A list of puns related to "Conceptual model"
Colab notebook. Twitter reference.
Twitter reference for RiversHaveWings' model.
The Colab notebook works on a Tesla K80 GPU, which free-tier Colab users nowadays are commonly assigned. Variables "clip_guidance_scale" or "steps" can be reduced for speed gains. I've used "steps" as low as 25. If "steps" is a relatively small number, the notebook recommends to set "eta" to 0, or at least closer to 0 than 1.
From what I've observed, I have gathered that emergent properties are "ideas conceived to describe or classify according to arbitrary criteria and an arbitrary point of view, certain processes by focusing on some macroscopic aspects whilst neglecting many other aspects, such as the microscopic structures and process", in other words, they are approximate descriptions of reality used to describe how an external object appears to our conscious mind, and not how it is in itself.
For example, a tornado may appear like a tornado to us, but to say that is how the object exists in itself would be wrong as we are ignoring the billions of microscopic processes, grouping together these sequences as a whole is an arbitrary choice and therefore the tornado is not as it appears to be.
What is your opinion on this and what would you classify as an emergent property?
I'm studying linear regression, and all places where I look to understand some given topic, I read that there are various types of linear models, that linear regression is just one type, but I can't find anywhere the other kinds of linear models, the same with regression estimation methods, supposedly OLS is just one method and that there exists some more, but they don't talk anything about them. I just want to have the big picture of linear models and then of regression estimation methods.
Thank you everyone
I saw the figure below in an Technical Environmental Report and I would really like if someone could point me in the right direction. It is a conceptual site model to begin our geotech and radiation analysis of the surrounding area.

Hi there, this is my first post.

I've been working on a project for 1.5 years and the release is planned for 1.18.
This is a video of 11 min raw gameplay footage about how it's looking so far.
What do you think?
The more I dig into the books and lectures of Neville the more apparent it is how outdated it is. Make no mistake about it, he has a brilliant grasp of esoteric principles and extrapolates the Bibleβs mental psychology hidden in the stories therein in a way that grabs his audience. That audience was Christians seeking deeper truths. Todayβs audience are much more diverse and come from all over the world as can be seen by the number of non native English speakers in these forums. This necessitates a new conceptual model that can be universally understood and accepted.
A conceptual model is defined as a representation of a system, made of the composition of concepts which are used to help people know, understand, or simulate a subject the model represents.
For thousands of years since the dawn of language, the symbols of deified gods in the cosmos drawn across the constellations were the conceptual models used to help man understand his place in the world. Unfortunately at some point we began to worship the concept and discard the deeper meaning within.
The process by which an abstract concept to help early man understand the inner workings of his mind as a way of understanding the world around him become instead defied and worshipped , is no different from the concepts that get bandied around in the modern world to help us understand the inner workings of our minds and then subsequently become deified and worshipped.
New Thought has become a proverbial cesspool of methodology and endless woo woo think that tends to take a simple tenet, imagination creates reality, and buries it under endless mystical circular arguments and rituals.
Somewhere down the line the abstract concept became a hardened misinterpreted fact. Jesus Christ, a mythical figure with no historical evidence of having existed, was willed into existence by a corrupt institution willing to do anything to consolidate its power. You cannot make money off of and control a populace that can access the divine merely through their own imaginative faculties without going through an intercessor.
Iβm trying to refrain from quoting Neville here but I couldnβt help but throw this one in there:
> While reading scripture, always bear in mind that it is a story of salvation and not secular history, that the characters . . from Adam to Jesus . . are states of consciousness.
There always seem to be those who know the real truth and with a wink and a nod they keep the veil down in order to keep

We've reached the top ten, and after a fantastic week, the reality of the competition has set in.
Only the best of the best will survive to the next round, but who are those lucky nine? That could be in your hands!
Let's see how the models did this week.
Immunity Challenge
In order to save themselves from elimination, this time we're asking to see the models' best and most attention-grabbing show card!
For those of you unfamiliar, a show card (or a comp card) is a special purpose card, similar to a composite card, created to bring attention to an agencies' models as fashion show season approaches.
In short, it's meant to bewk you them gigs, honey!
Let's see how they did:
The model with the best show card will not have to worry about being eliminated, but for the rest of them... well, I hope their photoshoot goes tip-top!
Speaking of which...
Photo Challenge
For this week's photo shoot, the models will be channeling their inner artiste as they unravel concepts, ideas, colours and find a muse of their own! They will have to deliver an abstract beauty shot that is as much fashion as it is art. The more unconventional, the better, but don't forget they have to bring it back to the industry that we're working in.
Here's their best shots:

GENERAL DESIGN PHILOSOPHY:
While both the Adventure and Modern era models of Sonic each have their own pros and cons, finding a proper middle ground between the two has always been a challenge due to the difference in design philosophies involved. The Adventure era games were more βconventionalβ 3D platformers where speed was considered a reward for good performance in platforming and combat, while Modern era games followed a more on-rails model where the challenge came from maintaining blistering speed and honing reflexes. While on paper one would think these elements would be easy to meld together, in practice attempts at doing so have had their own share of shortcomings, both created inadvertently by the new formulas themselves, and inherited from the models they sourced from.
But perhaps the bigger problem in melding these formulas together comes from indecision of whether to prioritize speed, platforming, combat and/or exploration over one another. There needs to be incentive and ability to do any one of those three things without entirely compromising the others. The closest weβve come in this regard would probably be a three-way tie between SA1, Generations and Lost World. While I donβt claim my suggestions would amount to a definitive βideal wayβ in this regard, itβs what I at least think would be close to it.
To start with, any sort of βstop and goβ platforming that requires extensive periods of waiting should be avoided whenever possible. Sonic at its core is about maintaining speed and momentum, and having to wait for several seconds at a time for an elevator to move or an opening in hazards to show up tends to put a damper on the thrill of gameplay in this regard (outside of gameplay for other characters, but thatβs another story). In fact, responsibly cutting said openings in correlation to reaction time can potentially make the gameplay more enjoyable, provided the penalties for failure arenβt too severe or unfair.
On a similar note, caution should be taken not to over-rely on simple βblock platformingβ. While easier to implement compared to ramps, loops and half pipes, it tends to result in pacing problems even for higher skill level players when they find themselves running into uneven walls or ledges. A partial solution to this problem is provided in a later section.
A key factor in appealing to the desire for platforming, exploration and combat is the implementation of a new scoring system. Rather than building a cumulative score fro
