A list of puns related to "Health effect"
The same ignorant cunts who claim to care about saving lives at any cost are rushing to the hospital when they test positive after their sixth swab of the day, taking up valuable time and resources that could be better spent on those with actual illnesses and health concerns. Of course, only days prior these twat-flaps were waiting in line for several hours outside their local GP clinic in the freezing cold and pissing rain for a fucking useless booster jab - once again wasting valuable time and resources.
The same smug assholes who claim to "follow the science" ignore the likes of Robert Malone in favour of faceless, nameless "Experts" and Fact Checkers who are paid to toe the line and spout fear-mongering bullshit. These mealy-mouthed cocksuckers continue to flap their arms in a panic and test themselves at every opportunity despite the overwhelming evidence and data that suggests the Omicron variant is extremely mild. How's that "following the science" exactly? Oh, and these same delusional fuck-wits demand vaccine passports be implemented despite there being no data that supports them and that they have utterly failed in every instance they have been introduced.
The same smooth-brained chodes who claim to be against fascism and Nazis are applauding fascist measures whilst using Nazi terminology to describe the unvaccinated. They will sneer at comparisons to The Holocaust and call them baseless conspiracy theories, all whilst seeing us as sub-human, inferior plague-rats who need to be disposed of. You won't find anyone on our side denying that we want Nuremberg 2.0 to happen.
The same midwit shitheads who claim that we're all a bunch of crazy conspiracy theorists turn around and act like they were ALWAYS aware that vaccine passports, boosters, quarantine camps and the like were going to be a thing, despite denying these things would ever come to pass until they were blue in the face months prior. Good luck gaslighting myocarditis away, you fucking lying, spineless cunts. Call it "post-pandemic stress", blame the fucking change in climate all you like, deep in your damaged heart you'll know YOU were wrong and we were right.
I don't mean someone who is full of self-pity, simply someone who, for example, may be suffering from depression, or having a rough patch in life. I've sometimes been in a position where I've tried to put on a brave face and act like I'm immune to negative emotions through fear of scaring someone away, which I know is wrong.
I'm a medical student. My school's hospital has always treated nurses like crap - several nurses have told me it severely underpays its nurses which has led to many nurses quitting.
The Omicron spike has exacerbated these issues in our school's hospital. Now they are asking us medical students to volunteer. Some students asked if we would be paid for this. Someone else snarkily posted a link to the definition for altruism in response.
To me, it seems like we're backstabbing nurses by essentially operating as scabs. I get that Omicron is hitting us hard, but maybe I would feel more comfortable with this kind of thing if it was accompanied with a commiserate pay raise for nurses (to be honest, it may have been, I really have no idea).
What's your take on this?
Here before I see it anywhere else, and it obviously impacts many of us in California: https://www.cnn.com/2022/01/13/politics/supreme-court-vaccine-mandate-covid-19/index.html
Note: "This story is breaking and will be updated."
If you don't want to click on CNN, I'm sure it's out there or about to be in a lot of other forms and formats. This is going to rock the entire US and is a massive, massive ruling. I am awaiting further commentary but feel free to dialogue of course because this is huge and sets major precedent as far as I know.
Seriously, I was having a discussion with my gf (currently suffering from Catholic guilt and OCD) about how Abrahamic religions and their negative judgements of things that shouldnβt concern a βGodβ is affecting the way people live their life. We are human beings, primates, but we live with the fear of being punished by God because of our own hominid instinctβ¦ it makes one extremely anxious and obsessive all the time and engage in repeated behaviour (constantly judging others, singing worship songs, nervous praying, basically being a fanatic about said religion because some of these acts brings them this false sense of temporary βpeaceβ) just so we can be on Godβs good side all the time and not go to βHellβ thus severely affecting an individualβs mental health. I donβt know if Iβm connecting reasonable dots here someone can chime in.
Edit: as a comment on this thread said, Iβm talking about the 3 main abrahamic religions: Christianity, Islam, and Judaism
Hello, Redditors! Iβm Jay Lemery, MD, emergency medicine professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. I co-lead the countryβs first Climate & Health Program at CU Anschutz where we investigate the link between climate change and health.
Iβm also one of the first climate doctors. So what does that mean? Find out!
As we struggle to adapt to killer tornadoes, wildfire smoke, scorching heat waves, rising sea levels and more, I examine how this affects our bodies and health. Is this the new normal?
Iβm here to talk about and take your questions on topics including the following and more:
At the Climate & Health Program, we not only treat patients, we also aim to be credible advocates for smart policies that address the climate crisis. We aspire to be the home of climate medicine.
Iβm also Chief of the Section of Wilderness and Environmental Medicine and teach our pre-med and med students a variety of courses about wilderness and environmental medicine.
