After a survivor with one triple and double elimination we end on yet another unexpected note as we have our second double winner of the survivor. Please give it up for

I kind of expected this final round to be close, but I have to admit I didn't expect a double winner to come out of this one. It's a good thing these survivors still keep throwing some curveballs at my expectations. Although none of my top picks made it into the finals these are still some very nice songs, so I'm not too unhappy about this outcome.
I hope everyone voting had a good time once again and with this we are moving into the first part of Nick's trilogy with one of my personal favorite albums of all time Push The Sky Away released five years after DLD in 2013. PTSA doesn't have any weak tracks imo and my favorites change from time to time, but I think Jubilee Street will always remain my ultimate no 1. Voting will be very hard for me and I guess the same goes for a lot of you as well ;)
To give everyone ample time to listen to this masterpiece I will resume the survivor on the 16th of December.

Hi guys, new to the subreddit but I've been a big Cave fan and In touch with my dark side for a long time now. Does anybody know why nothing from Dig, Lazarus, Dig appears in their set lists?
I'm not the only one who thinks it's a fucking great record am I?

Tracks like more news from nowhere, call upon the author, today's lesson, jesus of the moon the storytelling style tracks I just can't get enough of. I was lucky enough to see him while he was touring this album it was perfect but I wasn't really fussed about anything he played that wasn't on that album.
Can anyone tell me where I should start what I hope to be an odyssey through his work?

Our second elimination of this survivor is already one of my top picks as Night of the Lotus Eaters has taken 9 out of 48!
The reason I really like this one for its contrast with a lot of the other songs on the album as it is quite slow and manages to create a menacing atmosphere. It's a nice song to play when you want to think something over or want to get entranced imo. Let's hope my other top pick isn't next.

This survivor has immediately been shortened quite a bit as we have our second triple elimination ever (the last one was from Kicking Against the Pricks) because Moonland, Lie Down Here (& Be My Girl) AND Jesus of the Moon have each taken 9 votes out of 52!
This eliminated Moonland which I've been voting for quite some while but also eliminates two of my favorites so quite some conflicting feelings here :(

As I've said in the results of the O Children survivor this is Nick's album where Grinderman's influence is clearest. It's an album with quite a bit of very good songs like Jesus On The Moon, Night of The Lotus Eaters, Today's Lesson and many others. However, it also has some songs I can quite easily vote out like Moonland and Midnight Man
My predictions for ultimate winner would be DLD or HOTY. Personally I'm rooting for Jesus on The Moon, but if HOTY wins I'll be quite happy nonetheless.

We are immediately thrown into the penultimate round as both Hold On To Yourself AND Midnight Man have been eliminated with 22 votes out of 80!
I have to admit that all my top picks have been eliminated at this point with one of my least favourites DLD still being in it atm. Thus my vote is quite simple this round although I will have quite some trouble if the final round comes down to Author VS News which I both like quite evenly.

This penultimate round is one of the closest ones I've seen so far as Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! was eliminated with only 20 votes out of 54, with the other two tying with 17 votes!
Thus we have a final matchup of We Call Upon the Author VS More News from Nowhere. As they were both tied it is really hard to determine which one will come out on top and I have to admit I like both of these equally so I'm gonna have to think quite a bit before casting my own vote.
