A list of puns related to "Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds"
Just wanted to say thank you for all of the suggestions! Iβm taking time every morning to check all of them out, and I like the fact that it will take me a while :)
I listened to Skeleton Tree when it came out and I enjoyed quite a bit, where do I go from here?
CONTEXT: I thought "Today's Lesson" was the best one, but then "Nature Boy" came up on Spotify and now I suppose it might be, too. I described it to a bigger Nick Cave fan than I as "basically Today's Lesson meets Spinning Song" and he thinks that I am ridiculous and that calling it one of the best is ridiculous.
But I believe it is close with "Today's Lesson" for the best one.
Thoughts? Is my comparison apt, and is it one of the best Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds songs?
Thank you for your time

If you voted on my post yesterday and one if your top 10/honourable mentions aren't there, please let me know as I will add it in.
Basically, whenever fall starts, I start listening to all these folky-indie-whatever bands like Bright Eyes and Sufjan Stevens but all their music is so sad that I end up getting bummed out. Are there any artists similar to the ones I mentioned that have good lyrics and aesthetics but won't leave me feeling very sad?
Edit: man this got a lot of attention! It seems like I'll be set on music for the rest of autumn lol thank you to everyone that responded
What an Album!
I've been severely depressed for years, and am now unemployed. I have a nerve related condition that has me now disabled with limited mobility and I'm in a different country alone -trying to get treatment.....Needless to say I'm not feeling the greatest at this point in my life.
I've been running on autopilot for a while now. Just living day to day, without any emotion or passion. While checking out MetaCritic to find my next show to zone out to, I noticed Nick Cave had a new album and it was rated very highly. I remembered Nick Cave from a movie called The Proposition, which he did the soundtrack for -which is one of my favourite soundtracks ever. So, I decided to give Ghosteen a listen. Now, I haven't really "listened" to an Album in years. At best I'd just have music in the background.
As soon as I started playing The Album, I stopped what I was doing and actually listened to the music and let myself shut off that part of my brain that was stiffling me. The emotions just came out in a flood and I cried for the first time in years. I felt so much better after I had finished the Album, and felt a like a giant weight was lifted off my body. No therapy, drugs, or councelling has had an effect like that on me.
It's a few days later and I'm still feeling better, and I'm even hopefull for the future as I thought I'd never feel emotions again, and just the fact that I was able to feel somthing has me very excited.
Thank You Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds! Having read about the Album and how it was inspired by tragedy -it really comes through in the music. The emotions are so real, I can feel them through the music, and to me that's profound.
