Teams vs. Opponents Special Teams. After doing this I try to determine βWhy Buffalo Will Loseβ and βWhy Buffalo Will Winβ which ultimately leads me to a Prediction. Below I present 2021βs 17th iteration of this analysis for the Bills upcoming home game against the Jets. Included is a scale to rank the advantage in each matchup from πππππ (Massive Advantage) to π (Minimal Advantage).
If you would prefer an Audio Breakdown of the game check out the latest episode of βProcess On Tapβ. In this weekβs episode my co-host Jeramy and I break down the Jets @ Bills game, not so frivolous lawsuits, and what the future holds for us and the Bills.
Josh Allen posted the single worst Passer Rating of his career (17.0) on Sunday against the Falcons, and the Bills still won by 14 points. A Stefon Diggs dropped pass in the Endzone, two INTs off batted balls, and a third INT via a diving catch were just some of the events that contributed to that 17.0 Passer Rating. These are not excuses, far from it, and while we can all admit that Allenβs performance was lacking you can bet there is no one more critical on his play than Allen himself. The good news is at this point in his career games such as this have become the anomaly as he is much more consistently lighting up the box score than producing results such as this. Expect Allen and the Bills Passing Attack to bounce back in a big way this week in preparation for a possible Super Bowl run in the coming months.
That βbounce backβ will be attempted against a Jets team that hosts the 32nd Overall Defense and 31st Ranked Pass Defense by DVOA. Completely talent deprived in the secondary the Jets Defensive Back group starts names like Echols, Hall, Davis, and Riley. Of those four starters the only one with a Passer Rating against below 11

From the article:
"Hilaria, whose birth name is Hillary Thomas, was born in Boston to white American parents, but in dozens of interviews seemingly led people to believe she was from Spain, often speaking with a Spanish accent."
"This is probably an awkward and embarrassing time for Alec and Hilaria," Billy said.
What happened to "back and forth from Boston to Spain all her life, Billy?" What's she got to be "embarrassed" about? π€
According to the actor, he's "been texting Alec the whole time to make sure he's OK and if he needs anything."
Sounds like a real close family π
"I feel terrible," Phillips added in a recent YouTube video. "Who's going to throw the first stone at my sweet sister-in-law? She's a good woman and, you know, none of us are perfect."
Nobody's perfect and everyone just invents a false identity and speaks with a weird, faltering, fake accent, right? Why, it's just like forgetting to return a library book!
The only other celebrity "defender" I recall was Leslie Jordan, who blithely said: "She can be whatever she wants" when asked how he can support her pretending to be a legitimate Spaniard.
So, none of these people supported Hillary's narrative once the shit hit the fan and the facts were out: even their so-called "support" was basically:
"Yeah, well, she lies and is fucked-up but so what?"
Has ANYONE besides Alec fallen in line with her "I'm Multi! Grew up Bicultural! In two places at once!" crap?

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.

After buying my girlfriend tickets for a March 14, 2020 show (2 days after shutdown) for Christmas 2019, we finally saw Hamilton on Saturday night as a newly engaged couple.
The show was incredible to see in person and I wanted to share a few thoughts on some of the principal cast:
Miguel Cervantes (A. Ham) - I can't say anything that anyone hasn't already said. His portrayal is phenomenal top to bottom. I couldn't have been happier to have him be the first Hamilton I saw live.
Jin Ha (A. Burr) - I was excited to see how he played this. I truly love a lot of Burr's songs. I was a little let down by Wait for It (my 2nd favorite song) and prefer Leslie's raw emotion in it. However Jin and Miguel's rendition of Dear Theodosia is breathtaking and blows the original out of the water in my opinion. He was strong through the second half as Burr gets angrier. Overall I was impressed.
James Monroe Inglehart (Jefferson/Lafayette) - Slightly different take than Daveed. A little less energy, but more sophisticated. His talent absolutely speaks for itself and he gives a great performance. While I prefer Daveed, this take was not a let down at all.
Tamar Greene (Washington) - One of the highlights of the show. His presence is commanding, he comes out booming in Right Hand Man, and brings the house to its feet with One Last Time (my personal favorite song). Really loved his performance.
Krystal Joy Brown (Eliza) - Absolutely beautiful rendition of the role. Helpless was great, and her take on That Would be Enough was gorgeous. She absolutely nailed Burn, and while she doesn't go for some of the higher notes Philippa did, her sustained notes are beyond beautiful.
Fergie L. Phillipe (Mulligan/Madison) - Another surprise. This role is so much fun to see in person and he absolutely nails it. Brings a ton of energy and comedy to the show.
Mandy Gonzalez (Angelica) - This is the only role that disappointed me. May have just been an off night for her, but it was just a little inconsistent. There were moments where she shined in both Satisfied and Quiet Uptown, but others where I was underwhelmed. All in all just suffers from being compared to Renee which is a tough act to follow.
What a show. Thank you LMM!
I'd love to hear thoughts from anyone else who has seen the cast recently.
It's the Holidays in Pawnee while Rob Lowe and Alan Yang watch the 12th episode of season two! In "Christmas Scandal" A meeting with a disgraced councilman lands Leslie in the middle of a scandal. On today's episode find out the origins of the character Alexa Softcastle, the mystery note in the writer's room that read "Blood Diamond Phillips", and this episode's unique connection to SNL.

Ants donβt even have the concept fathers, let alone a good dad joke. Keep r/ants out of my r/dadjokes.
But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.
We told her she can lean on us for support. Although, we are going to have to change her driver's license, her height is going down by a foot. I don't want to go too far out on a limb here but it better not be a hack job.
I feel like he's still relevant enough to end up coaching until he decides he doesn't want to anymore and it seems a number of these older (especially defensive minded coaches) eventually find themselves on solid teams in a coordinator role (Dan Quinn, Wade Phillips [retired], Leslie Frazier, Lovie Smith, etc).
If he's out of MN and on the hunt for a new job, who do you think scoops him up and what role does he have?
My gut says he would end up as a coordinator first and think it would be hilarious (albeit incredibly unlikely) if he worked under Stefanski in Cleveland. Otherwise, I can't imagine Urban Meyer being back next year, Zim could bring some good stability (but nothing really flashy) as head coach there if they chose to go with an outside hire.
To be clear, I have great respect for Zimmer and his years here at MN. I've always appreciated his attitude and the teams he's put together but I think we need to try something different to get this team to the next level and I'm not confident Zim is the guy who can do that here.
