A list of puns related to "Ford EcoBoost engine"
I've been looking into buying a truck lately and ive just assumed the v8s were the obvious option but I saw a v6 and looked up its towing capacity and I now I don't know what to think. I'm looking at 2011 F-150 with 200,000 miles on it and I'd like to know it the v6 can hold up well at such high miles.
On Jan 28 of 2019 I bought ππ½ at 77,000 miles. It now has 92,000 miles. Iβve got it checked repeatedly because of high mileage and everything seems to be running ok & idling consistently. No funny sounds. From what Iβve been seeing in this group is that my particular engine is βtrash.β I could be mistaken but I was wondering is someone can explain a little bit about why itβs so bad? What should I expect to repair first if something does go wrong?
Hello everyone.
My 2016 Mustang Ecoboost 2.3L is stuttering when I gas up, as well as throwing a P1450 code. All from me most likely over filling the tank when I first got the car. I am not able to find the part number to order for the Purge valve and want to make sure I find the right one before I order it.
If anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated; Thanks!

I really want to buy a 2017 Ford Escape Platinum with the 2.0L EcoBoost engine but was warned they have common "coolant issues". It was recommended to get a very base non turbo 2.5L engine.
Does anyone have experience with the EcoBoost engines and can speak to their quality? I can't tell if it is a real issue or overblown. Thank you
Petition Hi everyone, if you, a loved one or friend have a Ford EcoBoost Vehicle please take a moment to sign and share this petition. Ford has known about eco-boost Engines failing at 70,000 miles for 10 years and have yet to do anything about it.
Both of these are newish and I am specifically wondering how reliable these things are past the 100,000 mile mark. I know because of the direct injection the intake valves need the carbo build up to be blasted away roughly 100k, so I'm including that as a maintenance consideration rather than a true issue.
I've been really thinking about this engine and if I should do a tune for it in the future. Any ideas as to how much power it can put out and how to get it tuned? The mpg's for it are 23 city and 34 hwy, which is kind of sub-par when you compare to the Toyota Camry's 2.5L NA I4 engine that makes 28 city and 39 hwy. Not to mention its about 20hp less powerful than the Camry. I was thinking that having the engine be a little more powerful with the meh fuel economy would actually make me feel better about those numbers.
A few weeks ago my motor blew up in my car. It is a 2017 Ford Focus SE EcoBoost. The motor is the 3 cyl 1.0L. I am having a hard time finding a motor that is not crazy expensive. I have found some Ford EcoSport motors that are the 3 cyl 1.0L but I am not sure that they will fit in my car. Will the Ecosport motor fit in my Focus?
Hello members of r/automationgame,
Can someone create an engine similar to the 1.0 liter Ford Ecoboost engine used in Ford Fiesta, in Automation Game?
With similar characteristics like power, torque, turbo-lag, fuel economy and sound.
Specifically the 125 PS version.
This is an "Alpha" release meaning it can be full of a couple bugs and will be different from further refined versions so if this breaks your game just remove and if you'd like just let me know or either ways I'll figure it out since I have around 50+ mods installed to figure out if it interferes with another
Make sure to choose the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 and "7 Speed Automatic Transmission" for the perfect combo. I would also recommend upgrading tires to race one's because there's traction issues if you don't lol

Hi, guys!
I'm currently debating if I should buy the car in the title. I'm quite unsure if having an engine replaced under warranty is a red flag or not in this particular case.
Let me give you some background. I'm located in Eastern Europe and the car was bought from a local Ford dealership. The seller is also the very first owner. That's a good sign, as most of the cars sold locally are either from Western Europe (and thus, have a long list of previous owners) or from the USA.
First of all, it's got the manual transmission, not the faulty automatic one (DCT). The mileage now sits at ~60.000 km/40.000 miles, but here comes the plot twist. Seller says Ford replaced the engine at around 15.000 km mileage after it went EcoBoom, only one year after he bought it - in 2012. He has paperwork to prove it. That actually makes the new engine clock at ~45.000 km.
Now, about the price. The car is listed at 6.800 euro. That's around 8.400 US dollar. The seller is very firm about it. He doesn't want to negotiate whatsoever, arguing that it is accident-free and has full service history. The price is of course relative to each region, therefore that's not really my concern. I'm sure I may find a similar-specced Focus for way less than that somewhere else in the world. I'm paying cash.
My concern is obviously the engine and its long term reliability. The mileage is rather low, the trim level is Titanium. It's specced pretty okay: it has Xenon lights, keyless-go, heated seats, heated windshield, Sony audio system.
