A list of puns related to "Digital tabletop game"
Context: I'm a tabletop game designer, and my team and I released our first RPG earlier this year. We're currently working on our first expansion, which is a standalone tabletop card game that has hooks for playing with TTRPGs.
I have some experience in front-end development, and a general interest in programming, so I set about making a digital prototype of the card game to help me run simulations and get the numbers right (if you're interested, you can access a very scaled-back but stable build here). Here are a few things I've learned.
Any love for old digital tabletop games?
Many of them can be found here:

Hey everyone! I've got a Kickstarter going for an RPG of mine I've been working on for a while called Retropunk. Here's a brief pitch:
Retropunk is a tabletop roleplaying game where you embody characters in a futuristic hybrid reality. The digital and the physical have merged. People navigate their daily lives in something beyond augmented reality by way of a neurochip implanted at birth. The characters in Retropunk have hacked their neurochips in a way that lets them navigate hybrid reality just like everyone else, but disables monitoring from the system. They use their anonymity as armor while they fight against the corporatocracy which controls urban sprawls that span countries and continents. One of the player characters' goals in Retropunk is to take resources away from those in power and to use what they take to sustain and grow their resistance, taking on more powerful factions that facilitate these megacorporations vice-like control.
It's "retro" in a couple of ways. For one, the mechanics are inspired by Whitehack, an old-school renaissance game. The art/aesthetic is also retrofuturistic. It's cyberpunk, and the mechanics reinforce punk values. It's also a weird blend, and I think the name sums it up well.
Anyway, if you're interested in it, please check out the project. We are just a couple days away from being done and we're fully funded and looking to hit a couple of stretch goals.
Hello Everyone!

WE'RE READY. ASK US ANYTHING!
EDIT:
THAT'S ALL FOLKS! We're off to Twitch for some Uncaged: World Fighters Gaming at 3PM!

This isn't a game board, but specifically pertains to elements that compliment game boards. We have an app called Forteller that's a narration companion app with board games like Gloomhaven.

I've been working on a platform called the DMGE. It's a combination library and map tool for digital table top games.
It's a labour of love for the last several months and it does things like this: https://i.imgur.com/3wGzZ3i.gifv
You can see the DM view on the left, and the player view on the right.
I built it to play digital animated battlemaps for tabletop games.
Creating an account and using the tool is currently free, although it uses Patreon for registering a new account. If you see any issues, just email me and I'll fix your account. The module I'm using for this is finicky at best :(
It uses similar tech to Roll20, in terms of javascript and a website, but the big difference is it allows you to load anything as a map.
You can mix jpgs, and pngs with YouTube videos, and MP4s or MKVs from your computer. All of these resources are imported and embedded upon the canvas and can be manipulated in several ways; rotated, scaled, and opacity adjusted.
GIFs are sent to a cloud service where they are converted to MP4's and loaded back to the service and the system does this automatically. This is because the HTML tech doesn't support animated GIFs but it Does support MP4 files.
I'm currently working on the filtration for removing the white that results on the transparent portions of the respective GIF.
It does blending as well. Just got it working a moment ago. So it does this: https://i.imgur.com/mKwxCVs.gifv
That's a locally loaded mkv (one of Dynamic Dungeons modular dungeon tiles) and a YouTube video loaded in the same map arrangement.
In short, I'd like it if folks who play on a digital tabletop, give it a go and give me their feedback!
There's still a lot of things to work out and integrate (at some point I aim to integrate improved initiative).
There are plans to take it to online play through the cloud service I'm using.
Effectively if you register for a Cloudinary account (I don't get any kickbacks on this, they were just guys who had an API and a great free offer) you can your Cloudinary API details into your DMGE account and your GIFs will be stored to the service. In time, I aim for the DMGE to use Cloudinary and/or Google Drive depending on the users preference, and to source data from these catalogues if requested.
All plans for down the line. Baby steps <3
It currently can do, a synchronized player view, fog of war, cu

Instead of buying/making your own minis which can be very cost and/or time intensive you can use DigiT as digital alternative. This program allows you to generate random maps and design them to meet your requirements and demands on the fly. By that, you'll be able to create your own, unique settings when playing pen-and-paper tabletop games.
Main features so far are:
four (4) different landscapes (gras, moor, sand, snow) with optional rivers and vegetation
caves with optional structures (stalagmits, pillars)
hexagonal and square grid layout
more than 35 objects (trees, paths, animals, etc.)
adjustable lighting for every time of day and dynamic shadowing
customizable controls
saving and loading maps
Last time I posted here, several people requested a short video so I recorded a few minutes to show some of the features that are currently available. Also, I added the possibility to change the maps after they've been generated so from now on you can tweak maps you like but that don't quite fit your requirements.
Of course, I'd be more than happy to hear back from you: what are you most interested in next? What's still missing?

I posted a first public version of the program here two weeks ago and recieved great feedback by a lot of people (last post). I used this feedback to implement your most requested feature: square grids. All maps are now available in hexagon grid and as square grid!
In addition to that, I added the possiblity to add automatically generated rivers and preexisting vegetation when creating a new map.

If you like to stick to your top down 2D view, though, you can do that too. :)
Main features so far are:
- four (4) different landscapes (gras, moor, sand, snow) with optional rivers and vegetation
- caves with optional structures (stalagmits, pillars)
- map editing: alter individual tiles to tweak the maps
- hexagonal and square grid layout
- more than 50 objects (trees, paths, animals, etc.)
- every color of every object is adjustable to set the mood just like you want it to be
- individual notes for every object
- adjustable lighting for every time of day and dynamic shadowing
- customizable controls
- saving and loading maps
During the last two weeks, I was also able to add native support for touch input. So if you want to you a tablet instead of a laptop, that's not a problem!

As always you guys gave me amazing feedback the last time I posted here. But the features you suggested were too big to implement in such a short time so I focused on some other things: I added a new type of object that allows you to fill tiles visually without actually taking away the spot of an other object. Also, I was able to fix a bug that caused issues with loading maps. And lastly, I reworked the UI to improve scaling on different screen sizes.
