Ashley follows and interacts with a lot of the cast and writers on instagram.

Eliza follows all the Carrington's, Adam Huber, and Sam Adegoke on instagram and a lot of the writers and cast follow her too.

As I've been deconstructing, I was asked by a TBM if I was upset about polygamy. My answer was that I could once believe that God had commanded it, but all of the details of its implementation lead me to believe instead that it was not of God. I've been collecting a list of all the items that would be weighing on my shelf, if I still had a shelf, and I want to share the polygamy section of that list. As I'm still talking with the aforementioned TBM, it would be helpful if anyone can find anything wrong with my sources, any bias or logical fallacies, a logical leap that I don't support with some reasoning or evidence, anything wrong with this list, please tear it to shreds and let me know.

It's kind of long; I'd apologize for that fact, but ... it's not MY fault. Some of you will just skip over this as "nothing new", but I haven't seen anything like this put together quite this way, and I'm hoping that there's at least something novel herein, maybe at least in the organization / presentation, and some of the issues I tie together.

Are there any additional points anybody would add? I'd love to make this list positively exhaustive, but I am looking for solid reasoning, reliable historical sources, etc. No rhetoric.

1. Joseph did not follow Section 132

2. Joseph "married" Fanny Alger, had bad timing
   1. "Although the revelation was recorded in 1843, evidence indicates that some of the principles involved in this revelation were known by the Prophet as early as 1831" -Introduction to D&C 132
   2. The evidence referred to above is simply the fact that he had a relationship with Fanny in the early 1830s. He "clearly" had to have known about the polygamy injunction at that time, because otherwise that relationship would have just been him having an affair.
   3. Sealing power was restored to JS on April 3, 1836, long after his fling with Fanny
   4. No record of an official marriage docum

So has anyone heard of Fillmore because I've got a reboot idea for the show including putting several other Disney shows in it as a shared universe, inculding The Owl House and Amphibia as well as some other Disney shows which includes Star Vs The Forces of Evil.

Who was going to tell me this book is hilarious? I'm only in chapter 21, but Eliza and Darcy unconsciously flirting by screwing with each other; the straight man comedy duo of Mr. and Mrs. Bennett; Mr. Collins' pomposity and just bullheaded self assurance (i.e.deciding he totally can introduce himself to Darcy, even though everyone says not to); the entire scene where >!he proposes to Eliza!< and the aftermath; Mr. Bennett's line about >!having to choose which parent Eliza would lose if she agreed or disagreed to marry Collins!<. The narrator of the audio book I'm listening to is absolutely selling the comedy as well.

When I read it in English class, it was treated as a very straightforward period romance novel, with lots of dramatic interpretation and study of each character in a very serious manner. It's so clearly satire of those exact novels now that I'm reading it as an adult; I feel like there would have been so much more to get out of studying it as a satire then. And it would have been a more enjoyable read!

It’s a Christmas wish come true! Season’s Greetings from Season Five of DYNASTY, back to give you the best present of all: more Carrington drama. After Eva, Fallon’s (Elizabeth Gillies) scorned and lovesick assistant, shot her, Fallon lay bleeding out on the campaign gala floor with her marriage to Liam (Adam Huber) also circling the drain. Will she survive the internal damage? Will her marriage survive the external damage? It’s anyone’s guess...

Also racing for his life - electorally speaking - Blake (Grant Show) steadily built a lead in the Georgia Senate race, thanks to Cristal (Daniella Alonso) employing a little Carrington manipulation of her own. This season, the marriage starts off in rough waters, but soon hits smooth sailing as Cristal finds herself at the helm of a new position of power. With Blake’s airline soaring, it may be time for Blake and Cristal to consummate their marriage by joining together as one... business. The problem is, in this world, amassing more power just makes you more of a target for the people waiting to take you down.

Now adorned in her finest prison orange, Alexis (Elaine Hendrix) finds herself behind bars for a crime she didn’t commit. While one child – Adam (Sam Underwood) – clearly was more involved than he’s letting on, another child – Amanda (Eliza Bennett) – does her best to exonerate her mother. A game of cat and mouse ensues as Amanda looks to settle some scores with Adam, leading to a season-long rivalry. As Adam builds up his new company this year, Amanda will do whatever she can to make him suffer.

Meanwhile, while Jeff (Sam Adegoke) is no longer going into outer space, he’s still going into dangerous places. He soon finds himself in the midst of a dangerous war that he’s not sure he can win. At the same time, Dominique (Michael Michele) looks to expand her reach in the fashion industry, giving Kirby (Maddison Brown) another chance to return to a career that almost destroyed her. Culhane (Robert C. Riley) sets out to find an everlasting love and Sam (Rafael de la Fuente) opens his heart only to uncover a devastating family secret.

This season is all about legacy and what it means to leave something worthwhile behind. As we head towards our 100th episode, there will be no shortage of caviar and champagne, hair-pulling and pageantry, and maybe even a few new faces with old secrets ready to solidify their own dynasty.

Dynasty Season 5 begins Monday, December 20 on The CW with two back-to-back episodes! The first hour is called “Let’s Start Over Again” and airs at 8PM ET/PT; here’s how that one is described:

WINTER WONDERLAND – Fallout from Blake’s (Grant Show) gala finally begins to settle and Blake and Cristal (Daniella Alonso) work on the next phase of his campaign.  In his hour of need, Liam (Adam Huber) turns to Sam (Rafael de la Fuente) and Kirby (Maddison Brown). As Alexis (Elaine Hendrix) remains in jail and proclaims her innocence, Amanda (Eliza Bennett) sets out to see who might be responsible for the murder.  Adam (Sam Underwood) continues to be suspicious of Amanda, and the feeling is reciprocated.  Meanwhile, Jeff (Sam Adegoke) starts to heal.  Dominique (Michael Michele) still doesn’t believe everything Jeff said when he was sick but Culhane (Robert C. Riley) believes there may be some truth to Jeff’s suspicions.  The episode was written by Christopher Fife and directed by Michael Allowitz (#501).  Original airdate 12/20/2021.

Blake (Grant Show) and Cristal (Daniella Alonso) come to agreement regarding his political future. I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Here are the names which are at least 75% more frequent in each state compared to each other (CA vs NY and then CA vs WA). For example if the frequency of Chase in New York was 0.12% (or 1 in 800 babies born) and it was only 0.05% in California (or 1 in 2000 babies born) then Chase is 2.5 times more popular in New York than it is in California, although there are still kids named Chase in California.

They are sorted by popularity and the name with the biggest difference is starred. The New York boy list starts with Moshe which ranked 57th on the state's popularity list and they just get more uncommon from there. Moshe was about 30 times more popular in New York than in California though. The NY girl list is a bit more popular.

The California vs Washington list had very clear outliers on the Washington side and the California list is dominated by Spanish names. The Washington list seems be what I call trending names but a mix of the modern and the traditional style.

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.

Alright folks, it's been a very competitive nomination round, but after 400+ entries, countless votes, multiple ties, and several late surges, we've finalized the ballot for the /r/DCcomics Best of 2021 Awards. We selected 5-6 nominees for each category, but some contests were so tight that we had to let in a 7th or even 8th nominee.

The ballot itself will be posted some time tomorrow, when I get around to making it. We'll keep it open for about a week. So has anyone heard of Fillmore because I've got a reboot idea for the show including putting several other Disney shows in it as a shared universe, inculding The Owl House and Amphibia as well as some other Disney shows.

Excuse me but I've got an idea on how I'd reboot Fillmore

STORY STRUCTURE

The story structure for the Fillmore reboot would have parallels but cleverly smartly parody cop shows, most notably cop shows of today like CBS’s Blue Bloods, NBC’s Chicago PD, and ABC’s The Rookie (and not the baseball Disney movie of the same name); however, it would also take inspiration from action films like John Woo’s Hard Boiled, and because of magic being in Fillmore and his friend could also go on exciting adventures outside of school as a Story Arc. Some plots would be ripped from the headlines and it would also tackle as well more serious issues with policing (police brutality, justice reform, etc)

Also in the reboot there would be a massive shootout once or twice per episode inspired by John Woo’s Hard Boiled shootouts. (with both sides using laser blasters and Airsoft as opposed to real guns after all it is a Disney show.) There will also be chase scenes as well (and sometimes a combination of the two)

Also, some seasons would have a 9-13 episode story arc and a central Big Bad in each of those arcs and a TV movie saga based on Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga.

HOW LONG THE SERIES WOULD LAST

It would last around 3 seasons with more should the fans want more with each season being 26 episodes each

DISTRIBUTION

It would be a Disney+ exclusive and only shown in the US and US allied countries. China will have no export.

CROSSOVERS WITH OTHER DISNEY SHOWS

The shows that Fillmore would crossover with would be Wander Over Yonder, Milo Murphy’s Law, Phineas and Ferb, The 7D, Star Vs The Forces of Evil, Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series, The Owl House, Big City Greens Lilo & Stitch, Amphibia, Gravity Falls, Teamo Supremo, The Ghost and Molly McGee, Future-Worm and DuckTales (2017) as a shared universe (Think of the MCU). Elements from other Disney properties (Like K.C Undercover’s The Other Side) would be used as well.

THE RATING

The rating would be in the TV-Y7 FV range, with lots of Airsoft/blaster gunfights and instances of brutality of students inflicted by Safety Patrollers, especially by Sasha. Language would be limited to insults (like grop, florp, etc)

THE ART STYLE

I would go for a blend of Amphibia and Ducktales 2017 art and animation style for all characters.
