A list of puns related to "Cream (pharmacy)"
Hi! I will be getting my first tattoo ever on my forearm next week. I'm a bit scared because I wonder if i can tolerate the pain. I asked the tattoo artist if i could use some numbing cream before the tattoo and he just replied "no cream", so I'm looking for second opinions.
I've tried gel, patches, and injections, and was just recently switched to this cream from a compounding pharmacy that has made my life much, much easier. Has anyone else tried this form of T? What was it like? I really need to get my levels up.
New place I'm going to said if I wanna use creams they are gonna have to do it through some online pharmacy that will send me compounded creams but it won't be able to go through my insurance? I tried asking her the question above and she said " there is but they are all horrible" which didn't answer my question really, and I think she was referring to gels anyway. She's also never heard of xyosted and gave me a funny look when I tried to explain it. Are these red flags?
I was prescribed 0.025% tretinoin cream. Dermatologist said I could get Retin-A at this strength TODAY. I went into the pharmacy and they gave me Stieva-a. I asked for Retin-a cream at that same percentage and the person at the pharmacy claimed it does not exist anymore. Is this true?
Edited to add I have had a lot of issues with this pharmacy before so thatβs why Iβm skeptical. The person who said this also wasnβt the pharmacist.
Trying to get some of Dr. Powers' atrophy-reversal cream together but I keep getting blocked by bureaucracy.
My doctor says he cannot prescribe versabase or any cream at all because they are unlicensed, and the private gp clinic I'm looking at seems unable to do that either for the same reason.
Has anyone in the UK been able to find a way to get any kind of cream from a compounding pharmacy, and if so, with which route?
Thanks
EDIT: I got it made by roseway labs via Doctorcall's prescription after I showed them a stamped doctors note from my GP recommending the cream to be prescribed.
Hello, I am looking for cold cream to use as a cleanser. I foumd out this method works for me well, you can clean with almost any cream as long as it is emulsion type water in oil, so think kinda very greasy cream, usually with some sort of fats or oils and wax. European cold creams usually dont state the cleansing part in theie description at all.
I am just lost in which creams can i get in europe that are like this that wont cost too much. Do you know of any?
Today I got my second covid vaccine with my sister at a pharmacy out of town. Beforehand I told her I needed some stuff there, whatever. As we waited after getting the shot I started looking around to find a treatment or something for scabs from stuff. Knowing I would probably never come back I worked up the courage to ask one of the pharmacists for anything to help. As soon as I started talking my voice started shaking and I visibly teared up. Thankfully my mask made it harder to see that I was going to cry. She showed me the shelf and without thinking I gasped a little, most of the pads and creams were in the 15$-40$ range, for just 8 scar pads or 1 ounce. Even she remarked that they were expensive. I was scared if it was too much my sister would notice it at the check out so I was hesitant to buy one at all.
All that I could say was thank you as random emotion filled me. For the next few minutes I desperately looked and tried to wipe my eyes before my sister found me. The woman probably understood, right? A lone teenager asking for scar pads isnβt normal (I hope). She was working nearby as I stood there for a little longer almost wishing she would notice and offer a discount or something. In the end there was a cheaper one I bought that I think is worth it. Things were okay after that, I do not know why I am posting this but thanks for reading all of this anyways.
As a teenager, I was prescribed PO vancomycin for tonsillitis. As a pharmacist now, I look back at that and cringe.
Anyone else have stories like that? Something you were prescribed in the before times that now would make you scream?
Oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin.
I was a little confused about which pharmacy to use for the hair loss formula and anti-aging skin cream. Is there a specific one that's recommended, or can I just pick whichever one has the lowest price and delivery to my state?
The first one I see is Empower Pharmacy in Texas (https://www.reddit.com/r/DrWillPowers/comments/jkbzul/all_of_my_custom_compounds_are_now_available/)
The second one I see is BioMed Pharmacy in Michigan/Illinois (https://www.reddit.com//r/DrWillPowers/wiki/compounded-medicines).
Does anyone have experience with which one is easier to deal with?
Basically my skin is kind of thin now from the retinol and not as glowy - any French pharmacy creams maybe cicaplast? That will bring that strength barrier back?

I said to her... "Oi love, there's a queue here"
She replied "Ohh is this all for the pharmacy? "
The queue was about 15 people deep
I said "Yeah it is and the back of the queue is that way"
She replied (in her posh voice) to her husband standing nearby
" Gerald.. Gerald! - this is the pharmacy queue! What do we do?! "
At this point everyone in the queue were laughing under their masks as I attempted to deal with her
Her husband piped up.. " We've only came for beechams cough syrup"
I said "look, this is the queue you'll need to go to the back"
THEN she attempted to push in front of us all.. a few older ladies behind me entered the discussion at this stage and gave her a piece of their mind .. I was trying to be polite, but they did the job
Eventually she and husband left and decided to tell us all they were going to Lloyds Pharmacy instead as that had a more friendly atmosphere ???!
This was probably a pointless story, but thought someone may find it interesting
