A list of puns related to "Flora of Lebanon"
Plants like starlight creepers and strangler pods and firecracker berries are really beautiful plants that I think we should have our camp instead of going out and foraging with no luck because a lot of them make really useful stuff like radshields
Farming non indigenous species in areas with inconsistent and unpredictable weather patterns is pretty dumb.
How many posts do we need about it? They all jus turn into arguments about trans-rights anyway. Such frothy bollocks.
With all the different types of meals, drinks, drugs, and alcohols now, foraging for all the different plants I need can be a hassle. It would be a great improvement if there was a way to build maybe something like a greenhouse in our C.A.M.P, or at least be able to plant them like we do our current crops. Maybe water based plants (bloodleaf, snaptail reed, etc) can have their own special requirements as well. I think I speak for a large portion of the community in saying that it would be a great addition to the game.
And this seemed the best place: I want to become more "aware" of the world around me, to be able to identify birds and plants by species. Unfortunately it's an absolute mire of bad and single-use apps; I'm looking for recommendations on apps that could help here. I am not expecting nor particularly desire to take a picture and have AI tell me what it is, but rather to tell the app my location and what a bird looks like.
If nothing else, at least your favorite resource for learning such things.
This is going to sound so weird but Iβm putting together a list. I know some have flowers or plants already associated like Erato has myrtle and roses or Thalia has ivy and quite a few have laurel wreaths but if each muse were to choose one, what would best reflect their gift?
E.g. Kleio might choose hayacinth as a reminder of her son.
I've created this thread to pay respects to a character who never received any herself. Once showing such promise, but denied any semblance of opportunity, she has been cast aside as a mere footnote in Layton history. Once the princess in a box, she is now the forgotten daughter, the puzzle without an answer. May we remember her fondly, since no one at Level 5 seemed to.
Flora has absurd offensive power compared to basically all other TT bosses with huge ATK both visible and from her weapon, Bold Fighter proving she'll double with that absurd ATK, and her 1 round Iceberg giving her a long list of 1RKO targets.
AI targetting is based on damage dealt, and since Flora has high base defenses and her weapon effect rounding her out as well, AND she's surrounded by deflated enemies on Hard 5, she's often the lowest priority target for your units. (This is what sets her apart from a lot of other high damage TT bosses like S!Veronica)
The map layout means that the targetting issue is worsened since your units are not unlikely to walk into her range before picking off any opponents which comboed with the last issue delays your units potential of actually addressing the literal only threat in the run even further.
For people that don't auto-battle or do it with feather efficiency in mind; a lot of auto-battle teams will include random units to Cap HM with passively since doing TT normally to max can get you around 1500~ feathers per unit which literally or more than doubles your final feather count from the score reward (TL;DR THERE It means you're not using your potential optimal counters/general powerhouses that are likely capped HM already)
So ULTRA TL;DR, her dmg is top-tier, and her map/stats cheese the hell out of the AI, and you're inherently rewarded for not bringing any direct answers to certain things in TT auto-battle.
Just a bit of a summation I finally decided to post ever since I started seeing posts about, "I don't get what makes Flora so much more difficult" and junk.
Hi everyone! Bit of an inexperienced newbie here. I've been reading up on the creation myths of the Elder Scrolls world (fascinating stuff and I love all of the metaphysics!). But I have a question that I can't get out of my mind. Hopefully I can articulate it well!
The races all have their origins as descendants of the Ehlnofey (or the Hist in Argonians' case), but what about non-sentient plants and animals? Are they also thought to be descendants of the et'Ada stranded on Mundus, or are they considered more a collective natural phenomenon inherent to Mundus?
Stay at home people. It will only start spreading like wildfire. The number of cases will exponentially pop up from now on, just like any other country.
What is infuriating is seeing dense restaurants, local events going on, gatherings here and there as if nothing is happening.
If 3 new cases popped up today, that means the virus has been circulating the local communities ever since the first Iranian plane landed. This is obviously bad, because it is now silently spreading among the people. Based on the same patterns from other countries, there will be hundreds of cases by the end of March and possibly thousands, if not contained well and current practices remain the same.
We do not have the medical capabilities and resources nor the medical workforce to sustain and treat such amount of cases in ICU; if ICU cases exceeds beyond a thousand. Meaning, as the number of cases grows, the rate of mortality will further increase.
A reminder that you can shred the virus, transmitting it to other people, while showing no symptoms, up until 14 days.
Stay in your homes, protect the elder and the weak.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Coronavirus/comments/fbkhz5/9_days_ago_there_were_3_confirmed_cases_in_italy/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
This thread shows an increase of only 3 cases Italy just 9 days ago to a massive increase of 1,100 cases TODAY. Exponential Increase. 37600% increase. The same will happen here, if we are not careful. And we live much, much, closer proximity to each other than Italy as a whole population. This is not to fuck around with and be negligent as we've always been.
Sorry if this is an impossibly specific, or just flat out strange request...
I stumbled upon an illustration of a Carboniferous forest, and am now deeply fascinated by the landscapes from during this time (or just from the times of the dinosaurs), since this subject is one that has been studied for hundreds of years, I figured there must be a great book with illustrations depicting landscapes/forests from this time. But Iβve been searching for some time now and havenβt been able to find any.
I guess my problem is Iβm looking for a specific type of book with specific types of illustrations. I was hoping to find a book filled with illustrations like this, doesnβt need to be of a forest, but I really like looking at depictions of this time period when illustrated in this style.
Iβm also hoping to find a book that is hardcover, and clothbound. I am 100% open to buying a used book, as Iβm sure if a book like this exists it was most likely produced a long time ago. But the subject is so specific, I donβt even know how to search for it or where to search for a book like this. Iβve tried amazon, but havenβt found what Iβm looking for.
Does anyone know of any books like these, or if not, a reliable website that has a wide variety of old books?
Thanks so much for any suggestions!!
