A list of puns related to "Erased (manga)"
I guess I wanna specify which parts of Erased. I'm already familiar with time travel anime like Steins;Gate (my personal fav). What stood out to me about Erased is the sense of nostalgia, Satoru's relatability, the intense tone it sometimes had, and the willingness to deal with heavy topics. What anime can y'all think of that is similar in some of these aspects? Sorry that this is pretty specific lol, it's just that these are the kind of things that made Erased stand out to me. Thanks a lot
I decided to read the manga after watching the anime thinking it could not get any better but man⦠it gets. I feel like the characters are better developed as well as the ending of the story. highly recommend for those who really enjoyed the anime like me

... keep reading on reddit β‘So, in general, I want to read something like going back to the past and solving a mystery, or mc somehow finds himself in the past and has to use his knowledge from the modern era to solve problems.
Some mangas that I've read and liked are Sengoku Komachi Kuroutan, Sousei no Taiga, Suicide Island, and.. the ones mentioned in the title.
I don't want those isekai ecchi, harem gathering mc stories like the 'realist hero summoned or something' or the 'knight's and magic' one, they become real boring real fast.
Thanks in advance :D
Same as the title. I think he also lets the silent girl stay at his place for a little bit.
Im wondering if the manga satoru it real or not and if it is where can i find it?
Iβm trying to find the English versions of the manga dose anyone know where I could find any of them? Iβm not sure if I should be asking this here but if thereβs a actual sub Reddit for stuff like this please let me know
Yes, you read that correctly. It was an anime/manga series that cured me from my toxic redpill mentality. It wasn't words of wisdom from Reddit posts. It wasn't real-life experience. It wasn't debates with the other side. It was a fucking manga/anime series that broke me free of toxicity.
The series is about a 29 year old man who goes back in time to his 5th grade body to save a socially outcast girl in his class from being murdered. It's a tragic, sweet, memorable story that will stay with me for years to come. It made me realize that there's more to human connections than just "sex." It made me realize how great it feels to have an emotional connection with someone. Up until that point, I'd only ever used women for sex. I avoided falling in love with women because I was convinced by RedPill mentality that "falling in love" was a sign of weakness. Because once you fall into that trap, the woman has power over you (or so I thought).
But while I was reading the manga, it made me remember those days of what it was like to feel adolecence love. The story perfectly captures that innocent feeling of falling in love and truly caring for someone. Not for reasons like "sex," but for the sake of caring for them.
Nowadays, I feel more satisfaction taking care of a girl MORE than the act of having sex. And I know what people are going to say "you probably don't have sex with cute girls." WRONG! My dating life is just fine. I've been with enough attractive women to be satisfied. It's just that, ever since I've read that manga/anime series, It made me realize that there's more to relationships than just sex.
Nowadays, whenever I go on dates. I like cooking for the girl. I like treating her nicely. I like listening to her stories and making her feel happy/wanted/important. I was never like this. Back in my Redpill days, I'd just fuck her and be done with her.
The manga/anime made me stop having an animosity towards women. In fact, I think I get along better with women nowadays than men. I know this all sounds crazy, but if it worked for me, it might work for you. I hope you guys get the chance to see "ERASED." If you can't read the manga, just watch the anime. It's easily bingeable (only 12 episodes), so you should be able to finish it in 1 night.
Can anyone relate to this, by any chance?
What the title says. Which would you recommend and why?
Would prefer under $10 per volume, other than bigger ones like Erased or the Eva omnibuses, and rare series like Steins;Gate and Kill la Kill
Hi can anyone link me to a website where I can buy the english version of erased vol 2 manga because I have checked everywhere and cant find it, thanks!
I have watched or read erased but I know people say that the anime has a bad ending, but ive also heard that the anga ending is different and better, is that true?
I'm begging you, do NOT read any further unless you finished watching the ERASED anime. It's spoiler territory from here on out.
What a way to start off 2020...
I randomly picked up the manga while I was at the library. I dropped off my brother for tutoring and had a couple hours to spare. Started reading the first volume of Erased just by random chance. I'd heard about the series before but I never gave it a chance because I mostly read seinen/action series. Boy, am I ever GLAD that I started reading.
Immediately after reading the first omnibus volume, I went to my library's website and started ordering all the other volumes. I was surprised how "hooked" I was with the manga. I couldn't wait to see what happened next. I fell in love with the story and characters. I wanted Kayo to be happy. I felt so fucking bad for her. Seeing her get abused was hard. But when Satoru started being friends with her and then seeing her smile/be happy for the first time in her life was heartwarming! I don't remember ever being this happy for a character. I was practically cheering her on every time something positive happened to her. I don't know why that was. Maybe it's because I have a younger cousin who reminds me of Kayo. She's in 2nd grade and is pretty much like a little sister to me. It would drive me batshit INSANE if I ever found out she was being abused. So that's probably why I wanted Kayo to experience happiness. It's because I saw a part of my cousin inside of Kayo.
Anyways, after finishing the manga, I felt like there was a hole in my heart. Never felt like this before. The characters and story stuck with me long after I finished reading it. It's been a week so far. I was very satisfied with the ending. Even though Kayo didn't end up with Satoru, it didn't matter to be because the romance wasn't the main point of the story. It was friendship. It was the importance of helping those who were alone and abused. Pulling them out of a helpless situation.
Seeing adult Kayo happy and healthy is what really mattered to me. Seeing her with a baby and smiling, all I could think was "YES! She's happy! She made it through that rough times in her life!" Don't get me wrong, there was definitely some bitter-sweetness where I wanted her to end up with Satoru (after all the bonding they did). But when you take a step back and look at the grand scale of things, the story was never meant to be about the 2 of them falling in love. The main point was to SAVE her from t

I often see everybody describe Tokyo Revengers as Erased but better but do you really think it is comparable? And if so, then what do you prefer???
The anime was cool and the ending was good but I felt so annoyed because ik it could have had such a better ending altho that's my opinion let's hear yours.
For those who want another depressing/emotionally-draining manga series similar to "GoodNight PunPun," I highly recommend "ERASED" by Kei Sanbe. In fact, I'd say this series is more similar to PunPun than any of Inio Asano's other works. A lot of readers who enjoyed PunPun end up reading more manga from Asano, hoping that they'll find something similar to PunPun. Although Asano's other works are fantastic, they're all very different from PunPun. So hopefully, reading ERASED will fill that void in your heart if you're looking for something similar.
The only major difference is that ERASED has time-travel elements (the main character can go back in time), but please don't let that scare you away. It is very much a character-driven story at the end of the day, similar to PunPun. The story is about a 29 year-old man named Satoru who goes back in time to 5th grade in order to save a socially-outcasted girl from being murdered.
Both series deal with themes such as child abuse, romance, regretful thinking, and "the dangers of loneliness/ social isolation." Both series also follow characters from childhood all the way to adulthood. One of the most important morals I've learned from reading PunPun is the importance of having a solid friends-group. Also the dangers of solitude and isolation. No matter how much of an introvert you are, it is not an excuse to stop searching for friends who care about you for who you are (and not artificial crap like money/fame/status). Both series emphasize how important it is for introverted people to come out of their shell, and how not doing so may be a fate worse than death.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This series does have an anime adaptation. HOWEVER, I strongly suggest reading the manga instead. The anime unfortunately cut out a lot of important segments that were crucial to the story and character-development. Important details concerning characters' backstories and even an ENTIRE ARC was cut out in the anime. This is likely due to the anime studio's limited budget and time constraints.
It doesn't have to be similar to Erased but I want a anime/manga where the MC goes back in time with the knowledge of the future and uses the knowledge to help others.
Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks.
Looking for a complete or near complete collection of the "Erased" manga. I can negotiate prices according to your offers. If a set is not near completion but you have quite a few volumes, I am willing to consider as well.
I just browsed this sub and i know how much this has been discussed but I just want to let it out. Very sorry if you are tired of seeing this. Kayo not being with Satoru really felt like a crushing blow.
And i don't mean that Satoru is a "cuck" or "deserves pussy". No, pls not that. But the story really built a beautiful bond between the two irrespective of their weird situation. I would have loved to see Satoru wake up in the present already with Kayo or at least waking up after the coma to find Kayo is a successful woman. Making her just a mother at the end to show how happy she seemed cheap to me.
Like I know people suffered a lot, but making a part of the story about the post comatose Satoru interacting and connecting with this grown and successful Kayo and then ending up together would have been more satisfying than her marrying Hiromi and just having a kid.
Also, their mental age gap would have been non-existent since Satoru was kind of brain dead for 15 years and his physical age and mentally age would have synced perfectly because of it. Creating so many opportunities for a great reunion only to see a small conversation between Kayo and Satoru where Kayo is being a mom.
There is nothing wrong with being happy with someone else or having a family but considering how great the series was building such bonds and brought in the coma to give the perfect opportunity for Satoru and Kayo to connect, it just saddens me to see how the series ended.
Also with respect to his mother, I would have loved it if they had a meaningful and deep conversation after Satoru woke up or some sort of an inner monologue where he realises how important she has been for him.
Just my opinion on the matter(That you might have heard thousands of times).
Edit:-
I just rewatched the Christmas tree , museum scene and the birthday party scene(where she promised him a gift). It just makes me feel so sad now

hello hello! im here for the sub event and to review the anime that was recommended to me by u/Siphyr: Erased
(all spoilers will be covered)
Erased, known in Japan as Boku dake ga Inai Machi, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kei Sanbe. It was serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine from June 2012 to March 2016, and is licensed in English by Yen Press. 29-year-old Satoru Fujinuma is sent back in time 18 years to prevent the events leading to his mother's death, which began with a series of kidnappings while he was in 5th grade.
first of all, the story is intriguing. i ended every episode wanting to watch the next episode immediately. i love that they go through their process of thoughts and strategies. also, it reminds me of detective conan (which is a show that i truly admire as a kid) >!where he had to pretend to be a kid when hes actually much older.!< >!really thought Kenya was gonna find out that Satoru went back in time.!< >!even though i like to spoil myself with my own theories and get annoyed when the mc's dont suspect the bad guy, i do like that Satoru didnt thought itd be the teacher until the last few episodes because it leaves suspense in the air. but the teacher was still too nice to be true :(!< >!also, when i saw the blue butterfly i was like, igor? lol!<
next, the characters. all main ones are very likeable, no annoying little brats that makes you wanna drown them in a lake. Satoru's mom was OP. Kenya is my favourite. Kayo was precious, she deserves all the hugs. >!relationship between Kayo and Satoru was really cute.!< >!the last scene with Satoru and Yashiro on the roof was emotional.!< >!last but not least, fuck Kayo's mom!<
the ending really gives you a feeling of satisfaction. >!no one died, Yashiro was arrested, what more could you ask, right?!< >!and i like that he still meets Airi at the end even though so many things have changed.!< >!when he saw the butterfly, i wished he had another revival and it ends on a cliffhanger, kinda segways into the second season, but it didnt :')!<
before i go, awesome op, definitely going in my playlist. go listen to it or not, i dont care
as for recommendation, if you like death no
