A list of puns related to "Elms in Australia"
Located in Perth, Australia. I got this thing as a gift on February 8th. Would like some advice on pruning it / soil additives / anything to keep this thing alive please!
Initially had it inside for three days (sometimes with AC on). Then put it outside on an East facing balcony four stories up, quite windy. It is slightly shaded but the weather has been hot 30 to 40 C (86 to 104 F). See the third photo for the shade. Thin mesh screens. After lunch it gets no direct sunlight.
I only watered it twice in the first 12 days thinking that was all it needed. Then the leaves started to curl and I checked the soil, very dry.
Since then I've been misting it's body with a spray bottle and watering it once or twice a day. Now I think I've over watered it as the water just came flooding out the base
The leaves are falling off and I'm not sure the best course to try and save it.
I'm reading through all the help topics and tutorials but I think this needs some fast pro tips.

I'm still wondering wtf just happened. About half an hour ago I was walking south on Bay, completely lost in my head about the beer I was about to pick up at the Atrium when I felt a wad of spit hit me in the side of my face which brought me back to reality and had a woman calling/yelling at me "a fucking bitch" and told me "to stop fucking looking" at her. I was confused I didn't even know where it was coming from. I looked around and some people stopped and looked as if I had deserved it and when I asked aloud, "is there a cop around?" the 2-3 people watching promptly walked away. On my way back on up Bay the woman was sitting on a bench just glaring at everyone. So that's a first for me and a great way to start the week.
And the fact that it has so many variants makes it well worth the 500 atom price tag, IMO.
Freddy Krueger kills you in your sleep. If you donβt sleep, youβre good. Crystal meth wouldβve kept everyone alive and awake long enough to figure out a plan to kill Freddy. Movie wouldβve been done in like 20 minutes. Apologies if this has been covered previously.
Hello,
I've been following elm from quite some times and recently started fiddling with my own UI library, which made me converge towards an architecture that is very similar to the Elm one, however it seems to me that it lacks some functionality that would make it really shine.
My first concerns is about state being completely centralised, which means everything is a big monolith. This has for sure a lot of benefits, however it can make some complex app not really efficient; for example and as far I've understood, on each keystroke on an input field, the whole VDOM needs to be recreated and diffed.
The other part is about a missing Context. The example here would be a i18n library which would need to know the current language. Now we have to manually pass down this info on each and every component, even though most of them will not really care for it.
Last, I would like to understand what is a good way to implement a suspend-like API in elm? In case you are not familiar with it, imagine that you have images (or some other async resource) on your page and you would like to show it once all of them have been properly loaded and in the meantime show some loading indicator.
That's said, I believe elm has great potential and would really like to start using it, I really like how explicit it is and it seems to decrease the brain overload that often comes with UI
Is there any way to spit plain HTML? I'm really trying to use Elm but not finding a way to write HTML created by copywriters is painful...
I only could use it for some little parts of webs but without this I feel very limited π
Maybe markdown?
