Reading the tea leaves -- check out this article from Billboard -- I'd say she should land at either 2 or 3. 3 would tie CTTT which shockingly is the highest one of her albums ever got on that specific chart, called the Billboard 200. A 2 is attainable, having this hit the top seems like a pipe dream though with Lil Wayne's new album expected to have a huge debut.
By the way the author of that Billboard article, Keith Caulfield -- I don't know him but I remember a personal blog he had years ago that I bookmarked on one of my first computers (that's how long ago it was, early 00s or possibly even late 90s). The name of the blog had something to do with 'keithers' which must have been a nickname he either used or uses. I recognize his name whenever I see it. He's a good writer when they give him a chance to write more than just a summary prediction article for the site.
Cher and Abba were contemporaries. Abba's career took off after winning Eurovision in 1974 and then split up in 1982. But at the time, they were widely considered a little naff. They were not cool in the age of glam rock, disco, punk and electronic new wave. So my question to Cher is - what did you think of Abba at the time? Because her career was gong through a naff phase too as she had become a TV celeb and then had to build up to a reinvention for her first comeback. Abba were global, right. I do not believe that Cher did not sing along to Dancing Queen at the time. What did she think of them?
Dancing queen, young and sweet, she is the dancing queen!
