Not sure if he's ever mentioned later in the game - I'm only on chapter three, but I just wanted to say that Leviticus Cornwall gives me some serious Cornelius Vanderbilt vibes lol.

Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship
Hey everyone! I'm applying to the CV scholarship, but I'm quite unsure about the essay portion. The prompt asks: "The College of Arts and Science is a liberal arts school committed to introducing every student to a broad range of subjects in the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. How will you embrace the breadth of courses offered by the College of Arts and Science? How will this fit into your academic journey or life's passions? Please limit your response to 500 words. "
My initial draft is essentially a "Why Vanderbilt" essay, including things from clubs/organizations to summer research opportunities. The prompt basically only says "breadth of courses," so should it only be about the courses offered, or could it be about ALL the things Vanderbilt offers? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

Cornelius Vanderbilt is my 2nd cousin 7x removed!
I originally posted a photo, but then I thought the relationship calculation was too complicated and I wanted to preemptively avoid comments about it, as I am not the home person in my familyβs tree :) either way, pretty cool! Havenβt found many famous relatives before.

I present, Cornelius Vanderbilt.
This is a long one, so hang tight.
After the American civil war, America rebuilt it's self for the first time. It is also at this time we meet Cornelius Vanderbilt. After working with ferry's for a while he took advantage of the growing railroad system and made a railroad company. When he was 72 he owned the Alden bridge, the only railroad bridge to New York. After a bunch of Rival company's denied to pay to use his bridge, He then proceeded to order his son to set up a blockade, making it so no cargo or passenger train can enter New York. This destroyed the rival train company's leaving Cornelius to be in my book, a Mad Lad.
