A list of puns related to "IIT Bombay"
Seniors said dual degree is for five years so you will have to wait for one year and whereas your batchmates would go ahead of you , so what are your views
Oh youβre considering IIT Bombay CSE? I was in the same situation last year and I chose IIT BHU ceramic and never looked back. Allow me to explain. First of all, IIT BHU has a great coding culture. IIT BHU had 23 GSoC selections last year, the second mostβ while IIT Bombay had a paltry 13. Thatβs right, IIT Bombay is totally overrated and students are waking up to it now. The days of people blindly running after IIT Bombay tag are over and now more and more people are realizing BHU is better. Second of all, you will definitely get a SDE job. That is the only job worth having so it doesnβt matter what branch youβre in. CSE is a circuit branch and is very loaded and youβll have a lot of useless courses such as Discrete Math and Formal Languages. In ceramic, there is no load. Professors donβt even show up to class and they give previous year papers over and over again. This allows you to dedicate all your time to coding. Not only that, Ceramic at BHU is very highly respected and you are sure to get s lot of clout from society. Also Banaras is a much better city than Bombay with much livelier city life, better facilities and best gender ratio and because Bollywood is in Bombay you will surely get caught up in drugs and other illicit behavior like k*ssing. IIT BHU is literally the best college out there. No other college is worth taking so blindly make your decision. Anyway, Iβm just listing the pros and cons of my college, the decision is up to you.
This year I am about to join iit bombay, so I would like to know about the life around the campus
My_qualifications: So I'm in 12th rn and recently stumbled upon this BDes course from some of the IITs. Me being a non-math student, find this opportunity pretty good and want to know if it really is.
I've read about its entrance exam which is completely different from JEE or the likes and I think I might crack it in even 5-6 months (is it possible?).
But the main question is, is this course really valuable? Like I couldn't find any answers regarding the scope, value, etc. Like after a BCom from the top colleges, you are likely to get hired as an analyst or something by Deloitte, EY and the likes. But I couldn't find any such stuff about Bdes.
I did read one of the posts, but it wasn't close to being relevant to this because it was regarding an architecture grad.
Any alums here? Please tell me your opinion, or maybe what kind of placements are present, what are you doing now?
See I do have the option of going for an MBA later but that doesn't mean I'll study some completely random course for 4 years of undergraduation.
TLDR: Basically I need a review for the BDes course at IIT Bombay, Guvahati, Hyderabad. Please :)
Edit: IIT Guwahati is out because apparently it requires mathematics in 12th even for a design course. Weird fetish. :/
my_qualifications : 12th+Jee advance 2021
Got allotted economics at Roorkee, which is an extremely new program (would be first batch) and am considering whether to float for Metallurgy/Chem/Mech or freeze it right away ? Am interested in Economics but being the first batch sounds risky.
What is your opinion?I am thinking about taking this.
