A list of puns related to "Leftoverture"
If I understand correctly, Kansas's Leftoverture was distributed in the US by Don Kirshner's label, which no longer exists. Does anyone know who owns the rights to Leftoverture now?
Okay, I have listened to a good amount of Kansas, I have listened to their first album, Leftoverture and Point of Know Return. Still working on the others- next, I will listen to their second album most likely.
Anyways- FOR MY FELLOW PEOPLE WHO HAVENT LISTENED TO KANSAS AND LIKE THESE ARTISTS:
Boston
Billy Squier
Asia
Genesis
REO Speedwagon
Yes
or any classic rock, lite rock, prog rock band- you're going to have to like Kansas' Leftoverture.
- I have listened to this album multiple times and the build-up is insane I really like the keys and synth leads it is so different from their first album in a good way.
-----------> My TOP favorites from the album: I pretty much liked every song on here
The Wall, Questions of My Childhood, Magnum Opis: Father Padilla Meets the Perfect Gnat / Howling at The Moon (ETC), Opus Insert.
GREAT PROGRESSIVE ALBUM FOR KANSAS SURPRISINGLY PLEASANT WHEN I FIRST LISTENED TO IT!!!
(thank you.)

I'm really impressed with the recording quality of the two bonus live tracks on the 2001 rerelease of Leftoverture. Does anybody know what year they were recorded, or if they're on any of Kansas' live albums?
As always, we encourage participation from everyone - if you've never heard the album, there's a YouTube link provided! Go check it out and report back!
Welcome to the forty-fifth week of /r/progrockmusic's Album of the Week! Last week we discussed Ozric Tentacles' Jurassic Shift and that was lovely.

###Kansas - Leftoverture (1976)
Track Listing:

####Potential Discussion Questions:
Our first Kansas record! This is generally considered their best one. I don't see it, but maybe I'm wrong! How do you like this album relative to the rest of their output and relative to prog output in general?
How would you personally rate the album?
Are there any moments on the album you consider particularly strong or particularly weak (i.e., favourite/least favourite moments)?

Do your worst!
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
Theyβre on standbi
It really does, I swear!
Pilot on me!!
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
What did 0 say to 8 ?
" Nice Belt "
So What did 3 say to 8 ?
" Hey, you two stop making out "
When I got home, they were still there.
I won't be doing that today!
