Hi guys, I'm not from Waterford myself (East Cork), but I'm going on a date with a lovely girl in a few days and I just wanted to get your guys' input.
Any suggestions as to what we could do, where we could go, etc? I think we're leaning towards drinks, but if there are any nice cafés around I'd love to know too, just in case. Or any nice spots in general.
I'd really appreciate any help guys. I'm really nervous and want this to go well.

Hi r/waterford, I'm planning to do the Greenway and then camp somewhere in Dungarvan if possible. Does anyone know anywhere around the town or beaches that it's possible to wild camp in?
As promised, a write up on the journey from Pembroke Wales to Dungarvan Ireland.
The Ferry there: I got the 02:45 Ferry as I wanted to spend the day in BikeparkWales doing downhill trails. I built the bike in the Ferry terminal car park, and parked the car in front of the terminal for free. There are some unsavory characters coming through so I wouldn't leave any valuable son show, but the ferry terminal operates at all hours, and has a heavy police presence for arriving and departing ferries. Like with most car ferries, you ride on with the cars, so I waited in the car keeping warm until late as possible to check in, then went through. Being the early hours and a ferry port, it was of course cold, so maybe shorts were a bad idea! The ferry at that time is really quiet, I;ve been on it before, and it quite customary to stretch out and take some of the seating for a makeshift bed, I brought a sleeping bag for this purpose. The ferry takes four hours and I reckon I get about three and a half hours of sleep.
First leg, Rosslare Harbour to Wellington Bridge: Cycled straight off the ferry and got moving, there is a hill out of the port to get you awake! This was at 07:00 so was good to get the blood flowing. A short distance up the main road (Very wide, lots of room for trucks etc), was my turn off to smaller country roads. I went through some nice villages, stopped at a deli for some breakfast. The drivers of vehicles have all been very considerate, leaving more than enough space, the five closest passes were actually from UK registered cars, and one polish registered truck. This part of the journey was mainly though nice quiet little villages, and really peaceful despite being the morning "rush hour".
Second leg, Wellington Bridge to Waterford: I had to take a busier road, but the commuters were all very considerate. I'm from Ireland originally, but from a different part of the country, and the drivers here are much more polite than where I am from. The wind got particularly bad because a storm was coming in, I may have screamed into the wind a few times! There are plenty of sights along the way, I just didn't have the time for little deviations, but if anyone does, I recommend Hook lighthouse, I was there as a kid! On the very fast downhill into waterford, I had to get on the brakes as I was catching up with cars too much, I ended up loosening a spoke, I popped into a local bike shop (Waterford cycle centre, right by the city centre tower) and got lovely
