Would a rainbow in the sky have the same degree of curvature if the Earth was flat?

I'm a 19 year old male with an 85 degree curvature in the spine, condition called Scoliosis AmA!
I was born with scoliosis and the curvature has become so large that my doctor has told me its unfixable(Its fixable but the risks are so high that it is not worth chancing). I am 19 and 4'10", AmA!
Pictures of me: http://i.imgur.com/tIihl6B.jpg
EDIT1: This is my first Reddit post and my first AmA! I have never heard from so many other people with scoliosis! Throughout my 19 year life career ive only met 2 other people with scoliosis. My grandpa and some random kid at a park that was a spitting mirror image of me. Like I mean twins.
EDIT2: Its been 4 hours and Im still trying to answer everyones comments!
EDIT3: 6 hours in and ive commented back to about 90% of peoples comments!
EDIT4: 8 Hours in and comments are still coming in. Still trying to answer all of them. Ill be up for another 2 hours!
EDIT5: OK so its been a really long 10 hours! For the whole 10 hours of this post ive been sitting at my laptop, reading, commenting, answering EVERY SINGLE COMMENT. If I didn't reply to you, then I read what you had to say. I kept refreshing my unread messages making sure that the people with late comments got a response. Thank you everyone for sharing your stories and giving your advise. I did not expect this to get so big. When I get home I have a few things to do, thank you again for everyones comments and advise, I am off to bed, so If you are reading this update then I have gone to bed!

How large does building has to be so the curvature of the earth has to be considered in its design?
I know that for small things like a house we can just consider the earth flat and it is all good. But how the curvature of the earth influences bigger things like stadiums, roads and so on?

Why do physicists continue to treat gravity as a fundamental force when we know it's not a true force but rather the result of the curvature of space-time?
It seems that trying to unify gravity and incorporate it in The Standard Model will be impossible since it's not a true force and doesn't need a force carrying particle like a graviton or something. There is no rush to figure out what particle is responsible for water staying in the bucket when I spin it around. What am I missing?
Edit: Guys and gals thanks for all the great answers and the interest on this question. I'm glad there are people out there a lot smarter than I am working on this!

TIL Olympus Mons on Mars, the tallest known mountain in the solar system, is so large at its base that an observer on its peak wouldnβt know he was standing on a mountain because its slope would be obscured by the curvature of the planet itself.

So, gravity is the curvature of space-time, but also one of the four fundamental forces, how?
Hello, so I got hit by this question today, and I would really like to understand this. If we see gravity as described by Einstein, do we still see it as a force? I might also not have a very clear understanding of relativity because I just know what I've read in books and on the internet.
Sorry if the question seems stupid for some, I'm still in high school, I'm 17, and very curious when it comes to physics. I know that these concepts may be too complicated for me but if someone could briefly explain what I asked, I would be extremely grateful. Thanks :3

What are some examples of how we must compensate for the curvature of the earth in everyday human activity? I.e. calculations or measurements for construction, launching satellites, or any other common process?
Got a friend who has hinted at being open to the idea of the earth being flat. Iβm trying to preemptively bolster some counter arguments with something real and relatable like, βif the earth wasnβt round weβd have no satellite tv, or we wouldnβt have to compensate for it in building railroadsβ(not sure if those are true, just tying to get my point across), etc.
Thank you!!

How do planes account for the curvature of the earth?
I once saw a flat-earther say "if the Earth was round, planes would have to dip their nose down or else the plane would fly into space." Now usually i could find scientific conclusions to some of these things flat earthers say, but i've been stumped on this one. I would think that if it does nothing then the world really might be flat but I know it's not. I might be overthinking this but please, i'd like an answer to this. Thanks!
