Stereolab - Emperor Tomato Ketchup - Full Album (8-Bit)

So with the title I probably get your attention !
I discovered Stereolab through this album 3 years ago and I didnβt understand why this opus was so acclaimed. I found it mostly easy (except Percolator, Metronomic Underground and Noise of Carpet that are perfect). So I gave up Stereolab and I didnβt give them a new chance (Shame on me)
Until.... a few months ago. I listened to Dots and Loops and I cried because it was magic. I heard a lot of Tortoise (one of my fav band) in this album (John McEntire producer)... I feel ashamed that I disliked the band in the past... Then I listened to Cobra, Mars Audiac, Transient, Sound Dust, Margarine... just mind-blowing.... I didnβt know a band could be so perfect and not doing the same thing... It was one of the first time I fell in love with a band like that..
However my opinion remains the same about Emperor especially after listening to all their albums on repeat every day since a couple of months. I dont know why I donβt enjoy this album so much like the others... maybe it was too accessible and less experimental.... ETK is a little bit overrated and overshadows other albums.
Does anyone else agree?

I watched it the other night and itβs one of the most fucked up movies Iβve ever seen... was wondering if anyone here has any experience with it, and would also be interested in comparing it to the record? Or perhaps you remember a statement from someone in the band about the movie.
Alternatively, if you know of any other pieces of cinema that have inspired them, sound off. I think in the oldest interview with them I can find (93?), Tim says his favorite movie is O Lucky Man, and Laetitia says her favorite movie is Monsieur Hulotβs Holiday.

Hello I am making Korean fried chicken and the recipe calls for 3 tbsp ketchup. My mum doesn't eat ketchup so I ma substituting it with tomato paste and a splash of vinegar. How much tomato paste would you recommend for 3 tbsp ketchup?
What I like about it is the electronic feel and how each song builds up.
