A list of puns related to "Hattie Morahan"
She has blonde curly/wavy hair and is 30s/40s
I used to have an account on digital theater and had it there, but I don't anymore. Would still love a version of it!
While Sense and Sensibility isn't my favorite Austen novel (though it does have some of my favorite characters such as Elinor), I absolutely love both the 1995 movie and the 2008 miniseries. I find that whenever I ama watching one of them, I'm constantly comparing it to the other one, and I honestly struggle to decide which version I like better. But I thought I'd go through the characters/elements and talk about which adaptation I prefer for that element.
Elinor: 2008. I love Emma Thompson as Elinor, but Hattie Morahan is just amazing in this role. She's more age-appropriate than Emma Thompson, and she just embodies the character for me. Honestly, Hattie Morahan's protrayal of Elinor is one of my favorite portrayals of any Jane Austen character ever, and that's saying something.
Marianne: 1995. Kate Winslet does such a good job as Marianne, and I have trouble imagining anyone else as the character. She's melodramatic without overacting, and I think she is just the right amount of over-the-top. Charity Wakefield is excellent in the role as well; I just suppose I prefer Kate Winslet. I think that the 2008 version has Marianne act a little bit more mature (though still nowhere near as mature as Elinor).
Edward: 2008. I know, I know. The 1995 version's Edward is more true to the book, Hugh Grant does an amazing job portraying that character, and Dan Stevens' portrayal strays from the source material. I know. But I fall in love with Dan Stevens' Edward every time. One of my big complaints about the book is that it rushes the intro, and, as a result, we don't get to know Edward as we should before the Dashwoods leave Norland. Hugh Grant's Edward is endearing, but I adore Dan Stevens' Edward too much for words.
Colonel Brandon: 2008. I love Alan Rickman, but Harry Potter has kinda made it hard for me to see him as a romantic interest. Him blonde is...strange, and, as great as he is in this movie, I don't feel his chemistry with Marianne. I like the gravitas that David Morrisey brings to the role, and I like his friendship with Elinor.
Margaret: 1995. I just like the spunk and charisma of the 1995 Margaret more. The 2008 is more timid, and I still like her. I just prefer the more lively, pirate-obsessed Margaret.
Mrs. Dashwood: 2008. onestly, both Mrs. Dashwoods are good, but I prefer the 2008 one slightly becauase I feel like the relationships between her and her daughters are stronger. This is probably not due to the actresses,

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

Pilot on me!!
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
What did 0 say to 8 ?

So What did 3 say to 8 ?
