A list of puns related to "Confidence trick"
Sometimes I get questions at work, and while I do know the answer, my reply comes off as very uncertain because of the way I speak-- slowly and with choppy sentences. Lots of umms and pauses, followed by an abrupt end.
I have a friend who also speaks like that, but at the end of his statement he gives a reassuring "mh-hm". I don't hear a lot of people do this, but it does seem to work. It's almost a way of saying, "that is my full and complete answer, and I confirm its accuracy."
Is the "mh-hm" something I could use too, or is it too unusual? Is there something better?
Obviously I adore my stand mixer and silicone mats. I'd like to know about things I may have never knew about!
Hey everyone. I need tips to help me with tricks because I've watched so many videos on how to ollie and I still can't do it. I don't have the best board, I have a big w mambo one because my parents thought I would quit so they wouldn't spend much money on it. Just please help me because all my friends are nailing it but I'm being left in the dark.
From experience I donβt think there is, I can pep talk myself for a whole day but it still will not change the anxiety I get when having to socialise, but if I were to face fears head on then it certainly improves confidence overtime! It really seems as if the only way to beat social anxiety is to βget out thereβ, but that sucks as we all know. I just want a way to give myself confidence without actually having to do anything, after all it is just a mindset so there must be a way to enter that mindset without any experience. If not then this anxiety level is entirely objective as if it was subjective then I would be able to brainwash myself without having to βget out thereβ. How can a mindset be objective, that just makes no sense to me, but the fact that only βgetting out thereβ will fix it points to this objectivity? Basically if itβs subjective, as I would expect, then there must be a way to brainwash ourselves without actually having to do anything and at a certain level we could remove anxiety all together! What are some of your ways to gain confidence at home?
I'm working on starting an Eberron campaign and a big theme of the campaign is going to be lies vs truth, so I am thinking about an intro plot having the characters deal with low-level members of the Tyrants running one or more scams/con tricks to fleece money off of Cyran refugees in/around High Walls. I have been looking up con tricks but I'm struggling in relating them to the world of Eberron and to be interesting enough for the characters (who will be investigative reporters) to be hooked into. Any ideas?
So I'm sure lots of you will relate to how difficult it is to style a fuller bust.
For some reason we've all been conditioned to think that a fuller bust is purely sexual and/or disgusting (especially when combined with a bigger body in general). I really want to let go of that stupid sexist and misogynistic thinking and would love your guy's input on how to gain confidence in wearing things that are stereotypically not made for a fuller bust + bigger body.
For reference I'm about a UK 32/34 J and a size UK 16/18. Most of my style influences aren't midsize or plus size although I follow a lot more people like that online than I used to. I'm into "modern" clothing if that's important, think bestdressed , sophiefloyd , dariadaria or nicolealyseee.
So, what are your secret weapons or best tips? I know wearing the correct size bra (thx r/ABraThatFits) has been an absolute game changer for me but I still struggle with outfits. I'm really scared people will say horrible things about me to my face or online and I still care too much what people think. Showing off a lot of cleavage always makes me feel really insecure but I love how it looks on thinner people/people with less of a bust.
I'd love to know about your own journey or what you think of the topic in general!
