A list of puns related to "Herringbone (cloth)"
Hey guys. I've been looking into purchasing a few shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt once prices decrease, but I'm not sure which shirt is considered the "best" out of the different options. I haven't seen anyone shed light on which cloth-type is considered the longest lasting, highest quality, etc. For reference, I have narrowed it down to 5 shirts:
Thanks very much in advance
Starring local theatre sensation, Den Dibble, Philadelphia-based Flashpoint Theatre Company's 'Herringbone' (book by Tom Cone, music by Skip Kennon, lyrics by Ellen Fitzhugh) played in the summer of 2014. Skip Kennon, the composer of the score, claims that Ben's is the best performance of the show and that claim includes the Original 1982 Broadway Cast, David Rounds, and the La Jolla Playhouse/Williamstown Theatre Festival production from just over a decade ago starring B.D. Wong. To access the file, take out the spaces...

This week's vintage batch features FPs exemplifying the Art Deco charms of the 1930s with special focus on pens with transparent barrels such as the Waterman Ink-Vue and Conklin Nozac. Nibs range from Semiflex to Wet Noodle, with one Factory Oblique in the mix. As always, all are fully restored and ready to write.

Condition (n.b.): All pens listed below have been disassembled, cleaned and restored with new sacs and seals installed in the last couple weeks. Note on Ink-Vues: Restoring a Waterman Ink-Vue pen the right way is quite a chore and requires patience and experience with seized parts and fragile materials β something I've learned the hard way over the course of repairing a bunch of them. All the Ink-Vues below (#1-#3) received new sacs and rubber washers. And their sections were sealed with Ron Zorn's rosin based sealant after their barrel interiors were polished to maximize clarity. Each fills to factory capacity, holding a lot of ink with no leaks. All the pens below are guaranteed to fill and write as designed without leaks or other problems. Nibs have been adjusted when necessary to ensure that all lay down a smooth and consistent line.
THESE PENS HAVE NO CRACKS (except #1), CHIPS, PERSONALIZATIONS, LOOSE OR MISSING PARTS, BENT NIBS, MISALIGNED TINES, BROKEN/WORN OFF TIPPING, OR THREADING ISSUES.
Line Widths and Writing Samples: To provide buyers with as much information as possible, I have started to adopt the following line width standards: XXF (.1-.2mm); XF (approx .3mm); F (approx .4mm); M (approx .6mm); B (approx .8mm). Nib flexibility is determined by variation (max line width under pressure) and softness (amount of pressure). Flexibility designations based on variation generally run as follows for an XF/F nib: Semi-Flex (approx. 1mm); Flex (1.2-1.9mm); Superflex (>2mm). All line width measurements are taken with a digital caliper but should be considered approximations providing a general guide. Width may vary slightly depending on type of ink and paper used as well as amount of pressure applied. All writing samples are on Rhodia dot paper using Waterman Serenity Blue.

Hi all! I absolutely am in love with one specific pair of lulus I have.
I have a pair of the full on luon herringbone leggings released around winter 2016. I work out hard 5x a week and these have been my best pair of leggings for 6 years now. They are soft, tight and supportive, dont show sweat and are all around perfect.
I haven't been able to find anything similar in lulus stores for years now, anyone know comparables or dupes?

This might be a bit of a silly question, I'm so sorry.
I want to crochet a blanket for my best friend, and I fell in love with the herringbone half double stitch. But since a blanket is a huge project (for me at least) I want to be prepared and know how much yarn I might need in advance.
The herringbone double crochet seems to be a bit tighter than the regular half double one (which I used for blankets before), so I'm assuming you do need more yarn, but I'm not too sure. Anyone?
TLDR: Is there a trick when working herringbone stitch to keep it from shrinking noticeably shrinking the product?
I'm trying to make a coozie for a toilet paper roll. It's basically an itty bitty hat. I decided I wanted the body to be all herringbone stitch. However, after the 2x2 ribbing being perfectly fine on my smallest circular cable, the herringbone rapidly became too tight. Trying to loosen up my (naturally tight) tension didn't help. I didn't lose any stitches from my cast on, I checked. I then managed to drop a stitch to the row below completely and can't figure out how to fix it. So, I'm contemplating frogging back to the brim and trying again. Herringbone stitch has been a massive PITA, but it's real purty, so I'm hoping there's something simple I'm doing wrong that I can fix in attempt 2.
