A list of puns related to "Dinosaurs (TV series)"
Okay this has been bugging me for years.
I believe it was the early to mid 2000's. I used to watch a show called Beastmaster every Sunday with my parents. This show came on after, but I was less interested in it and never really sat through it. My mom however watched it, liked it, but doesn't know the name either.
The theme seemed to be a group of people stranded somewhere. Maybe an alien planet, maybe just a magical lost island idk. BUT I remember there were this big creatures out in the woods, my mother thinks they were dinosaurs and possibly they were researching them. They built some sort of tree house to live in as whatever was on the ground/in the forest??? couldn't reach them up there?
Before someone suggests it, it might not be The Lost World according to my parents, I also didn't find it familiar. But 20+ year old memories can be fuzzy, so I want to put it there as a possibility. But I really think it was something else.
There was a video series (possibly a television series that was taped?) that I'm pretty sure I had at least two entries in on VHS that was exactly what I included in the title - an educational, aimed-at-kids, video series about dinosaurs and paleontology. It featured two hosts - a younger guy with sandy blonde hair (as I recall) and an older guy with dark hair, glasses (I think), and I'm pretty sure a mustache. They talked about dinosaurs and I feel like there were probably animations at various points to illustrate what they were discussing and I think they maybe went to a few digs as well. The thing that really, really sticks out is that at the end of one of the episodes/videos, the older guy with the mustache pulls the younger guy aside and, kind of freaked out, tells him that he thinks he's been studying dinosaurs so much that he's starting to become one(!). He pulls up his sleeve to reveal some scales on his arm (clearly painted on). It's a very late-80s/early-90s weird kind of gag, but I remember thinking it was frightening, weird, and cool back in the day. Would love to have some insight into these two weirdos and what this is from. Thanks!
Hi
I would be very grateful if anybody could share this childhood memory. Many Thanks.
Valley Of The Dinosaurs
I played the character between 1991 and 2001. After leaving the show in 2001 and moving to Los Angeles, I continued doing Barney performances, personal appearances and training other Barneys in other countries." I'm also the body of the Hippest Bear in the world, Hip Hop Harry. The Hip Hop Rapping, Break Dancing Teddy Bear.

Used to watch the show in early 2010's, am from an Eastern Europian country. The animation looked somewhat western, which is why I'm pretty sure it was a dubbed version. Here are some plot elements I remember: in the very beginning, there was a group of adult dinosaurs with their children (all different species, I don't think the kids are related to each other). It is possible the big meteorite is involved somewhere at this point, and the dinosaurs were trying to somehow escape it (or some other natural disaster). The parents found a cave and let their children sleep there, cause the adults were too big to fit in. The kids woke up and realised that they parents had disappeared. They wandered off and met another adult dinosaur, who was green, slim and bipedal. He lead them to a cave, where was another dinosaur β this one I'm pretty sure was big and had a deep voice. Inside the cave, there was a time-travelling portal that looked like a liquid (maybe a lake or a giant cauldron). I think the adults came to the conclusion that the parents had somehow ended up in the wrong time. They decided to help the kids find their parents. Each episode revolves around the children travelling to different eras of human history, most of the times not finding their parents there and just solving problems for the humans they meet.
As for the main cast, I think there are ~6 dinosaur kids of different species, mostly (if not completely) male. From what I can remember, there is one pterodactyl and one triceratops? I'm 100% sure there is a little dinosaur that wears the shell of the egg he hatched out of. He wears the top part as a hat, and the bottom one like trousers. He is also very cowardly, walks on two legs and hides inside the shell when he gets scared. His skin is light gray.
The finale of the show is a two-parter, I reckon. The children travel to the future and find out that their parents are kept inside a lab(?) of an evil scientist. There is some fighting, the kids free the prisoners and return home.
I remember a bit of the opening theme song, but, sadly, it's in Russian. I'm gonna provide both the Russian lyrics I remember and a literal translation:
ΠΠ΄Π΅-ΡΠΎ Π½Π° ΡΠ²Π΅ΡΠ΅ Π΄ΠΈΠ½ΠΎΠ·Π°Π²ΡΠΈΠΊΠΈ ΠΆΠΈΠ²ΡΡ / Somewhere in the world little dinosaurs live
Π ΠΏΠΎ ΠΏΠ»Π°Π½Π΅ΡΠ΅ Π³ΡΠ»ΡΡΡ ΠΈ ΠΏΠΎΡΡ / And over the planet they walk and sing
Unfortunately, that's all I can think of. Thanks in adavnce
There was an old series that I recall was broadcasted together with cartoons, was a kid's programm.
However it was dark environment, the plot was like a team fighting against dinosaurs with T-Rex being the bad guy that I don't remember ever seeing the episode they fought him.
It was not a cartoon, not drawn. It was like real rubber dinosaur dolls, and I remember one of the weapons used frequently against them were real saw discs that cut their flesh, so like real rubber cut by real saw disc missiles or attached to a robot or machine or craft.
I don't remember how the good guys looked at all, or anything else really. From dinosaurs I remember only pterodactyl and the T-Rex, and the saw discs cutting rubber flesh.
If someone can remember, that would great as I want to see how it ends :) Thanks for reading.
EDIT: A big thank you to zagatile who found it! And thank you all for your replies!
This is my idea for a possible future Jurassic Park television series. This is not animated or aimed for younger audiences like Camp Cretaceous but an adult series. NBC, the company that owns Universal and the rights to the Jurassic movies, has thier own streaming service known as Peacock Tv. I belive they will go the same route as other services like HBO Max or Disney Plus and create new content based on their IP's like the Mandalorian or the new Peacemaker show. The Jurassic franchise is pretty much the big moneymaker for Universal, in front of properties like Fast and Furious and even the Despicable Me franchise so why not create a Tv series that's exclusive to the streaming service?
As for what the show may be, here are my ideas. The idea that I'm most hopeful for, is a series which is a darker retelling of the story that's more true to the Chrichton novel. Another idea is a prequel series which follows on the construction of the first park. The final idea is an anthology series tied to the Jurassic World movies, with each episode telling a different story about dinosaurs in our modern world
I have memories of a TV series like this airing in the UK in the mid 2000s but cannot find it anywhere.
There are a few scenes of it that I remember, one of which establishes that the dinosaurs did not in fact die 65 million years ago and in the time Inbetween developed technology to disguise themselves as human. Another has two of the main characters, a female disguased Brontosaurus talking with a male disguised T Rex in the back of a vehicle about how humanity is weak or something to that end.
I had the most obscure flashback to a TV show I swear was real... In it I believe humans (maybe one?) lived in a parallel world where dinosaurs evolved into the intelligent species. The only detail I can really remember is the "librarian dinosaurs" would learn better while running on a treadmill...did I really just type that :/
Edit: I don't think it was a comedy and it was live action (the humans anyway). I can't believe it's the "treadmill helps us think" line is the only thing I've got to go on.
Any help would be massively appreciated <3
Hello! This post regards a mainly an animated children's cartoon.
There was a children's TV show that started off with this scene of live action children and an archeologist digging and dusting off dinosaur bones in a archeological fossil dig pit thing. The older man who is the archeologist states says something about dinosaurs and then they do the typical wobbly blurry scene change to the cartoon's intro.
The cartoon (or perhaps the intro of the show), from what I remember, has a similar gang of young dinos to the Land Before Time crew but there was like a pink diplodocus (or maybe it wasn't pink) and they slid down a river together in a scene.
It might have been a Christian cartoon or something. All I knew is that it felt like a super bootleg dollar store tier Land Before Time show. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
I know of a tv series that's like a normal sitcom but in the last episode they discover that they are in tv series and suddenly there are dinosaurs with laser space and thing like that. Do you know the name?
Bonus question: do you also think that Milhouse is El Barto?

"Cadillacs & Dinosaurs" is an American/Canadian animated television series produced by De Souza Productions, Galaxy Films and Nelvana, which aired on CBS Kids in the United States from 1993 to 1994, lasting for one season of 13 episodes. Based on the comic book of the same name (formerly titled Xenozoic Tales) by Mark Schultz, the show was created by screenwriter Steven E. de Souza, who acquired the TV rights after producing the video game Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, which was also based on Schultz's comic.
The show dealt with many strong ecological and political issues that were central to the plot development.
PLOT: The series followed the exploits of Jack Tenrec and his crew of ecological freedom fighters known as the "Mechanics". His often-reluctant companion is the foreign ambassador Hannah Dundee. She hires Jack as a liaison while she attempts to create clear communication between her land and the modern civilization. Together they confront the serious issues facing the futuristic environment that humanity has come to inhabit.
Jack also has Hermes, a juvenile "cutter" that Jack hand-reared after the latter's mother death. Gentle with Jack and Hannah, he can still be rather fierce when angered. The show also includes a race of intelligent lizards called "Griths".
Jack and his crew square off against opposition including the Council of Governors and Hammer Terhune's gang.
Runtime: around 24 minutes each
File size: between 130mb & 150mb each

I have no clue on dates and very little memory of the story. It's a memory that has been with me for ages and I clearly remember a group of people flying over the Bermuda triangle, like most movies involved Bermuda triangle everything goes bonkers and suddenly they go through a portal and on the other side there's dinosaurs and they've basically jumped back into time. The plane crashes into big trees. This has followed me for years and I've gone through lists and lists with dinosaur movies. All I can say that it's not recent. I remember it being fairly good.
I think it aired on cartoon network in maybe 2010 or 11. It was kind of like PokΓ©mon in that there were "trainers" but i think they only had one dinosaur each. The protagonist probably had red clothes and his dinosaur was a triceratops if im mot mistaken.
He was tired of being pushed around
English isn't my native language (not even my second language). But I do love to watch british series in english and if available with subtitles(not often the case somehow). Imagine my confusion when a unrelated looking 30 year old calls the older women character Mom. Because it didn't happen to often on my viewings (maybe Ma'am isn't that common) I was confused but I put it always aside as me being not attentive enough. Only with the magic of subtitles was I able to understand how much of an moron I was.
