A list of puns related to "Halloween of Horror"
I'm a video essay channel and I'm undertaking the 31 days of halloween channel where I make a daily short video about a movie/comic/book/game I recommend to get into the halloween spirit. Does anyone have experience with daily videos. Any advise ? I currently have three videos done and scheduled

Anyone else upset that thereβs a lack of horror/Halloween themed movies this year that came out this month. Last year there wasnβt a lot either, Suspiria(which was a limited release) but at least we got Halloween. I really wish they would have saved Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark for October because that would have been perfect. Then in 2017 we got Jigsaw, Happy Death Day, and Boo! A Madea Halloween(yeah Iβm counting that because 1. Itβs Halloween themed and 2. I have respect for Tyler Perry especially with what he did with his new studio).
This year we have Zombieland, which yeah Iβll maybe see, I like the first quite a bit and Iβve heard itβs similar but not as good but is basically fan service. And we also have The Lighthouse which is a limited release, and isnβt really playing anywhere close by me.
I donβt know about anyone else but I feel a little cheated. I love going to the theater and I just wish there were more options. I understand that itβs not easy to make a movie, itβs a long process. I think itβd be cool if a studio or two would try to put out a Halloween/horror movie every year in October. It may sound like a lot to ask for but the movie doesnβt have to be anything special, a simple slasher or monster would do.
I donβt know maybe Iβm alone on this but would do you all think?
Staying with Hat kid and Bow kid in the spaceship is pretty fun, you guys usually run around the space ship chasing each other playing tag but you decide to do something on your own. So you decide to watch a horror movie. You go into Mafia town and purchase a horror movie about people being alone in a spaceship and an alien hunting them down and killing each and everyone of them, Fitting!
You return to the spaceship an- "Hey! What's that?" Hat kid says while pointing to the movie case in your hand. You begin to answer her questio- "Cool! looks like a movie!" Bow kid announces. "A MOVIE!? Cool! Can we watch it together? Can we?" Hat kid asks in excitement. You tell them both that this is a horror movie and will be too scary for them and say you got it for yourself to watch. "Aw boo! Why can't we watch it?" "Yeah! Me and Bow kid can take it!" Your final answer was no.
Knowing that Hat kid and Bow kid went to bed, you decide to watch the movie on Hat kid's T.V in the main room. It was very...boring. The entire movie was just cliches, plot holes, and cheap jump scares that you got mad at for making you flinch. After watching that terrible movie you decide to go to bed.
After waking up you decide to get something to eat in the kitchen. Once you opened the door you saw Hat kid looking into the fridge, presumably looking for something to eat. You say good morning to her. "AHH! DON'T EAT ME!" she screams while throwing her arms up in defense. Once she puts her arms down she sees you and starts blushing. "I mean, what would you like to eat?" she tries to cover up what she said earlier. Just then Bow kid kicks open the door with her umbrella out yelling "GET AWAY YOU ALIEN MON-" She quiets down once she sees you. "-ster... whoops, false alarm."
After a long awkward silence Hat kid admitted that they secretly watched the movie, though she didn't explain how since you never heard the door slide open. You were mad that they watched the movie, but felt guilty because now they're scared of some fictional alien monster coming after them.
How can you calm them down and make them believe that there's no alien monster?
Warning: Long post
Like many of us, I had a lot of difficulty finishing halloween horrors, on day 2 I was completing it with a ~5% success rate, but after I made some team and gameplay changes I am currently clearing it at a 100% success rates! These are just some general advice which I shared with my friend who isn't too hardcore and he managed to clear it with a 8k team as well and so I thought I would share if it helps people out in any way.
Allies are crucial during the boss fight
I know the general consensus on your AI controlled allies are that they are horribly dumb, but they still play a very important role in the hardest wave which is the boss fight - they distract the boss, and allow you to have a lot more windows of opportunity to attack. In the beginning, I was focused on just getting to the boss, and ignored my allies completely. As a non-light melee hero, this meant that one of the boss more dangerous moves, the often used forward swipe with a very short tell but very large frontal aoe swipe, always hit and left you with a nasty curse and ~1/3 of your hp down. Having allies alive allow them to act as decoys, and you can spend a lot more uptime on the boss. This seems like a throwaway factor makes one think "meh, I can do without it", but this single factor was literally the decisive factor which changed my win rate from 5% to a 100% clear. I am also not sure why but some of the boss moves are bugged against allies, the boss may target them with the lengthy rock throw when they are offscreen from me and although they are standing in the circle, they don't get damaged. Or sometimes, they get stuck against a wall pinned by the boss, and the boss hits don't seem to connect. Anyhow, the point is, keeping your allies as decoys is important.
Keeping your allies alive
Of course, the challenge is then to keep your allies alive through the first four waves. This is a mix of proper teambuilding and the actual battle - understanding the waves well.
Bring Hildegarde as your friend-support unit!
To start off, the easiest way is to bring a healer in. Bring the strongest one in, and in my experience the one that the most people have upgraded to max are the Hildegarde. Make sure you bring in a highly leveled one, and not low leveled one as chances are the player ignored their Hildegarde and would give horrible heals. After many play tests with different allies, I found that bringing healers are still the best way to keeping allies alive
... keep reading on reddit β‘I believe the main or co-host is named Bethany. One of the stories happens to be where Bethany herself is a ghost! Another story is about a lady that goes to a mans house who has a creature in his basement and he feeds women to the creature by luring them to his place for a date.. Any help would be appreciated!
I want to buy a one day ticket but was wondering would I be able to still enjoy the event.
Every single one of these is new to me. I am pretty excited.

I'm organizing a few one-shot adventures for the horror game Call of Cthulhu at places around town. The adventure is homebrew, and the one I've noticed is the favorite at Gencon and Origins (it's also published in the latest Bayt al Azif, if you're into roleplaying mags.) The adventure heavily involves props.
Dice are necessary, but otherwise no experience is required beyond a familiarity with general roleplaying concepts.
Please comment or PM if you think this would be fun. Cheers!
meaning go back to the basics and direct continuation to the original film?
Please comment below with your favorite scary game and how it left an impact on you. The 5 comments with most upvotes/best stories will be chosen at 11pm CST tonight.
Steam page for the game - https://store.steampowered.com/app/551650/The_Bedtime_Story/
My Top 5 would be:
The Evil Within - I have shit taste and i'm proud, also reacting to the cool ass boss fights with my friends hold fond memories in my heart.
Silent Hill 2 - My shittaste is pronounced further by this being under TEW but... yeah.
The Evil Within 2
Resident Evil 4
Alien Isolation - would probably be higher if the game didn't show you the ending and then drag you back to another section multiple times until they LITERALLY do that.
Friends, share your favorites with me, you may have shit taste but i will die for your right to express it.
