Americans of English heritage: do you still maintain English traditions like celebrating English holidays and eating English cuisine the same way Americans of Irish, Italian or Greek Americans do?

Any Americans of English descent still maintain English traditions by celebrating English holidays and eating English cuisine in the same way that Americans of Irish, Italian, Greek or Scandinavian heritage still maintain their cultural identity through holidays, cuisine and other traditions?

Baked Ziti is a thing in Italian-American cuisine, but not Italian-Canadian?

I grew up in the NY area, and moved up to Canada later on in my life.

Recently, I've noticed that ziti's are missing ENTIRELY from any italian joint I have seen/googled in Canada.

I became so curious I searched for it, the closest place serving ziti I found was 10ft over the border, in NY state. I even asked a local italian-canadian friend, he's literally never heard the word ziti before..

How come it didn't carry over into italian-canadian cuisine?

LPT: Struggling to come up with a variety of home cooked meals? Dont use ingredients as your leader, make a list of your favorite cultural cuisines IE Italian, Mexican, American then from there write down your favorite dishes associated with those cuisines or dishes you'd like to try

For example

Italian: Spaghetti, lasagna, ravioli, pesto, gnocchi

Mexican: Burritos, tacos, enchiladas, tostadas

American: Ribs, burgers, hot dogs

Then if you google that cuisine you might find dishes you've never heard of but sound great to add to your list.

Spaghetti is the iconic pasta shape in Italian-American cuisine. Do we know if it had any special level of popularity or importance in Italian cuisine before the creation of Italian-American food, or was it just another amongst the many that exist? If it wasn’t already very popular, do we know much about how it became the classic US Italian dish?

I have never seen such a variety of dishes and specialties before than in America, In other countries you will not find so many types of steak or that kind of marine cuisine, all in different qualities and prices to your own taste. People saying that the food in the United States is bad they are just coping the fact that their own cuisine has been already make it a profitable market accustomed to american taste.
