A list of puns related to "Innovative Interfaces"
"Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement to acquire Innovative, a leading provider of integrated library systems for public, academic, and specialty libraries. Innovative will become a business unit within Ex Libris."
And FOLIO (the light of freedom) is largely underwritten by EBSCO.
The providers are acquiring all the means of finding information.
I'm sure this will bode well for library budgets.
The controls and menus are usually the least considered part of a game, but if done incorrectly, it can make a game frustrating.
I just replayed Kirby Air Ride last night and realized how much it influenced the cartoony, exciting nature of Super Smash Bros. Brawl's menus, including the achievements. The controls are also so perfectly simple that it tricks the user into thinking it's an easy game.
What other games are like that? And what games were ruined by their interface?
