Americans of English heritage: do you still maintain English traditions like celebrating English holidays and eating English cuisine the same way Americans of Irish, Italian or Greek Americans do?

Any Americans of English descent still maintain English traditions by celebrating English holidays and eating English cuisine in the same way that Americans of Irish, Italian, Greek or Scandinavian heritage still maintain their cultural identity through holidays, cuisine and other traditions?

American cuisine is actually good

I have never seen such a variety of dishes and specialties before than in America, In other countries you will not find so many types of steak or that kind of marine cuisine, all in different qualities and prices to your own taste. People saying that the food in the United States is bad they are just coping the fact that their own cuisine has been already make it a profitable market accustomed to american taste.

Based on a recent post, I'm getting a feeling that my fellow Balkaners are not really fond of fish and seafood. So, makes me wonder, would you try any of these dishes or, if you have already tried any, did you like it? During the heights of Greek Colonialism, was there a ubiquitous sense of food, or a diverse interpretation of foreign cuisines?

Even a small culture like modern England has a diverse gastronomic culture, geographically and class structurally so, but there is arguably a distinct British:British-Foreign fusion:Foreign interpretation. Eg, sausage rolls:tikka masala:sushi.

During Greek antiquity, was there a sense of differing cuisine throughout the poleis, and also the colonies? Would an Athenian citizen have a sense of "Athenian cuisine vs Corinthian cuisine vs Sicilian cuisine vs Thracian cuisine"?

What's the healthiest cuisine (Chinese, Russian, American, Indian, etc)?

I heard that Asian foods are for the fibers, vitamins, antioxidants, proteins, lack of meats and dairies. But I also know a lot of Asian food has those things in there like curry's, a lot of Asian and Japanese foods, I know Thai foods are centered more around vegetables and plants. I don't know which cuisine is the healthiest tho, if it even is an Asian cuisine. So does anyone know lol? This should be a good conversation

Are there cookbooks for American/Western cuisine published in other countries?

Hey everyone, I’m not looking for a specific cookbook per se, but I’m trying to find a cookbook about American cooking that wasn’t published in America. I’m currently researching cooking from around the world and it’s easy to find American or European based chefs write cookbooks about food from other cultures but I’m really curious if there exists a cookbook from another culture that has recipes for American cooking.

If you had to eat another Latin American country's food for an entire year, which national cuisine would you pick?

Only rule is that you can't pick your own national cuisine. Which Latam country do you choose?

edit: I would probably choose a region where they eat a lot of seafood, maybe the caribbean coast or the atlantic coast.

Greek Cuisine in Grand Rapids?

Are there any traditional Greek restaurants in the Greater Grand Rapids area? I'm talking dishes like Moussaka, Dolmades, Keftethes, and Pastitsio rather than Greek-American grill (gyros and coneys) or Lebanese/Mediterranean such as Sheshco, Parsley, or Pita House. There used to be one in Alger Heights but it appears to have closed over the past year.
