A list of puns related to "Lenore (poem)"
Green-eyed, white limbed, the libra lady rides straight
down the wind. Nor does she safely sit and wait
for sweet serenity but opens wide for joy
and all device of delirium she does employ.
Her sea-dawn eyes hold memories of ancient Greece
when all the gods came down to kiss and laugh and twine
nor from that lovely loving did they cease
till all that once was human had become divine.
Let there be loving and let the joy run free
Think of this, lady, when you think of me.
P.S. Does anyone have recommendations on (not beat) poets similar to Lenore Kandel? Or poets that delve into themes such as spirituality (perhaps even magic), sexuality, and freedom?
So I went digging around in Brimstone's little room in The Range and I found a book near the record player called "The Raven" by Edgar Ellen Poe, and I have a feeling this book isn't here, fully textured, for no reason. So I went online to read it. I'll pick out the most relevant verses of this poem that might hint towards Agent 19:
> For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore -- Nameless here for evermore.
> Some late visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door -- This it is and nothing more.
> I said, βart sure no craven, Ghastly grim and ancient Raven wandering from the Nightly shoreβTell me what thy lordly name is on the Nightβs Plutonian shore!βΒ Quoth the Raven βNevermore.β (The raven said its name was Nevermore)
These are the most significant verses, and in the poem the protagonist seems to think that God sent this Raven, who was also Lenore:
> βthy God hath lent theeβby these angels he hath sent thee -- Respiteβrespite and nepenthe from thy memories of Lenore

WARNING: Long and a bit angry towards the end, TL;DR at the bottom.
I just finished the Netflix series a few days ago and I'm really struggling to come to terms with the resolution of Lenore's arc; I seem to be in the minority in thinking that her committing solar suicide was a really disappointing conclusion to her story.
I should preface by stating that I am undoubtedly biased towards Hector and Lenore; I really wanted a happy ending for them, not something as cheesy as metaphorically riding off into the sunset, but at least some indication of them having a future together.
I was actually surprised how much my opinion of Lenore and Hector's relationship changed from S3 to S4. I was 100% convinced Hector was going to lose his mind and murder Lenore after the awful way she treated him in S3, but disregarding the whiplash of their dynamic change starting in S4, I found their interactions afterwards to be quite endearing and definitely saw the potential for a genuinely romantic relationship.
Concerning Lenore's decision, It seemed the 3 major points that guided her to make the choice she did were as follows:
Since some consider the exact meaning of the "cage" to be up in the air, Point 1 will go forward with assumption that she was referring to Isaac's supposed "watchful eye", rather than the internal struggle of her conflicting natures; point 3 will indirectly address the latter possibility.
Point 1: During Lenore's final conversation with Hector, she tells him that despite her beliefs about who she is, her true nature is that of a monster. Lenore concludes that because of her inescapable nature, she will be forever forced to "live her life in a cage" under Isaac's "watchful eye"; Lenore states that she is incapable of living her life this way, even with Hector, and decides in that moment to end her own life through solar suicide.
From a physical standpoint, the issue of Lenore's imprisonment is completely non-existent, given her ability to shift into mist or a swarm of bats negating any security measures to restrain her, as well as the apparent absence of any magical warding around the castle. Even if we assu

The slippery chain armor we find inside the bulette might be hers. Her friend sends her a worried letter warning her that a bulette is not a pet. Any thoughts?
Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm not even sure how to feel anymore. TLDR: MIL is trying to get my husband alone so she can convince him to leave me because she knows he is the only one who won't stand up to her, while I'm trying to get him to grow a shiny spine now that I finally have my own.
I (33F) have been with my husband (36M) for 12 years now, married for 4. I didn't meet my in-laws until 3 or so years into the relationship and while that frustrated me at the time, I kind of get it now.
Background: FIL is not the worst human for the most part. Super traditional and conservative and has some problematic beliefs, but is good to his family and has worked hard for many years to give them what he didn't have. My husband grew up wanting for nothing because his father worked his way up to being a CFO-for-hire making more money than I will ever see. This was before seemingly being forced into retirement after some company he was working for got sold off or something and he couldn't find another job that allowed him the flexibility he wanted. As a result, the in-laws recently moved into a beautiful custom-built (but cheaper) house in a new state that is at least a day's drive from all of their children, where MIL constantly complains about how "poor" they are (I promise - they aren't) and how no one ever visits them or makes time for them.
MIL is... interesting. We call her "Lenore". Lenore was kind to me when she met me at a family dinner my husband brought me to some 9 years ago, added me on facebook, gushed to me in facebook messenger about my husband being her "golden child", and then promptly removed me from facebook after seeing some of my more political posts that she didn't agree with. When I reached out to see if I had done something wrong, she told me that she wanted her facebook to be more for family things and hoped I'd understand. Whatever - I don't care. Except that a month later, when my then-boyfriend took me home for Christmas, I learned that she had sent him an email letting him know that she hoped this thing with his "friend" (me) was short-lived because "you know girls these days". (Hilariously - he didn't know girls these days. I was his first everything. He has a whole lot of anxiety about relationships that can very obviously be traced back to family things. More on that another time.) And ever since then, that is how Lenore has communicated about/to me - passive aggressive texts/emails to my husband. She does this to all of
