A list of puns related to "Euro Truck Simulator 2"
If you've already got American Truck Simulator, what is the incentive to then also get Euro Truck Simulator 2?

Happy new year to the members of this community... I've decided to buy Euro Truck Simulator 2 and in my first hour gameplay I have some questions:
Does the clutch work with sequencial shifter? I have an Thrustmaster t150 and the T3PA and can't feel the clutch... Same with the brakes can't feel them. Is there some settings that I missing?
How can I play the game online? And for the last: What is World of Trucks? I must join for better experience?
Thanks in advice
Hello I have been on a kick with chill games, ets2 is my main and I dabble a bit with farming simulator. I love games where you just slowly build up a company or funds/assets and do repetitive easy tasks that you can just turn your brain off for. It is really nice to do it after getting home from work.
I was curious what other games are like this? It doesnt need to be trucks, it can be anything really as long as its relaxing, semi mindless, and there is some sort of economy to it.
Thanks!
Hello there!
I'm called Andrei, I'm 14 and live with my parents, in the UK!
We've moved here from Romania for a better future, renovated our home, and are slowly getting back from the bank debts. I often spend my days helping my parents out with household stuff like washing the dishes, walking my dog outside and other things like that, or just resting from school (I had freetime until now, Christmas holiday)
I've asked my parents both if they could buy me this DLC (and the Road To Black Sea DLC) but they said they still can't get me games, not only because we still aren't that financially stable, but also because games aren't as important as actual necessities like food and other important things that we have to buy. My sisters are a bit.. spoiled.. so they always make a scene at every single store, and my parents end up having to buy them things just to stop them from behaving like literal monke. And they don't just want candy, that would have been nice..
I want the DLC because: - You can explore Eastern Europe, which also means more jobs
- It would be nice to have some new zones to explore, Poland, Hungary Czech Republic and Slovakia
- More driving, more fun, less boredom, less stress! (Waiting for the thesis results is painful)
- Listening to Polish Cow whilst driving through Poland! (YAY!!!)
- My dad is a hazardous material (acid kind of substances) trucker, and he often has to drive through Poland, Germany, Hungary to transport said substances, so It'd be nice to experience that, in ETS2
Steam ID - I pride myself with my profile.
Going East!, the DLC - I hope I'll have luck in getting it!
Ways you can gift me this DLC:
Friending and gifting method: Friend me (Steam ID is above), add the DLC to cart, and gift it normally.
Gift a wallet key method: Friend me like before, but this time, on the Steam Wallet menu, select the 4$ card and gift it to me.
DM me the DLC key: Message me via Reddit, or, if you want, friend me on Steam.
DM me the Wallet key: Message me via Reddit, like before, or friend me on Steam.

... keep reading on reddit β‘I use an RTX3060Ti and an i7-10700k@4.7ghz, 32gb ram, and at 1440p on one monitor with everything cranked up i get 60fps as an average. Anything under 400% scaling and the anti-aliasing looks horrible, but the scaling has a huge performance hit.
However, I am going to be getting triple 1440p monitors, and I know I may be not able to run the game at 400% scaling across the three monitors, so is there any tips for optimising the game and improving anti-aliasing so I can get a stable 60fps+?
I'm thinking of buying an Oculus Quest 2 to finally be able to play VR games, and I immediately wondered what it would be like to play Euro Truck Simulator 2 (or American Truck Simulator, these days) in VR. And that made me think about how I also bought into other expensive technology directly because I wanted to play ETS2 in new ways. Like I got TrackIR 5 head-tracking so I could look around in the cab, and I bought a Logitech G29 wheel just to have good force-feedback from the road. And if I get a Quest 2 and my PC doesn't run VR well enough, then I'll be upgrading my PC **because** I want to play a truck sim in VR.
All of this to say that the Truck Simulator franchise is probably the most approachable way to get into sim gaming and I really think everyone should give it a try. There's free demos on Steam.
