A list of puns related to "International Chopin Piano Competition"
Chopin Institute is broadcasting live. Today event was broadcasted here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZb3O2y7cdQ
I was wondering what the preferences have to say about the pianist. For example, I thought it was interesting that Bruce Liu won the competition on a Fazioli. I take it that there are very minor differences between the piano selections, but I rarely see anyone choose Fazioli.
The 18th Frederic Chopin international piano competition found its Winner in Bruce (Xiaoyu) Liu of Canada.

Communism will win.
It's about the nature of competition and the value of personal interpretation, the impact of life experience on expression.
You'll hear a lot of wonderful piano.
I found the show a pleasure to watch and listen to. I'll be interested in your reactions.
Live chat is super toxic, just saying. They keep brooding about how a competitor had accidently stepped on a wrong note and keep repeating boring tone and blah blah blah. These people have never been on stage before and yet criticize such competitors over a very minor thing that the judges won't majorly take into account (unless you play half of your piece in wrong notes but no competitor had done that). Music is super subjective and a good interpretation for one is not a good one for others, but they have all tried their best and came with wonderful music to share with us all. I had a much better time enjoying their performance when I turned off the chat for the competition, and I think others should consider it too.......
Now that we know the 12 finalists, who is your favourite? I know Sorita is a strong candidate but my vote goes to Alexander Gadjiev.
Here is the list of the finalists in alphabetical order (https://chopin2020.pl/en/news/article/339/we-know-the-names-of-12-finalists-of-the-18th-chopin-competition-):
Chopin competition takes place rn, i hear differences between sound of pianists that take part in competition but im not a pianist so im wondering what are more of a technical differences for a musician between fazioli, steinway, yamaha, kawaii.
I want to know a performer's perspective not a audience's perspective.
I don't know the names of the jury or their family tree but i would really like to know if a living descendant of Chopin is judging in a Chopin competition.
