Before last week's hotfix, whether you ran dares in normal or legend difficulty you would receive the same amount of rep. This is no longer the case - I've ran the activity several times on both difficulties on a max streak and kept track of the values. Normal difficulty is now capping at 125, whereas legend with platinum rewards gave 185 and legend gold gave 165. These values will vary slightly depending on your Xur rank, I was rank 13-14.
Hopefully this clears things for those who were wondering about the lower rep values. I was seeing a lot of posts basically asking the same thing but nobody really had a conclusive answer.
First hotfix have been deployed on PlayStation, and should be available anytime soon.

- Full servers will now return an "All seats taken" error when trying to join a server that filled up between serverlist updates.
Edit: Smaller teams with coordination (cc discord or something) is definitely more fun and entertaining. I still disagree with making big adjustments right on the first day and based on the complaining of the majority on reddit while doing big masses (as well as a fight not really reqarding correct play but just a dmg vs eating). But as a hard and GWD boss, it should not just be eternally camped by getting big kc in the room and just being able to leave, bank and rejoin, so I guess that now the power level is good (although the fight itself not) (End of edit)
I am specifically talking about this one with the overall increase of damage because people in 80 man masses were complaining about afking the boss.
Of course the first day of release the boss will be easy with so many people killing it but as the hype is slowly dying out and smaller teams are more common, this actually hurts them more overall, especially considering there is little skill involved in the actual boss mechanics itself and it turned into 'just take unavoidable dmg and try to eat while dpsing' type of bossfight, similar to regular nightmare.
I agree with all the other changes, the food drops were indeed quite overpowered, and who knows, maybe in the future they are planning to make a hard mode nex, similar to phosani nightmare, when it is not just about eat/dmg boss/eat/dmg minion but you actually have to play more carefully and get rewarded for not making a mistake (like phosani).
But right now, Jagex just gave into complaining of players on day 1 and made Nex harder for small groups, which are already suffering from it as the hype is dying off.
First post of this nature I'm doing, but I don't think there's much else to say. I've only watched a few hours of the new act, but it's already making me sick of it. It ruined the economy, the tempo and the nature of a lot of matchups.
Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but the old Stinger gave me PTSD.

I've played a lot of mmos and games in general. There were bugs and exploits of course, but I never expierienced anything like AGS shitshow. Every Update, Patch, maintenaces or even COMPENSATION(shitshow of the day) resulting in major and minor bugs and exploits.
This feels like AGS stepped into a quicksand and with every try to get out of it, they sink deeper and deeper. This game at its core is something I've been waiting for in an mmo industry for a long time... such a shame to look at what is going on.

I'm using PMS with a USB enclosure as 'removable' storage, and I've transferred the library metadata to it as well.
Thinking I want to install the update, and change the app permissions for Plex & PMS to allow access to removable/external storage all the time, see if it works, then if not, sign up for the Hotfix. Sounds like after signing up, can take about 6 hours for the notification to show.
Any recommendations? Should I make sure to backup my library first? Thanks!
Preamble:
So this is a story shared to me, with permission to share, by a work colleague that I have recently reacquainted with. I will be writing this as if it was me in the situation, as that is how he told it, and I think it will read better too.
Background:
I worked as a developer for a company that built and managed the software behind a rapidly growing online E-commerce store that sells tech gadgets and accessories (which I will refer to as βMegaStoreβ for this story), in a Central African country. The βMegaStoreβ started off small, and my boss built the original website on risk, for a cut of the commission that MegaStore earned.
Side note as it is important later: The commission that βMegaStoreβ gained from the sale of an item on the site, would be split on purchase. The majority of the commission would be paid directly into βMegaStoreβsβ bank account and a smaller portion would be paid into my boss's bank account.
As the popularity of MegaStore grew, so did the demands on my boss, and he was able to build a company around servicing βMegaStoreβ. While he did try to grow his client base, none were the same size or scope as Megastore, and thus were not able to carry the company.
βMegaStoreβ was approached for a buyout by a company (we can call them βBad Company Incβ) with their own internal development team. Part of the buyout deal included ending the revenue-sharing arrangement with my boss (an external development company). At the beginning of the process, everything was very positive, as my boss arranged a big payday, and the deal was signed. He had managed to get this great deal because he had positioned that this buyout would kill his company and thus he and all his staff needed to be compensated.
The buyout took several months and by the end, the relationship between βBad Company Incβ and my boss had completely broken down. My boss had managed to secure another large client and thus didn't need to close his company. Because of this, βBad Company Incβ said that they didn't need to pay my boss a payout. A lot of these meetings were above my pay grade.
The setup:
So we are in the final days of handing over the entire site to βBad Company Incβ and their internal CTO (βDickDevβ), who had complete hatred for the code that ran βMegaStoreβ as it was a bastardized version of an open-source platform. He considered himself a purist and if the code wasn't custom-built for the purpose it wasn't worth anything.

Yesterday, Riot dropped a huge bomb on the meta, nerfing every single one of the Tier 1 Staples in an emergency hotfix. This was a completely unexpected turn of events, and the changes went live almost immediately after the announcement. This surprise is very appreciated by the community as the meta was starting to stagnate because of over-dominant decks.
One week after the expansion release, we are now getting a new start in a completely new meta. In this article, I would like to analyze the nerfs and how impactful they are, talking about which archetypes will resist the changes, and which will fall as a result.
