A list of puns related to "Fast Money (talk show)"
I am 20 years old and I live with my gf and our 2 kids. Also my mother and my little brothers just moved in with me since they had nowhere to go. Our rent is pretty expensive everything totals up to $1600 a month.
My car broke down over a month ago and my girlfriends car broke down 2-3 weeks ago. I just fixed it myself yesterday which I normally would be happy about since Iβm not a mechanic. But rent is due on the first and I will only be able to make about $350 by that time. My gf got herself a job and starts Wednesday but she wonβt be paid until the 15th.
My mom is going to try and pay $500 but I canβt blame her if she canβt. Simply because I never talked to her about what she needs to pay until today. It was dumb but I never been in this situation before. My uncle was supposed to be sending me $700 but now he says heβs not. Only over a misunderstanding which I am trying to fix. Hopefully he sends it but if he doesnβt I donβt know how I am gonna make rent.
So where can I borrow money? Or get some sort of loan. My credit score is 720 but my history is only 8-9 months right now. Iβm really not trying to be homeless. This car breaking down affected me a lot.
Most fashion store chains exploit their in-store workers, their supply chains, and/or employ abusive labor conditions somewhere along the way.
Find and support your local thrift stores. I've had tones of great clothing finds shopping at my local ones and I saved far more money in the process.
If you really must have something from a specific brand, a) no you don't, b) you still don't, and c) if you've really gotta, Poshmark is okay as you're still buying from other people, not retail chains.
Edit: It is always a good idea to wash any clothes you purchased first before wearing them yourself. They are used after all.
Hey all new player here. Probably the most common question I see new players, including myself, is what missions to do to get money early and fast. I always see the same answers in-game and here in forum which are basically Bounties. They are easy and quick and can start right out the gate.
But what I wish someone told me was just do illegal monitor missions, essentially the fastest and easiest way Iβve found to make money where I can instantly repeat it and run into virtually no bugs or problems at all. Iβve died enough times carrying a box for beginner deliveries and waited 10-20 minutes multiple times for bounties to show up. Or failed the mirage of ways you can in bunker missions from missing enemies, and randomly spawning security.
15-45 mins for ~5-7k. As a new player this is just daunting. Illegal Monitor missions reward 20k + extra w/ Call to Arms with incredibly low risk.
I havenβt bought one ship or upgraded any part of my Avenger Titan and I hit 1 mil in less than a week with a night and day difference in reliability.
I just hop to Microtech, grab a mission for one of the comm rays, finish in less than 5 mins, rinse and repeat. My titan can fight anything that comes there, and if it gets too hot I just bounce after getting the monitors. Toughest thing I ran into was a caterpillar which I just avoided. The only downside to doing this is that there is no reputation boost, just money. Out of the numerous attempt at the missions I had to abandon it only once because the monitors didnβt show up. And that was 1 in maybe 20+ runs. Iβm about to hit 2 mil now, and still in my Titan. No bugs, extremely fast and easy money as a new player.
(F,43, UK) Despite me repeatedly asking my husband to get a job throughout our 10 years of marriage, he never did forcing me to be the breadwinner or live on benefits. I started my own business 5 years ago and had started to earn a profit and have some savings. He decided heβd like a car of his own, (we already had a family car) and spent months choosing the perfect one (pre-owned, but looking around the 2014 mark. He found one and we both went to test drive it and agreed a price at Β£7k The chap wanted a bank transfer and we only had cash so his Dad did the transfer and we were just going to give him the cash. I tried to give it to his Dad on several occasions just after weβd bought the car (July) and he kept making excuses to βgive it to him laterβ he was βin no hurryβ etc.
Fast forward to November and my husband and I separated.
He had been asking for the money for his Dad, but he still has the car.
I told him that if he keeps the car itβs his debt to his Dad and not mine, and seeing as the money was savings from my business income, that I didnβt really want to pay for half of his car.
He went to his brother who said that because the debt was made whilst we were still a couple, the money still needs to go to his Dad.
The real question is- does it?
To sum it up I need about 15k in about 10 months. I am not sure what to do any advice is welcomed!
Here is a video I made for tips on making money in 7 Days.
I have the tips here as well:
Traders will only purchase 3 stacks of items that can stack like food and resources and 3 of a non stacking item, like a firearm or tool. But these 3 sets can be sold at each trader. This limit resets at each trader restock day.
Save all the stuff. Keep everything you loot, craft, and get as rewards when questing. What you or your team don't need is also good for dukes at the trader.
Gold, silver, diamonds and old cash are all great items to sell to the trader. If you have them of course. Be on the lookout for Art of mining volume 1 as this provides a path to obtaining silver, gold, and diamonds. Also, ATM machines can be a good source of old cash as well as cash registers including the traders.
It is generally better to scrap a Level 1 item into its base resource or parts vs selling the item. The weapon/tool/armor parts will sell for more dukes than the level 1 item. The only exceptions are for Padded/leather/scrap iron and Iron armor.
Always sell Level 2 and above Weapons/Tools/Armor as they sell for more dukes than there base parts.
Attach unwanted or unused Modifications to any items that will be sold to increase its value. The higher the level item the more the modification will add.
But, Do not attach mods to level 1 items, as the separate mod sell price and item sell price is higher than the combined price.
Our final basic selling trick is to always repair items before selling to maximize the sell price of the item. This is extremely important for higher level items.
Early Game:
There are a few items that sell well in the early game including robotic turret ammo and lockpicks. These require very few resources to make and the return on investment is great.
The robotic turret ammo only requires 3 iron to make 1. Each robotic turret ammo sells for one duke plus a little rounding error. The real early money is from making stacks of 1000 and selling for 1800 dukes per sack.
Lockpicks will require investment into Lock Picking Level 1 to unlock, but for the small sum of 1 forged iron and 1 mechanical part, lockpicks net you 20 dukes. 50 Forged Iron and 50 Mechanical parts make a stack of 50 lock picks and means 1000 Dukes.
Mid Game:
Once you are established in the game and you are looking to really make some money you can start selling all the Armor, Weapons, and Tools you
... keep reading on reddit β‘So I didn't get to watch the episode of Fast Money billed as an expose on AMC and Market Manipulation when it aired live, but did DVR it and after just finishing it made me sick to my stomach. This was a thinly veiled hit piece and it couldn't be more obvious. It also showcased what I think might be their final hand to play to stop us and the squeeze from happening. Those who watched probably already came to this conclusion, but if you didn't, or didn't watch I will try to break down what I saw as best I can.
Take the journey with me...
First off, I hate TikTok. But I notice these subtle trends where everybody makes quick, fast money. How do you guys feel about this? I personally feel like itβs unrealistic. I believe in what unions can do for average people. How can we spread awareness for you know, normal people??
Hey team,
Due to personal reasons Iβve had an extremely messy week financial wise, resulting in me being a few hundred down from my normal paycheck. And having no money in my savings at all Iβm needing to make some money fast so I can pay rent on Wednesday, along with food and other bills.
I work full time so donβt have too much time on my hands before wednesday, but just needing some ideas. Cheers everyone
EDIT: If anyone in the Wellington region near Porirua needs their car cleaned, lawns mowed etc please let me know π
I gotta change my life, how do i start with minimun investments?
Hi folks of this subreddit!
In this post, I want to give new players a hint, how make ridiculous money at the start of your campaign. With ridiculous, I mean having 1 billion worth of ships after about 12hours.
All without any repurcussions reputation-wise! This will be from the perspective of the Terran Cadet start, but it is generally applicable to all starts. This is not my finding, but of many different users on this subreddit. Therefore I want to extend my thanks to all you users out there who showed me the way.
So let's get started:
As you propably already know: Crystal hunting, mining and adv. sattelites trading have all been nerfed into oblivion as of 4.0 and onwards.
The only way to fast money in ealy game now, is piracy. This means making pilots abandon their S- and M-ships or boarding L-ships and above. If you don't want to do criminal things in the game, then this is sadly not for you. And why specifically terran ships?
Answer: Not only the ships, but rather also their space: It seems to be hard-coded, that at all times, there are always a number of XL-ships present. If you don't look, you might think they just spawn in. It's propably thanks to their simplified economy in resource rich and safe sectors. Unlike the Split who are surrounded by Xenon-Strongholds. Also they don't start at war with anyone, but you can change that as player in later missions. In fact, it's the opposite really. They easily and happily destroy the Xenon and when they do go to war with anyone else, they usually steamroll them.
Again, this applies to the Terran Cadet start, but it should be valid for all gamestarts with minor differences.
Agree or disagree?
I just want to make a quick buck
I just upgraded to the cathedral and now I need 12 gold for the aristocratic papers how do I get the much money I only have 1 gold coin and I donβt want to grind for hours
Whatβs the best way to make some money fast? Iβm broke as hell and got bills to pay and wonβt get paid from my regular job in time.
If anybody could please help me I would be so very appreciative. I don't know where else to turn. I don't think I can make it to Monday.
